It was a much needed pampering weekend and Tamara stood by the promise. A shout out to Dr.Sunitha who took care of us, also very humble and polite Inspite of being a doctor herself! We came across 2 waiters whontreated us so well and need a special mention..Mr Sourabh and Mr Bishu. They made us feel at home, asking us to taste their Specialities/desserts even after we said we were full, just like how mom/friends would ask...n we gave in too :) apart from the mentions, each n every staff including the last staff at the fag exit waved at us when leaving.....makes you to wana come back:) Thank you Tamara...top notch hospitalilty

I dint like leaving the place

The place is heaven on earth! The view from our cottage, to hear the chirping of birds in the morning and breath in the fresh air was out of this world! The staff are so helpful, they really pamper you! The design of the resort is world class and the amenties are wonderful.

The lighting in the room can be better distributed and brighter... it was dark in the bedroom of our suite. The route outside can also be better illuminated since one needs to walk to the restaurant at night. Also, there was an open event held one night with loud music and singing upto 11 pm in the night. This disturbs not only the residents but also the birds. This is not sustainable! The resort should not permit such events in the open... only inside a closed room.

The property is heavenly. We felt cozy in the lap of luxury while admist pristine nature. The cottages were spacious and gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the forest area & mountains from the wooden deck. Special mention has to be made of the entire staff both at reception and dining facility. Sarvani, the relationship manager, ensured with great care and hospitality that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and this left a good impression on my aged mother, a senior citizen. Further, every staff member at the dining facility was exceptionally warm, courteous and professional and it was always service with a smile ! I am only sorry that i did not register all their names well ( one name Bishu comes to mind!) I want to commend the head chef Anand for particularly paying attention to our dietary concerns due to some health issues we had and tailoring dishes with care and delicacy to make our experience a truly satisfying one. I cannot stress enough how all this has made it overall a memorable experience for me and my mom at Tamara Coorg.

There was nothing that i didn't like.

The property was beautiful and the cottages were spacious, excellent and had all the facilities one would wish for in a 5* facility. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The activities were excellent and in keeping with the resort’s objectives. The plantation tour was very good followed by the Bloom to Brew activity . The person who conducted this was excellent t and he knew what he was speaking. The food was exceptional though a bit pricey. Great initiative by the founders and well worth stay and visit.

Very well maintained and serene property. You are spend a lot of time in nature. And they have many different activities that you can participate. So you wont het bored ! Staff is super friendly and very much available for practically all requests you have.

The transportation support we took from the property was not that great ! We expected a better service with charges expected. You can do better here

I loved the nature and the harmony of the hotel with the nature. The staff were really supportive, I would like to name of them in the restaurant, Sohrab, who was very polite and supportive.

booking experience was horrible. They called me many times to make the advanced payment, while booking.com has the free cancellation policy and after that the full ammount will be deducted from credit card. Beside, i beleive more free yoga and long trekking should be available.

I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. the water supplied at the property is filtered RO water, as a westerner who isn't used to RO water it was tough to order water so try to bring as much as you can if you don't like Ro water

The hotel is a series of chalets all positioned to enjoy the lush vegetation and plantation views. Quite possibly the best hotel room we have stayed in with a lovely balcony and well designed spacious room designed to max the views from your bed. Staff brilliant and must give a special mention to Ashweth for his informative morning walk. The restaurant was also excellent. There is nothing to fault about this place.

That we were there for only one day. Would have loved to have 2 or 3 days, but we had set up an itinerary that did not give flexibility.

The hospitality was great and every people whom we saw welcomed as and never experienced such a great service. Food is also good and if you are a person to enjoy the activities then this is the best place. The buggy is helpful for elderly people. Tamara has to look after their employees who are the asset.

Only thing is the last 4 km road to reach the hotel is too small but the security out there did a very good job.
