The hotel is operational only in the summer as it is otherwise a dorm for a school. However, the rooms were comfortable for our purposes. The rooms were well cleaned. The bed was quite comfortable. The provided breakfast was very good with lots of typical Icelandic options and choices more familiar to a Canadian. The staff were welcoming. Would recommend this as a relatively affordable option for your summer travels.

Good location, helpful and friendly staff, very clean rooms w/private bathrooms and comfy beds. Good parking area also. N.B. this is a dorm during school season so the rooms are basic with only beds and a desk in them. Facilities/amenities are in shared areas.

Could not connect to the internet via wifi after 23:00 which reception was not able to sort out at the time, but said it unusual.

It is a converted college dorm so not fancy but functional

We were leaving earlier the following morning and were going to miss breakfast but the staff prepared a box with goodies for the long trip to Reykjavik. There is also a restaurant next door, Sauđa, that served us probably the best meal of the entire trip.

Rooms were clean, breakfast options could have been better, probably also have Oatmeal added, but overall good breakfast. Nice location with views to the mountains. Amazing staff who would go out of their way and help you.
