We booked this hotel a bit last minute due to a storm hitting us in our around Iceland roadtrip and even if it was lastminute, everything was ready and prepared for us. The room had a good size and the food was good both for diner and breakfast.

It was mostly very pleasant to stay there. The only point to highlight would be the "aging" look of the hotel but it is confortable and we slept well which is what you want on a roadtrip.

A comfortable and unpretentious hotel with great views across Skagafjordur. A convenient stop on the Ring Road between Reykjavik and Akureyri, and a good base for touring this beautiful area in the summer months. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast.

Very little. The car park needs resurfacing - it's rather rough - but overall an excellent stay.

Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional. My wife and I both had their Cod dish that was absolutely fantastic. In addition, my wife has several food allergies and they were able to prepare the dish to meet her needs. Price was very good and the service was definitely 5 stars.

Shower was very small and while towels were provided, there were no wash clothes provided.

The staff is great. Excellent service reception at and dinner. Dinner exceeded expectations by serving freshest cod and perfect foal. Facilities are basic but in good condition.

Breakfast was rather basic, but tasty. No refrigerator in the room.

The hotel was located right next to Route One and a short drive from some tourist attractions.

The hotel rooms looked a bit run down. One of the light bulbs was not working when we checked in. A staff member helped fix it upon our request.

Unfortunately, our room request was not read. Despite our request for a quiet room, we were given a room overlooking the building site and the street instead of out the back.

We were given a room on the third floor, thankfully there was a lift. The room was spacious, bed was comfy. Breakfast was varied and plenty of it. Excellent friendly staff. Great stay, recommended.

Good hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a bit more warmth and individuality in the design.

The whole room spacious with really good beds and very good shower. The coffe and breakfast was very nice and the service was good. We called in because of late check in and it was no problem.

Convenience on ring road and breakfast included. Having a restaurant onsite worked well after a big day of travel and site seeing.
