location was great , All the staff are extremely helpful, always with smiles on their faces ..The room was very spacious and cleaned everyday day , the bed was most comfortable king-size bed I've slept in. Get clean towels , toilet paper water everyday in ur room ... The staff gave us a lovely cake as we were leaving saying we will miss you , how lovely was that 😍😍😍😍

Would be bit better in room if they had a few draws , building work going around but you can't help that ...

Fabulous stay We were due to stay for 14 nights but enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay for 31 nights. We had stayed here previously 3 times when it was known as the Prazeres resort. Since then there have been many improvements. The rooms look like premier inn rooms from home. The beds are huge, mattresses big and comfy, flat screen TVs though we couldn't find anything worth watching, lovely walk-in shower and bathroom and balcony with nice views. The staff were superb and extremely hard-working. The pool was big, warm, and inviting. The owner when he showed up was hilarious! However, the pool area for sunbeds has been reduced from 24 to 8 beds. This meant that Sid the superb pool man had to put my bed in a sunny spot every day, which he did. The huge palm trees need to be cut back so that more sun can get through, though I do understand many locals loved the extra shade. Breakfast was yummy, with any style of egg, fruit, and lots of different Indian food including curry. I didn't try the evening meals, but I was told by guests they were delicious. The people in reception were all incredibly helpful. However, at check-in they had no record of me having paid 50% up front or having paid for a breakfast. I had to prove through bank details that I had. This seems to have happened to others as well. Overall though a great visit.

The staff at the Indie stay were superb, friendly, helpful and informative. The pool man was exceptional I'm sorry I didn't get his name. The cleaners done a great job. The Bed was very comfortable and the room a good size The shower was great. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but we hired a scooter so not a problem other than parking outside the hotel which was very congested and we were not allowed to park in the hotel grounds but cars were allow which seemed a bit unfair. The breakfast was o.k, cereal, eggs, juice coffee and Indian food. The pool was very clean and cleaned every evening. The gardens and plants looked amazing.

Parking was an issue if you had a scooter. Not allowed to park in the hotel grounds but if you had a car you could which cars take up 3 times the room of a scooter. Although you could park at the front of the hotel there was very little room and hard to find a space. This is the only fault I had but can easily be addressed

Context - we have travelled to 10 locations in India and look for affordable accommodation, not high end and not backpacker. This was a great hotel because it hit our criteria: air con, comfortable bed, hot powerful shower any time of the day, clean, good pillows and bedding, a fridge, a kettle, a safe, blackout blinds, international power points, a bedside shelf on both sides of the bed with power points. Oh and good wifi as I work whilst travelling. Our room (121) was away from the main building and main road, so it was very quiet at night. The pool is shaded most of the day, but warm enough. There are limited sun beds, I but hardly anyone used them in the 2 weeks we were there, so they were always available. The staff were really helpful and engaged. We liked the location as it is not in the middle of the busyness, but close enough to walk or ride the scooter. If you hire a scooter, there is a great place 40m away Joes Car Rentals. New bikes, at a fair price. If we come back to Candolim, we would be very happy to stay here again.

We were not keen on the breakfast, but that may just be our tastes.

The Indie was a lovely hotel and the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you! We didn’t have the breakfast package but went in for breakfast a few times and used pay as you go.. it was a great opportunity to try some Indian breakfasts as well as usual eggs toast omelette etc it was yummy food and great staff! 😋

Not many sun beds in the sun around the pool.. was a little noisy occasionally on an evening but I guess you get that everywhere!

Clean and very friendly. Pool was always clean and well maintained. Staff were attentive and provided excellent service when requests were made.

Small breakfast choice for Europeans. Hand rails are needed for better access for disabled people to access the pool and to get up and down the steps at the reception area. A non slip matting around the pool is needed to stop people slipping over. A few people slipped on the floor around the pool during my stay.

The location of the property is great as it’s just off the main strip so you don’t hear all the noise. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. Especially Tulsi the manageress, Nilisha and all reception staff, the restaurant manager and his team and the pool attendant. The cleaners are so attentive to anything you need. The rooms are comfortable and English plugs throughout were a bonus. The rooms are clean modern and spacious, exactly like the pictures. The only down side is that the entire hotel has slippy floor tiles throughout and I saw at least 5 people slip badly in 5 different places especially around the pool, reception & walkways. This should really be addressed as I was constantly worrying for my elderly parents (who had also slipped quite badly) the WiFi is touch and go, it’s not too bad. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate. The food is great at breakfast everyday there’s a wide selection but the restaurant is hit and miss. Had some great meals there and some bad. I would definitely recommend, overall… price, location, good pool, cheap drinks, lovely staff etc.. Tahlia.

No lift and really slippy dangerous floors.

Great Location. 5-10 mins walking to the beach. The property is well maintained and clean. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the washrooms are great. Parking is also available. Staff is very courteous and promptly shows up if you need extra towels etc. We enjoyed breakfast everyday during our 3 days of stay. A lot of options for vegetarians with prompt service. Looking forward to booking again on our next goa trip.

Our air conditioning would not turn down in temperature so it was still hot in the rooms at night. The air conditioning unit was also very dusty inside so needs a new filter or good clean to prevent dust causing allergy symptoms.
