I highly recommend it ,excellent stay !! View from the room was a lake view.The property was is clean .Also,it’s location is quite conducive,quite close to all the worry visiting monuments . The proposed quality of service and food is excellent !! The welcoming nature of the staff and advices given by them were the cherry on the top.

Fantastic rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a good breakfast which was included in our room charge. The owner/manager speaks perfect English and is very kind and thoughtful- making sure you have everything you need for your stay.

Although breakfast was good, and the rooftop terrace has beautiful views, I felt the restaurant let down the hotel at other times of the day. There are lots of other restaurants nearby with better food, more attentive and smarter waiters, and better value for money.

Jaiwana is tucked away in the old part of the city. The view from our room and the terrace is just stunning. The staff work hard to make your stay special and memorable. Communication with us was early. English is very good. Gave us information about what to see and do. Breakfast and the food was lovely, terrace is just a great spot to unwind and enjoy a drink. They helped with laundry. Organised for Aslam to take us on a TukTuk tour out of the city, this was an excellent day exploring the lakes and sights. Aslam did an excellent job and made the day fun. Would definitely stay again.

Location was very good...Close to everything. The manger was very helpful and food in the restaurant very good with a lovely rooftop terrace. Recommend overall due to staff, cleanliness and location

Internet coverage was average. They provided a booster but ensure you can get one. Night time was very noisy with the street dogs.. Barking and fighting. THIS is not the hotels issue but one across the town. The hotel manager moved our room due to this which was a great relief.

The property is bang in the middle of all tourist attractions in the Old City so you wouldn't need to take autos or taxis. There are a lot of cafes and eateries nearby, so you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food. Jaiwana Haveli is quaint and well maintained with excellent views of the lake. Reception manager Irshad helped navigate the local attractions and also helped address all room-related concerns effectively. P.S. If you are travelling in December-January, remember that it is peak season and the hotel will be packed. Hence, please have some consideration/patience if services are slightly delayed.

The property was centrally located, and most importantly, the food was exceptional—whether it was the fixed breakfast menu or the à la carte offerings.

Despite informing the staff about the broken geyser tap, they kept repeating the same advice to leave it on for 15 minutes, like a broken record. With a child, having hot water is essential, and this was my only negative experience. It's worth mentioning that the property lacks an elevator, which may be a concern for elderly guests.

Jaiwana Haveli is in a great location with easy access to all the main sites in Udaipur. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views over the city and lake.

The room was a little basic and dated, but overall it was fine. There were quite a lot of stairs to climb, which we had been warned about when checking in, but it was still more than we expected. Our room was located on the fifth floor in a separate building from the main hotel, with the restaurant in the main building on the fourth floor, all with no elevators, so it was a bit of a trek between the two.

Jaiwana Haveli is situated just behind Udaipur's City Palace and the location is for sure one of the best in town. The rooftop view is splendid and enjoying a sunset from there is a must. The restaurant is veg only.

We weren't in the main building, the one with rooms that present lake views, in the second building wifi is provided from a private rooter, that often has some connections issues. Staff was very helpful, however no-one let us know that part of the City Palace and the lake boat trips were closed due to the Indian G20... Overall, it was still a very good service.

The hotel is beautiful, an elegant building close to the lake. There was a nice view from the comfortable bedroom and a superb panorama from the restaurant on the roof. We were there for the noisy New Year celebrations but despite all that, the room was quiet and sleep was good. Irshad and the team spoke excellent English and were helpful to the last degree. Fascinating conversation too! A lovely experience which I would happily repeat.

The Chef was experienced and this showed in the quality of meals served. Check in was smooth and the professional. The pricing was good, room spacious and private with excellent bathrooms and private balcony.

For us it was possible to climb the very narrow and lengthy pathways to our rooms. Some might struggle and would be best to request a lower room or room in the main Haveli. The room heater and aircon did not work, and the bedding provided could have been more substantial.
