The Haveli is very spacious and beautifully designed/decorated. The staff is super helpful and considerate. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Early mornings and evenings are the best time to enjoy the property and the nearby attractions. Ideally, if you want to explore Udaipur, rent a scooter. Walking is good too but there are great hikes around the city and lovely monuments to visit roughly 10-15km away.

The food options could be expanded on, especially the breakfast offerings. The room is really nice but could do with some more plug points, books (maybe?) and coffee/tea making paraphernalia. The bathroom shower needs changing for sure - a shower faucet will not do.

a most gorgeous property, beautifully restored and in an utterly perfect location. our room was elegant and spacious with a breathtaking view over the lake. Divyarishi and his staff were super helpful and courteous. Big thanks and Love to the splendid Surinder Singh who drove us to Jodhpur and created a marvellous day in route! highly recommended!

Small but improvable things- the shower was weak and Luke warm and there’s no tea/coffee making facilities in the room to go with the kettle, which wouldn’t matter if the terrace cafe was staffed during the day. id recommend a welcome drink and water in the room after long dusty travel and flight.

It was a lovely old haveli and our room had a beautiful lake view although very small was good value for a lake side view room. The staff were nice especially at breakfast on the roof . The breakfast was simple but reasonable . Good location . I feel there needs a better social atmosphere - more places like in the central courtyard to sit comfortably and meet other guests . it was a bit impersonal on that level although a lovely family run hotel on other levels . They kindly looked after our bags whilst we stayed over the lake for awhile. Clean.

No lift if you have walking difficulties. The orange juice in a box at breakfast not good with so much fruit around . A more cosy friendly comfortable atmosphere would make it more perfect .

the haveli is located 5min away from the palace and facing the river, making it an excellent place to stay. the bedrooms were big and the bed so comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the little resting areas. breakfast was good but we realized too late that there was more than just omelets on the menu. definitely the best place to stay in. the owner was so nice and friendly: he gave us all the directions needed upon arrival.

the bathrooms would benefit from a bit of refurbishment but despite it, it had everything you needed.

This hotel was, unlike most other places, a real Haveli so the architecture is truly unique. Our room was like no other, in fact a suit located at the end of narrow staircase. Not for those with accessibility issues. It is a lovely place, with a perfect location, on the lake, a location that it shares with its next door neighbour,Jagat Niwas palace hotel. We stayed in a partial lake view room, and full view rooms must be even better. Its roof top restaurant is a perfect place to view the sunset over the lake. The food, however, needs to be ordered well in advance, which makes the Jagat Niwas excellent restaurant, a natural alternative.

The shower could be cleaner and the hot water more steady and plentiful. The hotel just won a lucrative award. I can see why. They need to improve very little to justify it.

The location , room and views from the rooftop make this a must if you want to stay in the old town but can't afford the posh hotels . You can step out and wander to all the old town sights. Friendly and helpful staff , hot water bottles if needed and gd breakfast . We loved the place. Next door is an excellent place to eat- Rainbow. Highly recommended.

We didn't mind but others may need to be aware that it's charm is the fact that it isn't slick and done up to the nines. The location means you have to get a tuktuk . Don't chose if you want the banality of an international /chain.

The view from the room window was spectacular.

If you get a room with a lake view keep in mind that there's a small public area with access to the lake right in front of your windows so people like to hang out there and it can get a bit noisy at night. Also the hot water takes its sweet time to come on so make sure you leave it running for a few minutes before you want to shower. The locals told me that the water issue is mostly the same in other hotels in the area.

Perfect place for a stay in the Old city, amazing views from the rooftop and very friendly staff. Divyarishi has managed to retain the rustic charm super well. Jeevan and Satveer are the mvps. Great stay overall. Would recommend :)

Absolutely perfect stay. Overlooks the lake. The views are breathtaking. So many shops and restaurants nearby. The owners make you feel at home! So kind and will help you in any given situation! All the attractions and city palace are minutes away.

bare in mind that you’ll be needing to take a tuk tuk or walk with your luggage to the car parking lot.

The location is great and the rooms spacious and atmospheric . The roof top bar had great views, though it appeared only to serve breakfast - it was empty at other times of the day so we decided to eat elsewhere

The bathrooms could be in better condition - one of our showers didn’t really work
