Good price on the accommodation. Apparently we were not considered for breakfast even if we asked beforehand and got confirmed for it, when we came down there was no breakfast but the girl went out of her way to get something for us. Cudos for her.

We felt breakfast was not worth the money or the fuzz. Not the girls fault but next time we will skip breakfast and go over to the hotel next door for one. Beds are not the best and in this very old house the steps are very steep and not for legless people like us.

There was a red-head girl with curly hair. She was so amazingly sweet and friendly and helpful. The house exceeded my expectations big time. So home-like, old-fashioned, retro, but sweet, clean, comfy and unique. So much attention was given to small details and aesthetics. Suitable for those who wish to experience a local Islandic home that has preserved its essence over the decades. Our room was so beautiful and bed so comfortable. Sheets were very soft. It was right next to ocean in a small town.

It was in a good location, clean, and had good shared bathrooms with hot water and good water pressure.

The room heater was turned on so hot and the windows barely opened to let in cool air. The owner told us we could use the kitchen but when we got there he had told the staff that we couldn’t. They tried to amend us with allowing us use of the outside grill, but we felt unwelcome so we made other plans.

Such a cute and cozy place! The apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed and more. The view just outside our door I was so idyllic! We had a small walk by the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Absolutely wonderful!

You could see that this is not a newly decorated place, and some of the furniture were a bit old and worn out, but it didn't bother us at all, bec in general it was a beautiful place.

Cute guesthouse with a great view of a black sand beach! Check in and check out was very easy. There were showers with hot water and good pressure. Guests could have tea, cookies and coffee for free as well as use the kitchen. The guesthouse also had a restaurant guests could get food at, we didn't get any but it was good to have that option. Beds were super warm and comfortable and our room had good heating. Staff and other guests were really friendly!

This is a very charming place with a LOT of character. The rooms have shared baths, that are a little bit dated, but it all adds to the charm. The owner family is beyond friendly - just the kindest and most helpful people we encountered on the trip. The rooms are all individually furnished and it feels like being in a villa from another time The owner,/manager Jolanda is extremely friendly an d helpful. WHile you can't use the kitchen, she helped us get fill our waterbottles with hot water for next day and any small things we needed. As there is no kitchen to use, we chose to have dinner at her restaurant, and it was an easy but VERY tasty meal. Plenty of safe parking is awailable next to the house. For those so inclined, there is a nice beach/coastal walk right from the house. It's a perfect spot to spend the night/dinner as a stop on the Ring Road.

The staff was very friendly, and let me leave my luggage for a few hours while I explored the town before I left. The place is right on the water with a view over the fjord.

I thought I had booked a double bed, but that is only in the appartments. Also, as I was traveling by bus, it was a bit of a hike to the busstop.

We were lucky with the weather and had a room with a beautiful view of the sunset. The room met all expectations of a "Budget twin bed room". The house was clean and had some charm.

The noise isolation inside the house is not very good. We've been lucky and had quiet neighbors, but if the neighbors speak at night, you might hear it is you're nose sensitive.

Very friendly staff; large and comfortable room; good breakfast. Convenient location and not too touristy. Nice little black sand beach right out the front door.

The stairs were a bit scary and hard to navigate. Would be impossible for people with disabilities.

Great self contained apartment. Decent sized rooms and decent cooking facilities.

Need better instructions to find the apartment. Could find the guesthouse but this apartment was just down the road. Luckily someone was able to point us in the right direction.
