I had a wonderful experience staying at The Lalit Ashok. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. If you're looking to experience true Indian hospitality, this is the place! I highly recommend their OKO Restaurant, where the Thai food was exceptional. The restaurant has a serene and green garden setting, which adds to the peaceful ambiance—something rare to find in the heart of Bangalore. Overall, a great value for money. Would definitely stay again!

Honestly, I didn't find anything to dislike during my stay at The Lalit Ashok. Everything, from the service to the amenities, was well taken care of. I truly had a pleasant and satisfying experience.

It's my second home in Bangalore, I don't know if Mr. Prasana still works there, he's been of a great assistance, Mr . Raghav is there to assist you not just with the luggage but also as your local guidence, Its a let friendly hotel and you'll be delighted to ask for their St. Bernard Mr. Berny, i really Miss Mr. Bhaskar (ex GM) wish he was still here, you'll love how they treat their inhouse doggy , imagine they would be so nice to you ....rest you have to be here to enjoy the peace and serenity.

Literally nothing

The hotel is very impresssive and welcoming with all the facilities that you would need for a longer stay. Unfortunately I was there less than 8 hours and it was really just a bed to stay in. Wish I could have stayed longer

Not a lot a 24 hr fitness centre I did nnot have time to use this. It looked great though from the outside and the pool area was beautiful. Breakfast room quite small for the number of guests and I had to take breakfast on the terrace

Located in a quieter and green area of the city. Large spacious room. Big selection of breakfast items. Poolside restaurant. Decent and respectful staff. Sabitha at the reception was exceptionally good in taking care of all the details. Hotel's own transport service is costly but worth it's price.

Towels need to be a bit more white. The floor manager said that they are working on it.

First and foremost I would like to mention the Greeting guard (Who is popularly known as the moochwala). I appreciate and appraise him for his politeness and ability to connect with customers. I spent most of the time in the reception/lobby area. All the staff are well trained and polite and do not give any wrong information. I would also like to mention the hotel management trainees working at the reception. They were humble and attentive. Overall my experience especially with the staff was astonishing. Also, the food I had ordered in the ground floor bar was phenomenal and so was the service.

Most of the facilities like the elevators and rooms have turned pretty old now and need renovation/replacement. But they have been maintained well nonetheless. And almost every guest who had arrived in a two wheeler was complaining about the parking (including me). If these things are renovated properly I would have no complaints. Another thing they could improve upon is soundproofing of the bars and pubs in order to maintain noise levels across the hotel while hosting robust parties.

Had requested an early check-in, but confirmation hadn't arrived from the hotel until after I checked out. Additionally, the staff in the breakfast hall had left multiple tables uncleared until someone requested them to make some space available.

The 24/7 restaurant buffet was wonderful with friendly staff. We also really enjoyed the couples massage that we had twice! The gym was available and well maintained. The location was quick to everything we needed, and using the Uber app, we were able to get around quite independently. The swimming pool was clean and very refreshing after a day out exploring the city. One evening, we enjoyed the Oko restaurant, and although we ordered way too much food, we both enjoyed the flavours and service. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The only issue with this hotel is the steps between the foyer and the lounge area in the foyer. The tiles are very slippery and similarly coloured, and after a long flight, my husband had quite a nasty fall as he didn't see the steps. We also watched a couple of other people do the same.

The staff was all incredibly kind and offered exceptional service. The grounds of the hotel are pristinely maintained. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a multitude of delicious options.

The rooftop club, which perhaps is under different management from the hotel, was very disorganized. The drinks were low quality but priced as if they were top shelf.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very good. The breakfast was varied and excellent value. Catching an auto from just outside the hotel was very easy.

Aspects of cleanliness could have been better. We were only given some advice on sightseeing on our very last day.

I know it's an heritage 5 star property, one of the landmark 5 star property in Bangalore. Some renovations can done ex bathroom. I thought that dinner we ordered to the room were way too expensive.
