It's a fantastic, treasure of a hotel . I first visited Udaipur in 2017, falling in love with the temple. To be able to stay opposite in this wonderful hotel was a great experience. I enjoyed my breakfast looking at the temple in the sunshine and my evening meal with the temple lit up . Room perfect for me and kindly gave me a kettle for my morning coffee . The best bed , quilt and Pillows ever . I stayed 6 days and I've been so happy here. It's such a wonderful location Was able to get my laundry done as well . Restaurant staff a so friendly and helpful

Some of the best service and support I've ever experienced from any hotel in the world. It's a similar level to what I would expect from 4/5 star hotels in Europe or Dubai. Whatever we needed, they helped us and arranged it, even if it was difficult or not something normal. The location is central and perfect for exploring Udaipur. The restaurant is a beautiful place with safe, delicious and well priced food with friendly staff. They serve beer, and when traveling can be too much, this restaurant is the best safe space to return to for good, reliable food, a calm atmosphere and a nice view. The room was cosy and classical. We got it at a discounted rate, but even the full rate is an amazing value. I recommend the deluxe room. If I come back I will pick that. We had the standard, it was clean and nice but deluxe has even more space.

I chose this hotel thoroughly according to my habits and desires. And I was satisfied with the fact that it is located on the square of the old city opposite the main temple, where there is endless bustle, the movement of bikes and tookers. But! It is here that you will feel the authenticity of Udaipur. Moreover, the interior architecture is like in an old fairy tale. And 5 minutes from the ghat, where the newlyweds arrange sessions. Everything is nearby - food, fruits, shops. Cows, of course. Who didn't get into cow manure, he wasn't in India)) and even the wine store, which has Kingfisher beer and Old monk rum. The staff will always solve your problem.

Beautiful lobby, excellent location in center of historic city (taxis cannot enter, however, because of narrow roads; auto rickshaws yes), two blocks from City Palace, four blocks from nearest lake Pachoka ghat, spacious rooms.

We had some problems with water. Our sink leaked onto the floor and one evening we had a water leak through the ceiling from above. The staff were friendly but not quite as service oriented as other hotels we have stayed.

To start with I would like to mention about the wonderful location they are situated just in front of Jagdish temple having fabulous view of City palace, Temple, Sajjangarh and the markets famous in Old city. The rooms were not only spacious and tastefully decorated but also immaculately clean. Highlight of my stay is their Rooftop Mayur cafe which serves a delectable local and International dishes, They informed us that they are also coming up with new rooftop lounge above Mayur cafe which will serve amazing Cocktails, Mocktails and yummy food. Worth a place to visit.

Location is central and the place is very authentically beautiful. We had a good time! Hotel rooftop restaurant was beautiful with lovely view. We only had a breakfast (and it took a long time) but it was good.

Tap was REALLY dripping (more than tripping, like running) and we asked twice if they could fix it, but it was not fixed. AC also leaked water to the floor

Very clean and beautifully decorated place with a wonderful rooftop where you’ll eat breakfast. Our room was large and beautiful with a great view of the temple. It is so central but quiet enough to relax a bit. Yummy prefix breakfast.

The towels were dirty or appeared so at least (this is something we ran into all over India… very strange that no one uses bleach?) They won’t accept card which was a bit inconvenient and unexpected. Otherwise a pretty great stay and good value for money.

Awesome experience and beautiful ambience with royal touch at Hotel Baba Palace. I would like to share my views -Rooms are ventilated & spacious with a beautiful view. -Tourist spots are very near like Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Lake Pichola are opposite to the hotel. -Pure veg delicious & yummy food, RoofTop restaurant and also very hygienic. -All major attractions are nearby distance. -Staff was cooperative and made us feels welcome to the hotel.

At last a hotel with a lift ,no more trudging up flights of stairs. Good WIFI, clean, TV (not used),helpful staff, usual rooftop balcony and restaurant,I recommend the Indian breakfast for value). Location at an intersection opposite a busy temple ergo a degree of noise, close to palace and museums. Only problem I did not seem to be able to get hot warter in the shower possibly my room or possibly myself. Overall good value and recommended.

Even if the hotel is not in front of the lake, you have fantastic views of the main temple. It might be a bit noisy when the street gets really busy but it is very nice to have that atmosphere when you are having breakfast or food. Facilities are fine, nothing fancy but good enough to give you a good sleep and recover.
