All staff in restaurant area were very attentive to our needs. Especially the evening Staff especially Susheena. Housekeeping staff that looked after us were always asking us if we needed any extra towels or items in our room. This was very welcome and appreciated.

The property is a little run down in their rooms could do with some fresh paint and newer Manchester . The dark black tiles on the stairwell to the rooms need lights on the tiles as fall risk due to lack of light and no step depth indicated . Most of the Reception staff were nice. However,There was one young lady who after telling us our options for a transfer and we decided to take the dearer option as it suited us better, being the mode of transportation,she became rather unkind telling my wife she could buy diamonds ears rings for the money we were spending !! When a customer makes a decision it is not the role of the staff to question it !!!!

I have stayed before, so I knew what to expect. The location is exactly perfect for me, though others may have different opinions, and it represented excellent value for money. The staff were charming. My room had a nice balcony, though it looked over the back of the hotel. Rooms on the other side of the corridor have a lovely view over open countryside. They were just having a revamp of their WiFi provision, but still, it worked. The grounds are small but delightful, and it had a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere.

The corridors are a little dark and dingy, but it is what it is and they are stuck with that. To a non-veg Englishman, the breakfasts are a little limiting, but the food is a buffet so plenty of it, and it is all OK.

Our stay at Fortune Resort Benaulim was exceptional. The breakfast spread, the shuttle service to the beach and the spacious rooms exceeded our expectations. We also got 15% discount on food and beverages. The reception staff were efficient and the restaurant staff and the chief chef was constantly taking feedback and making earnest efforts to fulfil our requests. The lush garden around the open air restaurant is splendid. The hotel gave us very good internal and external cab options to choose from for sightseeing and airport drop. The swimming pool is lovely.

The staff were very helpful from the moment we checked in until check out. Samvir, Sushma, Prafful, Khan and the housekeeping staff were very prompt and courteous, which is what made our stay memorable as we had travelled as a family and had booked 3 rooms. Besides that the rooms and facilities were good too, however, due to the weather, we weren't able to utilise any of the facilities. The food was great too and yet again the staff at the Zodiac restaurant were very helpful and took time to get to know us and understand our preferences. So overall this was a great experience.

The mattress needs to be a bit firm. Besides that nothing negative to report.

Overall stay was excellent. The hotel rooms, public areas, swimming pool was clean and maintained upto good standards. The Ala carté food was really good but the buffet could be improved further. The mattress in room G03 needs to changed as it was very soft and uncomfortable. The staff Carlton, Vandana, Siraj and the lady who checked us out were outstanding.

Honest review: We were upgraded to a new room as we booked Chalets. The room was neat & clean! Bathrooms and linens are nice and clean. Some sections of the room had to be cleaned as I saw a small spiderweb on the top of the room. The staff is friendly but may need a bit of organising skills. They delayed our room for more than 15 mins while guests who checked in after us were given rooms immediately. The reception was chaos as the people there were themselves confused. We asked for checkout and a trainee girl came to take the luggage for us - I feel I was more stronger than her to take the luggage hence I pulled it out myself and did.

There was a wedding that was happening in the resort. The staff was so engaged in these guests that they forgot others were there. The DJ was so loud that the window pane started vibrating. There was no one to help us put the luggage out during check-out as we genuinely needed help - 2 people vs 6 bags and Laptop bags. No one seemed to care during checkout as everyone was busy attending and working on the wedding. Its a good walk to the beach so the location is close to the beach but amenities-wise, it was nothing. Their restaurant was decent and had nice food for breakfast, but the cafe was closed, the games room was being painted & swimming pool was the only existing amenity they had.

Lovely well appointed hotel, spacious entrance lobby, lift, room had a balcony overlooking the well maintained pool. Our room had a large walk in shower and basin with plenty of space for personal belongings. Breakfast was in the Zodiac Restaurant which was a short stroll across the garden. The restaurant opened onto the garden , was clean and spacious. Breakfast had lots of choice and eggs were freshly cooked for each customer.

We would have liked more drawers for our clothes.

The ambience, rooms, food, service was good. The staff were very good and polite. Although there are certain exceptions all over but overall it was a comfortable and a good stay.

The recreational room was not maintained well. More options for kids should be added as mostly there are families who travel with small kids. Also, the quantity of food when compared with the price was less.

Room was spacious. I was travelling with my 5year old kid so he had ample of space to play and to be kept occupied. The breakfast spread was amazing even when we were travelling during the weekdays. Staff is very courteous except the bike incharge person

The person responsible for arranding bikes or rental cars is not veru cooperative. Hotel should have their rented bikes made available as there is no closest bike rental service in Benaulim. You have to travel almost 3-4 kms for rental bikes.

Food service and premises

All good however hotel premises to beach distance is quite long. Though you provide free transfer if a vehicle is available however the issue is while coming back from the beach. The road is remote with lots of street dogs chasing so it is difficult to walk back with children. Suggest to keep electric auto rickshaw for it.
