Me and my husband stayed at Mushrooms for 1 night before heading to the beaches. Next to airport - cheap £3.50 taxi from the airport (which is going to be overpriced but we did for ease) Evening food until 11 - was fantastic! the meal 10/10! night comfortable in shared 6 person bunk - plugs /light next to bed. Breakfast again this morning 10/10 - chief is really doing something well!

the shower was broken in our dorm - it worked but the handle kept falling off - however we still got a good shower

The location of Mushrooms is perfect! Very peaceful neighborhood. View is amazing from the balcony. The common area is perfectly built to relax, play, eat or talk. Dorm rooms were well maintained. Staff were very helpful and available. The cafe on the ground floor has a simple menu, that covers beverages, snack items, main course and desserts, and the quality is splendid.

Couple of incidents where there was no running water in the bathroom. Just the one drinking water dispenser near the reception.

Coming here in low season, I was the only client of the hostel so I had the dormitory for myself. Room and bathroom were clean. A/C is included, which is super nice given the low price. The cafe serve decent food and international breakfast (not included in the price of the room). Close to the airport so very convenient to catch early flight.

I wish I knew before arriving that I would need to bring my own locker to secure my bag.

Location is great, the guesthouse is spacious outside, comfortable outdoor sitting places. The cleaning lady is friendly.

1 of the 2 guys at reception ( the morning shift guy) was extremely rude. Rude by all means, rude all the time...

Close to airport so used as a base for first night. 24 hr check in as we arrived 3am. Private room with a/c - basic but clean enough. Restaurant on property for breakfast.

It is basic but does the job for a place to crash for a few hours and freshen up!

My stay was booked for two nights before I left Goa for a while. The dormitory room was nice, 3 bunkbeds, ac and fan, warm water as well. I met some awesome people over there. Also you can go have a lunch or a dinner downstairs at their Cafe, not too pricy. Or rent a scooter and go for a ride.

If you pay by cash, they often don't have a change to pay you back right away..but it's like this all over in India, so. I guess it's ok. No female dormitory.

Room is good enough to stay for 3 people.

Staff should come to clean the room dilay without telling them, everytime we need to tell them that please come and clean the room. Otherwise services are good and stay is also good.

Very clean facilities and spacious bathroom with a nice shower in the shared dorm (probably the best seen in hostels). Mattresses are comfortable.

Location-wise it's a bit isolated. Could be a little cheaper.

Staff was polite and friendly.

Not a complaint. A suggestion would be to make the dormitories as capsules. Everyone will get the privacy in that way. Otherwise overall exp was good.

Good Ambience, friendly staff, good food, clean room.

Not enough toiletries. Wifi connection was slow which was a requirement as there was low mobile network coverage.
