The hotel is very comfortably situated - just near the finest and very clean beach. Although it needs insignificant renovation, total atmosphere is charming. Hotel territory is quite big and green. Room is quite spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast is very poor for European minded guests. Lots of Indian food (mainly bread, pankakes, dal and vegetarian curry) is supported only by eggs, bacon a little bit of cheese and sausages. The bed was extremely hard. The staff is not very attentive: several times we asked for cleaning the room and they failed to do it on time. Also there are swarms of crows, which sometimes are very aggressive.

Everyone here is extremely friendly, which makes using all the great facilities an even nicer experience! From morning breakfast with amazing dosas from Prasad, lovingly made pancakes from Trivendra, and a very attentive waiting team, to lunch at Castaway with Vaibhav and the others, drinks at the pool bar, sunset at the beautiful expanse of white sandy beach, and dinner at Carnaval served by Mayank, the whole day at Caravela is pure pleasure. We stayed in one of the villas, which offered plenty of space for our family. The kids loved the comfy beds and sofa to lounge on, the cleaning team was very good, too. We appreciated our morning coffee from the Lavazza coffee maker before heading to the breakfast buffet with a spread of fresh fruit, eggs to order and all kinds of continental and Indian options. We stayed for 5 nights and spent the mornings at the pool which is nice and clean. A short foot path takes you to the beautiful long beach with a restaurant and beach shack (we didn't eat there, see below). The water is shallow so ideal even for smaller kids. We spent hours just playing in the waves, bodyboarding and then watching the sunset. We rented bikes one day as the sand is firm enough to bike on at low tide, but the relatively poor quality of the bikes made it much harder than necessary so our kids didn't enjoy that part. I asked to borrow a yoga mat for myself at the spa for the 5 days we were there, and the staff there again made me feel like there's nothing too much to ask. The kids took part in some of the activities offered by the Children's Activity Center which adds a nice change to their daily routine of pool and beach: paper art, towel origami, scavenger hunt and cupcake decoration were appreciated by kids and parents alike. We had initially booked for a shorter time, Duty Manager Joanna really went above and beyond to make an additional night at the villa possible, which made our life a lot easier.

As in most bigger hotels in Goa, winter is wedding season and we had two separate 2-day wedding celebrations taking place during our stay. While most of the action was somewhere on the sprawl of land between the beach and the hotel and doesn't bother you too much, some parts took place either very close to or on the beach, which meant that the accompanying music / noise makes it a lot harder to enjoy your time there, e.g. have dinner at the beach. We opted to go to one of the other shacks further down the beach to avoid the noise.

I recently stayed at Caravela Resort with my wife, daughter, and parents, and it turned out to be a gratifying experience. The hotel team (Front desk, guest relations, restaurant staff, housekeeping, activity/recreation staff) @Caravela was very accommodating, especially with my parents’ needs, which made things a lot easier for us. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall stay felt relaxed. Breakfast had a nice spread, and we enjoyed it every morning. We also tried a few à la carte lunches and dinners. The food was good. The beach was definitely a highlight, very clean and peaceful, and the resort activities kept things lively too. If you enjoy a proper resort vibe and want a mix of comfort and leisure, I would say this is a great option. Happy to recommend it.

Just a heads-up if you’re at Caravela, taxis are controlled by the local union and cost more, so planning transport in advance or renting a car makes life easier.

It’s spacious and well maintained with huge green areas and clean beach. The architecture gives old world charm. So if your aim is to just relax and enjoy the sea and the greens, it’s great. The staff is well trained , courteous and makes you feel welcome.

It’s meant to be a self contained leisure beach resort and it’s great for that. Don’t expect to find anything nearby or an ideal location to go Goa sightseeing from there. The pre paid taxi services are resisted by the local operators. So, if desiring local sight seeing , be prepared to shell out extra.

The resort itself is in a great location, well maintained, its best suited if you are looking for quiet, relaxing holiday. Private white sandy beach, pool so well laid out for kids and adults to use, there's good options of restaurants within the resort and food is great!! Overall its a was lovely stay for us and we would go back again!

This was the 4th time we were staying at Caravela and it did not disappoint us. The property is fantastic no doubt - but the little things like the room maintenance was great, the taste of the food still remains unchanged and is fabulous, the breakfast spread is something to swoon over! We're so glad that we chose Caravela again - it was a short, but a hassle-free stay! And last but not least - the staff - smiles all the way!! Kudos for upholding your standards through all these years.

Just one little thing - the phone had a foul / unpleasant smell - we experienced it each time we had to speak to someone regarding housekeeping or in room dining. It probably was wiped with an unclean cloth. Also, while you are already aware of it, you still need to do something about this fake .org website that is operating under your name! It's actually maligning your name.

My partner and I recently stayed at Caravela Beach Resort for 5 days and we had an amazing time. We booked Caravela with the intention of relaxing somewhere for 5 days after a busy year working, Caravela delivered and met our every want/need. We booked a seafront room, the view of which overlooks a few holes of the on-premise golf course before stretching out to the beach and ocean. The sun sets (when it is clear enough) facing the balcony, if you are not on the beach watching this then the room/balcony is as good a spot as you could hope for to watch it. The room itself was a good size for two and was clean and comfortable, the king size bed being a highlight too. The ability to order room service 24/7 with a wide and varied menu available during the day and then set menu at night also a great touch. The quality of food also was good overall when sticking to local food. The breakfast and dinner buffets had an array of local dishes and provided an opportunity to try lots of local cuisine. The Castaway and Beach Hut restaurants offered more Western (pizza, Tacos etc) and seafood options respectively. Otherwise it was largely local & Asian food. My partner and I were absolutely fine with this and enjoyed it but eating options may prove limited for those who do not like Indian/Asian food (in which case a trip to India perhaps not a great idea!) The resort facilities are fantastic. We loved the beach with its white sands and warm and clear water. With the beach hut and sunset bar offering food/drinks also located here you have everything you want/need. My partner and I greatly enjoyed sitting on sun loungers with a Kingfisher and soaking up the sun whilst watching the waves roll in. They offered towels and had constant security presence which ensured privacy and comfort. Ankit working in the beach hut also was superb in ensuring we were catered for, even going out of his way with a couple of unorthodox requests we had.

This is my third time in this resort. The last time i stayed was in 2019 In Comparison to my previous stays ,i found everything the same. Food , comfort, swimming pool, beach side experience everything was absolutely good as before.

I felt that the resort is under staffed, especially the restaurant staff. Though they were very courteous but most of the times they looked overworked and were very very slow in serving. For eg. If we ask for a glass of water they take atleast 10 minutes to bring the water. During lunch and dinner Starters arrived after the main course ( my personal experience). The dining area can be made little bigger to avoid standing for breakfast. House keeping service is again good but slow probably because they have less people. These things can be improved otherwise everything is very good.

This resort truly exceeded my expectations. Every interaction with the staff—from arrival to departure—was impeccable, marked by courtesy and respect, Kudos to the staff. The resort itself is beautifully designed and exceptionally well maintained, with virtually no service issues. Highlights like the massive pool, sunset deck, and pristine beach area made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely return

We didn’t face many issues during our stay, apart from one minor inconvenience—our room phone kept auto-ringing a few times, including once in the middle of the night.

This was our second time to Caravela after 7 years and it didn’t disappoint. We had a good reunion with our college friends including our kids. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed the numerous kids activities and we did not feel the need to step outside the hotel. The staff at kids club were really good and we felt safe to leave kids at club while we enjoyed other activities. The chef and staff took special care of 17 month infant travelling with us. Special shout out to Balarin from Coffee Shop who was always warm, hospitable and helped us with special dish preparations. Also want to call out Derrick who specially arranged a photo shoot for our reunion group; he made sure to make it memorable for us! Thank you to Deepak as well for the Golf lessons!!
