Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was big and comfortable with a nice bathroom and shower. We sat outside in the hot tubs until late talking with some of the other guests. The kitchen area where we made our own breakfast was big and we'll equipped. We were during off season so no staff on premises but that was no issue. I forgot the room key in my pocket when we left so I emailed the staff and they responded promptly and were very understanding. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about our stay here. I would definitely stay again.

Easily my favourite guesthouse on our journey! The surrounding area was super quiet and peaceful and we saw a great northern lights show from right in front of the guesthouse. The shared kitchen had everything (ranging from the essentials to things like waffle maker or air fryer) and the interior design was very cozy.

Our room was very small. From the evacuation plans we could see that it used to be a room for one bed and maybe it should have stayed that way. We had barely any room for our suitcases and we had to enter/exit the room one person at a time because there was so little space to stand.

Great set-up, great hosts, facilities great for families (we got an en-suite room and I'm glad we did that). Great free coffee and well-equipped kitchen! Also appreciated the fridge in the room. The owners mum was around most days and she was so helpful (we stayed about 6 days). Finally - we saw the northern lights too!

On a couple of nights when it was really busy there were doors banging until early hours of the morning, someone using a hair-dryer just outside our room at midnight etc - would be good to have 'quiet hours' during the night and signs up about that.

Its a great location, quiet. There were not too many options for the price in this area, so it worked out well

My wife thought it was a backpackers place and wanted to leave, I had to talk her into staying, explained that backpackers cant afford this, sorry that is what she felt. Our room was opposite the shared bathroom, and the shared kitchen smelled from what was being cooked by guests. I think you have to tempor your expectations, not many options in that part of Iceland, for the price it was about right, you can't compare with other places in the world. It was super quiet, that at least saved it.

Special highlight: hot tubs, beautiful hot spring just 10mins away by car, big kitchen with everything you need.

The shower was really old and a little ugly. There could have been more towels per person and a light at the bedside for reading. There must have been some insects in the bed because I have unfortunately found a lot of red bites on my body after having slept there…

Kitchen was very big and with so many amenities you could not miss anything or wait for anything to be available Breakfast offered quite a few choices and felt quite decent Wifi was very reliable

Only one shower in the lower floor looked a bit short Beds were a bit soft for me (I felt like I was sinking into the mattress) but I realized this is probably an Iceland thing (notice in some other hotels)

Only wish we'd have had a little more time to spend here. Facilities looked amazing including the large kitchen area. The hot tubs are a lovely touch and a wonderful place to enjoy the views. The room was a good size and we especially enjoyed the communal lounge area on the first floor. The bathroom was large and very clean with excellent water pressure for a much needed hot shower at the end of the day.

A very minor complaint as it seems to be the norm in Iceland to get 1 pillow. It definitely didn't ruin the stay but did require a bit of pillow origami to get comfortable.

Our room was okay, and we had a basin in the room. The hot tub area was nice, and we enjoyed sitting by the large windows in the evening watching the ever changing sky. The breakfast was probably the most basic of our holiday but it was sufficient. The shared bathroom facilities were okay, and we never had to wait.

This is quite a basic guesthouse, but we didn't have any problems.

Clean rooms and a good breakfast. Rooms have a small fridge. Common spaces are really nice and bathrooms very clean.

Rooms are very small and with no place to put clothes. Some guest were really noisy and annoying during the dinner and afterwards, till 23,00 it was not possible to sleep. However, the staff was really helpful in letting them stop once it was called on the phone.

It was so cute and comfy and everyone was so nice. The breakfast was *delicious*, it made me want to stay an extra day or two, but we had to get going that day. The staff were so kind.

The showers feel quite tiny when you close the curtain, but they were clean and nice! If your claustrophobic though, maybe keep it open and be sure to dry the floor when you're done
