The staff was phenomenal and they were very attentive to our needs, going out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The breakfast menu was quite extensive which gave us the opportunity to try different options that felt homey and family-like. It's very much worth the value for money. The rooftop has a lovely view over the Taj Mahal.

The room was quite cold due to the (beautiful) marble floors. It took us some time to understand how to use the heater but after that everything was fine. The wifi in the room was not very stable but it was just enough for our needs.

This hotel is ideally located for visiting the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, the Baby Taj, and other sights in the city. Our driver, Babloo, and guide, Muhammad Tariq, were arranged by the hotel. We not only took home incredible impressions and interesting information from the day, but also took some amazing photos. At the chai stand in front of Shanti Manglik Hospital, we even drank the world's best masala chai. The hotel is centrally yet quietly located and has everything you could wish for during your stay. Lunch and dinner are also available upon request. From the roof terrace, you can already see the Taj Mahal.

The hotel is lovely and modern furnished with attentive staff. Everything very clean in the room and outside. Optional dinners are eaten collectively with other guests at very large tables which helps in getting known them. Food is great. The business is family run. The reception will facilitate arranging transportation and guides and they don't push it at all which is great and really gives a tourist breathing space. There is an ATM across the road which is very useful because food and drinks are cash only. There is also a nice roof terrace with the Taj visible in the distance as well as some mid-floor terraces where one can touch down.

Very friendly family/staff. Home cooked food was lovely, actually dinner was amazing. The decor is a bit random but interesting and provides the charm that makes you love the place. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Dining area had a fridge with drinks which you just used and wrote down what you used (trust is so warming) There is a lovely roof terrace on 2 levels, with views across the city, including the Taj Mahal. Properly is close to East gate of the Taj. Wish we had time to have stayed another day!

Bedroom had no external facing windows, but had funky lighting - felt a little odd but wasn’t a problem for us.

The accommodation is lovely sitting on a quiet street off the main road. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to delay our check out by 1 hour to suit our plans. I really enjoyed the family style dinner, it offered great value for money and a real authentic experience in a city where you do need to search amongst tourist traps. The roof top terrace is amazing and the view of the Taj Mahal on the horizon was stunning. You grab drinks from a self service fridge with an honesty system. We had a few kingfisher on the roof in the evening on the swinging egg chairs and it was such a great moment.

I stayed at Aman home stay for 3 nights and I really can’t recommend it enough! It’s honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Aman and Ranjana look after you so well, from arranging airport pick up and drop off to sightseeing and drivers. I had Mohammad as a tour guide who was absolutely amazing he took me to the Taj Mahal and the Agra fort he gave me lots of information that I would not have known without him and he told the story so beautifully I was actually in tears! In the evening we all sat down to dinner with all of the other guests and I got to meet some amazing people from all around the world it was such a fab experience and not to mention the exceptional food which was home cooked and delicious. Along with the beautiful rooftop terrace and amazing view of the Taj I honestly don’t think you will find a better place to stay in Agra. Thank you for an amazing experience you really made me feel welcome and a part of your beautiful family.

There was nothing not to like.

This a family-owned/managed hotel and the overall experience was delightful. We could contact the hotel anytime, they even arranged a last-minute transfer from the train station when we encountered some challenges with Uber and tuk-tuk drivers. It is located in a secure, quiet area, in a space that looks like a backyard consisting of multiple private properties, isolated from the usual noisy streets in India. The overall cleanliness of the facility is sparkling clean, with staff being attentive to hygiene measures (especially regarding food). There is a good breakfast range from continental to Indian options, everything was delicious and served promptly. There is also the option to have dinner which resembles traditional Indian cuisine, is extremely delicious and cooked by one of the family members. There is a nicely decorated rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy the view of the Taj Mahal while relaxing on the cosy sofas. We felt safe and welcomed like in our home here and this made our stay in Agra even more pleasant.

Some rooms have excessive moisture issues, or due to their location within the building, there are no windows. I recommend checking with the staff about your other options if lack of light is a big no-no or if you're staying longer and worrying about moisture. The costs for breakfast, dinner and drinks must be paid in cash. They accept other currencies and this might be an issue for guests who don't have cash usually.

Clean, our family room was large and equipped with fridge, free cookies, water. Water pressure was fantastic and not bugs. We arrived when temps were in the mid 40 degrees but the room was comfortable. Only gripe was none of liked the bed linen- please can you use 100% cotton?!! I also feel the evening dinner or breakfast should be included in the rate, apparently they do this only at certain times of the year. Home cooked dinner was authentic, plentiful and delicious. The overwhelming positive is the staff, incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms are smallish but beds are comfortable and bathroom is a good size with strong shower. Evening vegetarian dinner is tasty. Wifi is strong. Rooftop terrace is a real bonus, very relaxing and a view of the Taj Mahal. You can walk to the latter in 20 minutes.

It's a bit of a trip hazard with all the different and unexpected changes in step levels, there were two such between the lift and our room alone, they need clearly marking. It might be a better idea to serve breakfast buffet style rather than individual order.

Aman Homestay is an absolute treasure. I highly recommend staying here!!! The family is very attentive, accommodating, and provided excellent guidance for food, attractions, and travel. The rooftop and dining/lounge areas were comfortable and felt very luxe. You can see the Taj Mahal at sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The food is fabulous, with dinner served family style and breakfast made to order during a window of time. Drinks are self-serve with an honor log that’s totaled for you at checkout. The area is fun, especially at night, with around the clock access to non-aggressive tuk tuks and taxis outside of the door. The hotel can do currency exchange and arrange for safe drivers. There was an amount of wildlife nearby (birds, monkeys, dogs) but they were not aggressive and didn’t pay us any attention. In the words of our favorite tuk tuk driver, “Aman Homestay are very loving.” I couldn’t agree more. 10/10
