The room was very clean and smelled very nice. It was a small twin room but it was cozy. We appreciated having shampoo and conditioner provided and a good radiator which allowed us to warm up the room to a very comfortable temperature. The room does not have many amenities but there is a common lounge room with hot water, coffee, tea and a big fridge which are provided to all guests. Continental breakfast was served in the hotel's restaurant. It was simple but good, especially the warm bread and cakes. The staff were nice and the check-in / check out process was very easy. The hotel is located right by the main road which makes it very convenient for an overnight stay.

The room was a bit small for the price paid, but I would still recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for only one night but was incredibly pleased with all aspects! Very easy to get to, our room was small but clean and even had some shampoo/conditioner and body wash. There was a TV but we didn't use it. The food was SPECTACULAR!! My husband and I were delighted with our choices, and I have Celiac Disease and the waitress was knowledgeable and asked her boss about dishes I could have. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce and then later for dinner the lamb soup which was a clear broth and some gluten free crackers. We booked this to be closer to our rafting trip and I am so glad we did. Very thankful for the service, food, and cost atmosphere. When we eventually come back to Iceland we will definitely stop here again!

I honestly had no issues with the property or my stay.

When pulling up to the building we were unsure of what we got ourselves into. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the restaurant door to find a room filled with people eating and enjoying themselves. We went to the reception area of the counter and checked in to our rooms, gathered our things and headed up to our rooms. When walking up the stairs there is a sitting area with games, tea, and a refrigerator to store items if needed. The sitting area has a huge picture window with an amazing view of a farm with mountains behind it. The rooms have been updated with a new floor, fresh paint and decor. The mattresses are comfortable, new and clean, the mattress has a clean mattress cover and fresh clean sheets and duvet. The bathroom is smaller, but very clean with shampoo and soap. Make reservation is you plan to eat in the restaurant, it gets very busy. The food is very good and the staff is so kind. We enjoyed the breadsticks, chicken salad and lamb chops. I would highly recommend this location if you need a stop between the two cities.

We don’t have anything bad to say about this property, the rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, food and drinks were so good, and it is in a great location.

The location is convenient and ideal for a stopover during a long journey. Plus, the food at the restaurant was delicious and truly memorable.

The breakfast was not included and required an extra charge, but the food selection was very limited and didn’t meet my expectations. Also, reaching the room required going up stairs, which was inconvenient when carrying luggage.

Good location at a natural rest night point on the ring road. Staff is very friendly, food is good and hearty, rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Nice common lounge for the rooms with a refrigerator and hot water boiler.

The back rooms get some smells from the kitchen and some noise from the kitchen ventilation but clears quickly with the window open.

The room was clean, good bed. Good value for the price. Dinner at the restaurant was surprisingly delicious--probably our best meal in Iceland that wasn't fish.

The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. It was very warm weather when we were there and there was no way to cool the room except to keep the door and window open (probably an infrequent problem).

Kitchen area and lounge where nice and well stocked. Lovely member of staff gave good advice on access to the local butty spot.

Not having an hairdryer was only issue despite guest booklet suggesting they did.

Clean room of a decent size. Easy check in. Provided a good breakfast. Great location but did not hear the highway noise at all while sleeping.

A set of stairs to climb up to the rooms. The restaurant just had fast food type offerings so we had to drive to Sjavarborg Restaurant in Hvammstangi which was delicious.

Perfect place to stop on the ring road. The rooms are fairly basic, but perfect for my needs as a solo traveller. The restaurant is also a hit in the middle of nowhere - as evidenced by the amount of local folk and truckers who cane in to eat.

Nothing! People who like their creature comforts and fancy hotels may want to stop elsewhere, but for everyone else this is perfect.

(It is a warning) I booked a single room, i found a flash red light in the shower head when i was having a shower ,i didn’t know what it was and didn’t ask the owner, but it absolutely is weird thing , i have never ever seen a flash light in shower head ,at least not another hotels in Iceland.
