Hotel staff were very friendly. Especially Ms. Kiran at Reception made us feel very comfortable. Complimentary tea/coffee and bottled water was also provided. Our stay also had breakfast included which was as to our taste on both days we tried it. The hotel is situated only 8-9 minutes walking distance from the Golden Temple. We used the hotel car with their driver (Mr Jawahar) for our Wagah border visit which was very convenient and an enjoyable experience.

There are sometimes police checkpoints on the main road and they might not allow uber etc. to go inside the narrow streets of the old city however e-rickshaws can always approach the hotel easily. Also hotel vehicles can be used for airport/station pickup etc.

even though they inform in booking.com they accept credit card payments, they do not accept international credit cards (only indian). had to pay in cash, which I do not have much left, after waiting 45 minutes for a credit card terminal that was supposed to arrive from another hotel but never did

I recently stayed at the Exotic Amritsar for three nights while visiting the Golden Temple, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the temple, making it easy to visit early in the morning. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted us very nicely Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Specially Ms kiran and Mr Lucky were incredible and went beyond the expectations. The chauffeur Mr Sarabjeet was excellent were we had smooth rides to the historical places. They arranged airport pickup and drop facility which was very helpful for us. Throughout our stay, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the staff was always ready to assist with any queries or requests. I felt that the price we paid was very reasonable considering the quality of service and amenities provided. Overall, I highly recommend Exotic Amritsar for anyone visiting the Golden Temple. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Exotica in Amritsar. It’s located just a 5-minute walk from the Darbar Sahib, making it incredibly convenient for early morning or late evening visits. Despite being close to the city center, the hotel is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. A special mention goes to the in-house dining—the food was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious, with both Punjabi classics and lighter options available. Their chilli paneer was wow!! The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, whether it was arranging transport or providing local recommendations. Whether you're visiting for spiritual reasons or sightseeing, Hotel Exotica is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amritsar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was perfect!

A very good, inexpensive hotel just 5 minutes walk to the Temple and many good restaurants.

The location was superb, within 5-7 minutes from the Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh. It is in the walled city so the approach is thru narrow bylanes. The service was exemplary from all the staff .

It doesn’t have a lift/elevator so can be difficult for some people ( senior citizens etc) to walk up the stairs

Short walking distance to the Golden Temple and the Staff were very down to earth and welcoming. Also offer currency exchange at a very good rate so don't purchase from the Airport like I regret doing! Kiran and Lucky are fantastic - sorry I forgot to tip you :-(

Communication prior to travelling could be improved, as I was being contacted by different people via WhatsApp and the booking.com App to confirm airport transfer - please just use one method or person or state your name to make it more personalised. Also, it would have been helpful for someone to explain how to put the hot water on in the bathroom - very important for UK guests.

Fantastic experience staying at Hotel Exotic This was an awesome stay for the price. The receptionist and staff were extremely kind and professional..They even gave us a free upgrade which was so nice of them. Rooms were beautiful and spacious and bathrooms were just awesome. Location is very close to central amritsar (a few minutes walk) from Golden temple and surrounding markets. They also offered us a free and secure parking space inside the hotel premises. Would definitely revisit this place in the future.

Nothing much in specific

It's very near by to Golden temple .. Staff especially Mr . Lucky ji is very helping and always on his feet to serve the guests. Rooms are quiet good and clean . And the lift service is also always operational so it was very convenient for my mom who is a senior citizen.

It's in narrow lane so if taking personal car there every time to take it out and come to hotel is difficult through narrow lane . Last day the water gyeser was not working but Mr Lucky immediately arranged other room for taking bath. Else very happy and memorable stay at Exotic .
