At the very outset, I must point out that this hotel is a newby, opened its doors on October 1, 2023. So do not expect 5-star facilities and amenities. But despite being in service for such a short time, we were pleasantly surprised. All in all, we had a good time! The staff! Always ready to help. Always smiling. No false promises. They let you know if they cannot tend to any of your requests. I loved that! Special mentions: 1) Binod Subba - The man who went out of his way to make us feel at home. I had long chats with him on so many subjects! 2) Smriti Thapa - The lady at the front desk. She was the one who received us with a shy smile. Her first job and she is doing great! 3) Prem Sherpa - The one who takes care of problems. Young, intelligent, and strong, he also does the heavy lifting when you are too tired to carry your baggage. Rooms: We booked the "King Room with Mountain View". You can see the sun go up and its rays illuminate the Himalayas (a corner view though). The bed is cozy, the bed warmer makes it cozier. They provided extra blankets, just in case you need them. Ample lighting, both natural and artificial. The room has a TV (never turned it on). The wardrobe space is sufficient for a logical packer. Space wise, the room is just about sufficient. The bathroom is small but clean. Safety: As the hotel is located right on the mall, safety never seemed like an issue. The area is bustling with activity. Even if you party late (until 11 p.m.), you won't feel unsafe while walking back to the hotel. Food & Drinks: We had the breakfast, which was complimentary. They change the items everyday. Five to six items served. Mix of Indian and western. We advise guests not to waste food. Binod Subba would ensure you never miss out on hot cuppas. Cars are not allowed inside the mall. So you will have to walk about two minutes to reach the hotel from Bhanu Bhawan. This keeps the mall pollution-free! We advise guests to travel light.

The water heater/geyser takes a long long time to heat. No hot water in the wash basin. That was a cold bummer! However, we advise guests not to waste water and electricity unnecessarily. The hotel should install automatic locks on the doors. Currently, you have to manually lock/unlock the door with your room keys. The staff never leaves the floors unsupervised. So someone is always on the watchout. For senior citizens, walking from Bhanu Bhawan to the hotel may seem like a challenge. But fret not, Prem Sherpa will be there to carry your luggage.

The location is fantastic. Right on the Mall. The view from the bedroom window is of the Himalayas. On a clear day. It was fantastic. The property is very clean. The breakfasts are very varied. A special thanks goes to Binot who made our stay extra special. He is a lovely man.

We asked for dry towels, but didn't get them. 5 days with the same towels that wouldn't dry. We were told to hand our key in for the room to be cleaned . All they did was make the bed, even though we had specifically asked for clean dry towels. Told upon arrival that the booking had been canceled. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly.

All the staves are very well behaved and polite.At reception you meet Smriti and Prem who are very polite and supportive in nature.In the mornings at breakfast you meet Mr. Binod ,who is an all-rounder in himself, from giving you your delicious breakfast to arranging for your cabs for tours and transfers he helps with everything.And not to forget the location and the view from the rooms,the location is at Chowrasta,very close to famous Mall Road.The rooms are quite comfy and very clean.Overall a very happy and comfortable stay.

The hotel's location was its standout feature, surpassing my expectations during my stay with my child. I had initial concerns, but the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, along with the availability of a geyser for hot water, were particularly impressive. Vijay was extremely helpful to us throughout our time at the hotel.

I don't have any specific complaints. I consider myself fortunate to have discovered this hotel independently.

This aspect is beyond the hotels control whereby transport is not allowed to come to the hotel whereby those that are elderly or disabled have to walk but the compensation is the views and location

Great place, best location right in the center. De lux rooms have great views on a clear day. Friendly staff and Binod especially who was very helpful in every way, even took time to guide me to places l never would have found otherwise. And a big plus was the heating sheets in the beds because the rooms have no heaters. Can be quite cold in winter .
