Brilliant hostel! Big highlights were balcony with beautiful lake view and a cafe, and the fun, kind and helpful group of staff. They went above and beyond in putting on cultural activities such as Bollywood movie night - we highly recommend the sunrise motorbike trip. Our room was also beautiful, spacious and clean with a lake view. Location was perfect to get to central touristic destinations. Thank you very much to the team at Mantra - we'd love to come back! Difficulties getting hot water but nothing else!

Such a great place! The panoramic view of Lake Pichola is amazing. The dorms are huge, and the common room has AC with a beautiful lake view. The Wi-Fi works incredibly well—probably the best I’ve experienced at any hostel. On top of that, the staff is wonderful. I originally booked for just one day to try it out, but ended up extending for two more days. The newly renovated rooftop is awesome! Super excited to come back once they finish sprucing up the place. Quick tip: Go for the 8-bed or 6-bed dorms—they’re the best. The 6-bed dorm has a newly renovated washroom that’s really spacious, with modern fixtures and an amazing hot shower!

The stay in Hostel Mantra was really amazing! The staff was very helpful, organised a lot of different activities, took us on tours. Very social hostel with pretty much every backpacker interacting with each other and joining on different activities around the city or just having a party with hosts and other backpackers in the hostel. Especially thanks to Hashish, Dwisha and Vinit, who made our stay so exceptional! Oh! And the food is amazing in the hostel so you don't have to bother going anywhere else. Must try the Crunchy Chicken Burger and Hashbrown Omelette! 🤤🤤🤤

Love the rooftop view and the ambience of the hostel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious . Overall it was a comfortable stay , also to mention the location of the property was nice . Everything was in walkable distance

The only thing that was my concern was the fan service, though AC was working. But the positioning of the bed and that of the fan was not that much cooling the room ... But AC was there to minimise this problem

Location is amazing. People were sooo nice.Place is so enjoyable that you don't wanna leave the premises. And enjoy there only. One of the best location in udaipur. Cleanliness was also good. Thanks a lot for making my visit memorable.

Better they provide some little better blankets. And also better if the guest don't have to make their beds.

This hostel has contributed immensely to making Udaipur my favourite city in India. It was the most wonderful reprieve after a few hectic weeks, I felt so safe and relaxed here. Personal highlights - Sunrise motorbike tour, honestly can’t beat taking a ride through the dark then watching the sunrise with a cup of chai. Second look out and kachori was a cherry on top - Bhushan for letting me tag along with him on his morning run - Dwisha with her bubbliness, maria and anurag - all the thoughtful touches in the way that the hostel is decorated, the charge points in all of the lounge areas on the roof, colours and sunrises and sunsets on the rooftop are so incredibly stunning Would be an easy choice to stay here again. Thanks to the team at Mantra so much!

People and staff are very co operative and amazing. I never felt that i am alone always welcomed and greeted by kind hearted people.

We went on a great motorbike excursion with the hostel and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Great rooms and location!

Having stayed in almost all of the popular hostels in Udaipur, I can surely say this one has the best vibe and the best facilities one could ask for! Karaoke nights, a variety of card games(poker😍), carrom board, AC in common space, TV with Netflix/Amazon/Disney subscription is what makes the place stand out from other hostels. Also their 10 bed dorm is really spacious, beds are comfortable, powerful AC, curtains on every bed for privacy, clean washroom!

Nothing as such, just a small suggestion maybe include a few more spots in the sunrise tour to make it worthwhile and longer probably!
