Well maintained resort in a good location by the beach, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well furnished.

Hotel had also been booked by a marriage party which created lot of noise and also seemed to have influenced the buffet menu for all the guests. The dining of the marriage party should have been arranged for separately. There should have been some check on the celebrations as the marriage ceremony caused lot of littering on the beach which was left as such leading to environmental damage.

Amazing location in south goa. 30 min ride from GOI. The resort was directly at the beach with an access from the back of the hotel premises. The rooms were exactly as described. Also clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing with buffet and ala carte everything tasted amazing. The stuff was very attentive and accommodating, remembering your preference even though I only stayed a couple of days. Minibar and room service was very reasonable priced and super fast. They were also super helpful in organizing trips within Goa and helped with good suggestions. Every member of the team was friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot for the amazing stay.

The staff were super friendly, both at the reception and restaurant The room was large and very comfortable. It was amazing, and highly needed after a intense but amazing trip through india.

As a solo female traveling alone, i was harassed quite a lot at the beach, by local vendors. It would be nice if the hotel had a couple of deck chairs for their guests - so that they can leave beach towels and not get harassed. I was not able to relax as much as i wanted to on the beach, which is a massive shame.

Soumen from Cosmos restaurant provided excellent service. He proactively gave good suggestions and was always attending to us inspite of the rush at the restaurant. He was very polite and gave us excellent attention and was always willing to help. He also gave us complimentary Bibinca for tasting. He really exceeded all our expectations and I will give him full rating. Sam the chef was also very friendly and checked on us and gave good suggestions. Such conversations and relationship building increases the loyalty value of a hotel. The front desk staff was also very prompt and courteous.

It was my first time in Goa, and I traveled there alone. The very friendly and professional team of the hotel made my stay perfect. They paid attention in case I needed something, and they asked for daily feedback. The daily tasty buffet for breakfast and dinner was accompanied by live music. The spa services were also very nice and professional. The nearest beach is just in the backyard of the hotel - walking in the garden and going out from the hotel property, and you are on the Utorda beach directly. I'm immensely grateful to the hotel staff for making me feel so comfortable throughout my stay. Special thanks to Soumen, Leane, Josefen, Vijay, Akshay, Betty, Shridhar, and Jasmon for their outstanding hospitality and care. Their efforts truly made my Goa experience unforgettable.

Swimming pool is not big and deep enough. It is more for people who can not swim and for the kids.

Although it didn't really dampen the experience, the rooms and facilities could do with a little maintenance. Some of the advertised information on the hotel website and booking.com is not updated or not accurate, for example, there's only 1 restaurant and not 4, karaoke, kids activities and other events are available only on advance group bookings, etc.

Great location with direct access to beach. Lush green gardens, clean pool and kids' activites, delicious food and a very friendly staff. Would like to specially mention about Ms. Isha & Ms. Kily who've been extremely helpful and friendly in taking care and attending to our needs

Rooms are very compact including the bathroom which is too small. There's barely any space to walk around however we could manage as we were busy most of time with outdoor activities

The property looks so much better in reality, in comparison to the pictures posted on its profile here. It's children's friendly, with a number of facilities to provide for the entertainment of young guests. Proximity to the beach is a great comfort. Staff was friendly and supportive, going the extra mile to provide for the comfort of the guests. Special regards to the restaurant section - food and service were very good, with special attention to children's needs.

Royal Orchid Resort & Spa, an excellent hotel with wonderful staff and facilities, breakfast was superb and the staff were friendly and the Coffee bar made an excellent Latte. The room was superb value for the price and I can not fault the room it had everything, including a nice mini bar for kate night Movies lol, hopefully in the future we will return with our grandchildren as the pool, gardens and activities would be great for us all, well done to all at Royal Orchid
