Room was very nice and close to the ford which is a great place to hang out for eating and shopping. We also did the safari overnight tour with was fantastic. Luxury drive to the dessert, camel ride and visiting a local village, then the local guide cooked for us in the dunes and we slept outside under the stars. Next morning after breakfast we did a dune bashing jeep ride before returning to Jaisalmer, a great experience. We also were able to keep our room as it is still low season so overall a very good stay here in Jaisalmer.

The Bathroom was always clean. Even when i was the only one staying in the dorm,the ac was always kept on in the room. Safety was given priority as dedicated lockers were provided.

The moment i reached i was kept on asing if i would take the desert safari from the dorm itself. I felt like i was forced to take package. This happened with the other guys also. Due to me not taking the package at first, when i asked for breakfast i was not not even heared once.

Loved the heritagestyle decorated rooms which give you a feeling and the vibe of real India and the golden city. The location is near to the Fort which was very convenient as we prefer to walk by feet to explore the city everywhere we go. The reception was so kind to organise a taxi for us for the Sights outside of the city so we could explore the haunted Ghost Village, Oasis and the Royal chatri. Morning breakfast on the Roof gets served with a bright smile of the waiter Rabhan who quickly remembers your favourite choice of food and gives good recommendation of local specialities. The breathtaking view of the Fort by sunsettime was one of our main highlights in the city and at this hotel, you can see the sunset and afterglow with the fortsilhouette from their rooftop and enjoy your drinks while be captured of the moment. Overall absolutely loved the stay, friendly and kind behaviour of staff and all their efforts. Thanks AAMDU

I LOVED

Centrally located near the fort and bus stop. Nice eating options near by. Cool view of the fort, surrounding city and the desert from the roof top. Well maintained roof top. Helpful and understanding staff.

I stayed in the dorm which did not have attached bathroom and had to use the common washroom. Common washroom commode was very very dirty. Shower head was dysfunctional. The dorm room had no ventilation whatsoever. Wifi coverage in the property was poor. The property was more like hotel and not hostel. Staff were commercial and business like in their approach, even though polite.

Only negative is hot water and power sometimes cut out.

Aiysal Khan was very helpful did everything he could to help. He did tell me to say that but genuinely they were all very nice to us. We stayed 3 nights with 3 children and grandma and we had a lovely room for my partner and I and the 3 kids with 2 massive beds and another room for grandma. It was clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the fort from the roof terrace where we got chips and pancakes and relaxed. Abu who owns the place is a very funny character and could sort out anything for you. Highly recommend!

Watch out drivers always take you to the wrong place next to the fort Abu safari is 5 min walk down the hill from here.

My stay at Abu Safari was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. The swimming pool was a refreshing retreat, perfect for cooling off after a day of desert exploration. Speaking of which, the desert safari they offered was hands down the highlight of my trip. It was well-organized and filled with thrilling moments I'll never forget. As for the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by their size and comfort. I honestly didn't expect such quality for the price. They seem to take great pride in his establishment, and it definitely shows. It was a grand hotel, definitely not what I expected for the kind of money I paid. The place looks like a grand haveli, and has a great view of the fort. Overall, Abu Safari provided a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a cozy spot with friendly staff and unforgettable adventures, this is the place to be.

The hotel is close to the fort. A good range of eateries nearby. Our room had some nice features and was very comfortable. The staff responded every time we needed something, and they were friendly. We would be happy to stay again.

The directions given in booking.com were not accurate, and we had to phone. This is because the hotel has recently moved closer to the fort.

The staff is really fantastic and always helpful and friendly, for every request. The rooms are large and comfortable and the terrace, where an excellent breakfast is served, is wonderful, with a view of the Jaisalmer fort. Abu (AKA Chapati Man) is an incredibly nice guy with great charisma. Absolutely the best place to stay in Jaisalmer if you want to make friends with locals and if you want to be in close contact with the local culture. Incredible value for money. Thank you Chapati Man!

I recommend a better management of the shuttle service from the train station to the hostel.
