Breakfast and food

Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good, room cleaning was done regularly, facilities like swimming pool were good, location was better than expected as we could walk to the beach, part of the property faced the river, super market and shops were also walking distance from the resort

We booked a room rather than independent villas and while it was comfortable, it was not very well maintained. The bedside tables needed some fixing and the fridge needed to be defrosted.

The place is ideal for relaxation. Very peaceful. The ambience is just superb. The Manager, Mr Vincent was really helpful and he even extended our stay by an hour. We took a tour around the place and were amazed to see the cottages having different concepts of display. The breakfast was just delicious. Even the swimming pool was well maintained. The support staff were doing their jobs well. I also noticed the Gardener’s trimming the plants and keeping the place clean.

There were some rain flies in the bathroom which did not trouble us as we kept the bathroom door shut. A suggestion to fix a fine gauze so that the rain flies don’t enter.

Breakfast was good. The location was excellent. The villas are worth satying. Staff was very helpful and even guided for the locations to visit.

Wifi connectivity was not available for quite sometime

Independent villa is the best place to stay. U will feel like home for sure. Access to cooking utensils and full fledged kitchen will help you prepare ur own coffee, tea, and baby food. Which eased off lot of worries as we travelled with our toddler. Enjoyed everybit of it.

Bed were comfortable. But it could have been better if they would have provided a double bed instead of providing 2 single bed. One king size bed would have been more comfortable.

3 minute walk to the beach, the beach is really great with only 4-5 restaurants on it, so not crowded and very comfortable! Regarding the hotel: comfortable beds, wifi, good water pressure in the shower

Not all rooms are the same, make sure you get a one like the one you actually booked

Ms Dalia and Mr Jaison are one of the reasons for our second visit to Shikara. Their dedication toward their work, always ready to help and welcoming nature makes our stay even better.

Amazing location. Walking distance to the beach. Good breakfast options and that too different buffet everyday!. The room sizes are amazingly huge. Very comfortable. Bathrooms are big and clean. Balcony is attached. Amazing stay.

Cleanliness could be better a bit but not a concern

Breakfast was best.there were so many options.best part for me was I sat with a cup of tea and enjoyed the rain and the sea view from the first floor where there serve breakfast

It would be better if there were river facing rooms
