The Diwa club is situated within the Alila property and gives you exclusive access to a pool while allowing access also to everything else in Alila. The rooms were large and comfortable. The property is well maintained and the gym and the spa are great. The hotel is not situated on the beach - it’s a short ten minute walk or a 5 min buggy ride away. Overall we loved the service and would recommend Alila to those looking for a place in this part of Goa

Minor niggles only. We thought the house keeping was inconsistent and one of rooms was not properly cleaned. We also left behind an item by the poolside, and despite letting the staff know a couple of times, no one got back to us about it. Breakfast at the main restaurant gets busy, and so we enjoyed eating at the smaller restaurant at Diwa which offered the same menu but a longer more relaxed vibe.

An amazing oasis of several buildings, pools, restaurants, fountains, palms and tropical gardens. Excellent for familes. Stunning views from the pool to the rice fields, postcard settings after the sunset. The restaurants cook excellent quality dishes - a la carte and this was almost a Michelin level. Spacious room with huge bathroom. All the people extremly kind. Amazing value for money. We were happy we went to Goa to this place.

The beach is not just next to the hotel, but few hundred meters away. The little shutlle bus will get you there in a minute anytime. However, the services on the beach are weak (not related to the hotel), so we more or less returned to the luxury of the hotel to eat or relax.

1. Superb level of service by the staff. The most personal service I have experienced in any hotel in Goa. Service at another level altogether. 2. The concept of anytime Breakfast 7am-7pm! This is the real differentiator.

1. The fact that the Beach is not attached to the property. But that is nothing the Hotel can do something about. That is a geographical constraint. They do however provide free Beach drop service between 7am-7pm. This should stretch longer into the evening to cover dinner at the beach time for guests, so that guests can get drop off to the hotel till much later at night. 2. Mosquitos in the Bistro restaurant. They should have some sort of netting which should be used in the evenings to keep the mosquitoes out at dinner time.

Beautiful rooms in the Diwa Club section. Lovely breakfasts in the Bistro. Fabulous staff throughout. Great service from all but wanted to call out Raju as being very engaging and super helpful. Lovely big pools at both parts of the hotel. Gym has decent equipment. The Spice Studio food was exceptional. Great sundowner hour and chai pani hour for guests at Diwa Club.

Nothing really not to like. There's a lovely beach within a 12 min walk if you want a change of scenery and several local restaurants nearby if you want to step out.

More hotels should follow the lead of The Diwa Club and offer all day breakfasts, and sundowners. These things just absolutely elevate the whole vacation vibe. The resort itself is stunning, with lush landscaping, elegant architecture, and a peaceful ambiance that allowed us to fully unwind. We especially loved the exclusive pool area at The Diwa Club, which offered a quieter, more private setting, ideal for families seeking a tranquil retreat. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the personalised service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and they took the time to get to know our preferences, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Small, thoughtful touches made each day special—whether it was the little surprises in the room or the staff’s friendly greetings and readiness to assist.

There is nothing to not like. If I was to nitpick, I would say the beach shuttle could be better organised during rush hours. But It was at best a relatively minor and trivial inconvenience.

The amazing beach, stunningly beautiful hotel grounds, early check-in option, huge bathroom with great amenities, excellent swimming pools, all-day breakfast option.

The contract-like waiver form that I was asked to sign prior to a spa treatment (I ended up cancelling my spa treatment), lack of mosquito nets and screens or repellent in the hotel room, slow service (with very few exceptions) at the restaurants, food options not reflecting 5* standards, pool cleaning activities - including the installation of a noisy pump - outside the hotel rooms at around midnight.

Alila Diva is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. Complete peace, relaxation, silence and only the sounds of nature, wonderful food, attentive, polite, guessing your desires staff - all this is Alila. We lived in the Diva building and it has its own restaurant, where breakfast is served from 7-00 am to 7-00 pm. At 16-00 you will be waiting for Indian appetizers, and at 18-00 cocktails. Every minute here is a pleasure. I love this place. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Alila Diva is amazing! Alila Diva is perfect!

The breakfast was amazing and the variety was quiet good. I liked the concept of Chai pani and enjoyed the drinks and snacks at Sundowners. The staff were always very attentive and they couldn't do more for making customers feel happy. The friendly and attentive staff were my favorite part of the stay!

Some of the facilities (the ladies toilet by the Bistro) looked a bit tired and need updating. Would be good to have a couple of options for Chai Pani. We stayed for 6 nights and very day it was same snacks offered at Chai pani which got a bit boring after the first couple of times. But none the less these are very minor points and I'm only mentioning it as a suggestion rather than a complain. The staff are truly amazing and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Definitely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay which was a family reunion. The facilities were really nice, the rooms spacious and comfortable, We loved both pools and the massage team was very good too. We spent a lot of time in the Bistro restaurant and we have to single out the manager, Sourav Gupta, who really delivered exceptional service for our group spanning a few generations and which had many requests and he managed to satisfy all of them with a smile.

The property is amidst nature and follow the eco friendly ways of operations. Beach was walking distance and the place was very peaceful and calm. The facility provides everything which one need to relax, rejuvenate and spend time with nature. The staff was good and courteous to cater to one’s needs. The breakfast buffet was so authentic and tasty with multiple options to try from their vast options. Overall a very pleasant experience and would go back to this place again.

The location is quite far from the city centre.
