The rooftop is really nice and the hostel is peaceful. It has a good location close to the royal palace and there are a lot of shops around where you can buy some memories. I really appreciate the food of the hostel as well !

The wifi wasn't really good

Honestly, one of the best hostels I've ever been to, the place is beautiful. Perfectly located, plants and paintings everywhere with a great veiw and vibe. The staff are amazing!! They have become like family during my stay, especially Waris who makes every trip a spectacle and has more charisma than Hollywood. And Shikir is also great fun, full of character and charm and makes sure all the guests are having a good time and engaged. This is true of all the staff but these two guys are the ones I know the best. The excursions are well priced and take you to places you couldn't get to on your own. It's honestly a great hostel. I came for four nights and stayed for nearly three weeks.

Nothing

Of course the rooftop, the sunrise tour was awesome, the mattresses are comfortable, hot showers, free masala chai everyday for sunset. Despite some small annoying things, I met incredible people at this hostel, that usually says something about the place and makes the little things matter less! The staff do work very hard and are all lovely.

Flamingo room is too small and was really hot for one night because no one knew the room had AC. Staff could be more helpful and informative at times. Bunk beds are creaky, any time the person above me moved the whole bed shook.

Really nice place with exceptional views over the lake.Staff were very good and obliging food was ok and bar reasonable price.

I don’t like people sleeping on floor around property.I don’t like people talking outside my bedroom at 2.30 in the morning.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Dreamyard Hostel! The stunning lake view paired with the mesmerizing sunsets made every evening unforgettable. The food was delicious, with a variety of options that satisfied every craving. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible atmosphere. The hostel offers fantastic activities that bring people together and create such a positive vibe. The staff is incredibly humble, supportive, and always ready to help with a smile. I also had the chance to meet wonderful people from different cultures and countries, all sharing the same kindness and positivity. It was such a heartwarming experience, and I walked away with cherished memories and new friendships. If you're looking for a perfect getaway, Dreamyard Hostel is the place to be!

I didn't have enough days to stay longer

Absolutely loved my stay at Dreamyard Hostel! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home, thanks to the fantastic and welcoming staff. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable, offering great tips on local spots and always ready with a friendly smile. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The common areas are vibrant and inviting, making it easy to unwind or chat with others. Dreamyard truly has a unique vibe—one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had!

We had an exceptional stay at Dreamyard, it was such a relaxed and calm environment whilst being in a central location for exploring Udaipur. The doors were surprisingly clean- nothing fancy but they did the job and had the bonus of having curtains on the beds and lockers under beds. The bathroom was large and actually was fairly clean for dorms. They have multiple communal areas with comfortable seating and the rooftop is a highlight- beautiful views and they even do free masala chai in the evenings. The staff were super helpful and kind. Highly recommend the sunrise bike tour as well!

- We did have a little mishap with the sunrise tour we booked however, the hotel resurrected the issue and compensated us for it as well so no bad terms were left. - Air conditioning is only run for a certain period, generally for overnight when everyone is sleeping which was fine for us as we were out most of the day but this may be a problem for some. They do have a fan you can use in between these times.

The hostel is in a great location with most attractions within walking distance. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. Their cafe menu has good food options. The hostel crew is polite and helpful, they keep things lively with regular activities to keep everyone engaged. Dorms are clean, comfortable, and hygienic. There’s also ample common space if you’re working or just want to relax during the day. Overall, a beautiful experience.

Property is in a great location, very good staff who were helpful in sorting us a taxi at good price for long drive when we left. Rooftop is ideal for breakfast and couple of beers but they also do food in evening. Views from property are brilliant and nice feel to the place.

Hot water for shower wasn’t always the best but was okay so not bad enough to complain about. The toilet system (potable water) had some leaks which resulted in wet area around toilet that smelt, could do with repair as easy job but I have not marked down as not major issue :)

The hostel has a splendid location to catch a beautiful sunset every evening and the hostel makes the experience more better by offering a complementary chai. The hostel receives quality crowd which makes it a great place for solo travelers to mingle and travel together. Major tourist spots are at walkable distance. The people running the hostel are very welcoming and accomodating and go above and beyond to give the best service. Will surely be back to stay if I will be visiting udaipur again. Highly recommend!
