This hotel was in a great location about 1 hour from the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of Rajkot. The room was a spacious size with space for a single bed if here were three people staying. The bathroom was also very spacious with a good functioning shower. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was prompt and helpful. The spa is lovely with a good range of massages available as well as a pool.

There are a few observations that the hotel could do better in. 1. The breakfast - there was little attention paid by the staff to guests at breakfast. it took a lot of time for tea to be served and the food was mediocre. The cutlery and plates were in some cases not clean and the plates cracked. Given this hotel hosts the Indian Cricket team I would expect the attention to detail to be on point. The bins in the rooms and bathrooms looked very old and the pedal function did not work. This is not a major criticism but if you are paying for a high end hotel it's the details that matter. We also had to pay for the transport to and from the airport, this could be given as a courtesy.

The food, the staff, the layout, space in the rooms, room service, cleanliness was exceptional. Everyone was well treated too. Only downside which is slightly minor was the wifi was playing up a few times other than that I cannot fault the hotel awesome location. I would definitely go back.

We arrived at the hotel at around 4 pm and the checkin process was very fast and smooth. We were instantly taken to our room, and found that the room was very big and spacious. The room had a tv, 3 chairs, a double bed (on request gave us an extra bed), a big toilet and a big cupboard. The view from the room was spectacular. The entire room and toilet was well equipped and nicely decorated. In the toilet there was a seperate phone to call the reception and there was a rain and hand shower. It came with a lot of amenities and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and big and the room service/reception was also very hospitable and efficient. The hotel had 2 restaurants, Cravings (buffet restaurant) and Horizon(a la carte restaurant). We chose to eat at the buffet restaurant, which had countless options to choose from. You can even order food on demand for free! The buffet was 100% veg, and had a variety of desserts and food. We also were offered complimentary buffet breakfast at the same restaurant, and again it was exceptional. The staff were very friendly as well. I really enjoyed my experience at this hotel overall and hope I can visit again. They even took a photo with us before we left in a frame saying "Guest of Honour"! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to have a good stay in Rajkot.

Well appointed hotel with a good standard throughout. Food items served are good. I had a good stay.

The breakfast staff were not attentive (tea never arrived after even 15 minutes) and the front reception experience was a bit hit-and-miss. I had to wait to check out while a manager finished his breakfast. Make some changes here and you have a good hotel option here for Rajkot. It is about 100-150 rupee ride away from Rajkot city proper and rickshaws can be limited off the main road. Better to stay in the city proper if you have work in that area.

Lovely room. Large, comfortable and perfect for my stay. The shower was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent, a truly marvelous display of things on offer. I particularly loved the sugar cane juice. Overall a wonderful experience.

The quality of the coffee could have been better! Sorry, but I like my coffee. The lift I found confusing (or I wasn't being very attentive) as reception was on 1 and not on G.

Reshabh the waiter at the terrace restaurant was excellent He was attentive, helpful and very pleasant The restaurant manager also let us hold a mini get together with friends on the terrace just because we were staying at the hotel. They did not charge us for that.

The pool could do with a clean. Not dirty just the leaves need removing

Breakfast was exceptional, staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of variety, . They also made breakfast for when we told them we were fasting. Location is great near to where we need to be.

Checking out at 10 o’clock was the only issue.

You can book taxi from a counter near reception, but lady serving was not interested in serving customers as she was busy browsing on her phone. coridor is bit outdated.

Paid 1500rs a day extra for balcony room but balcony was useless because no table or chair was. Supplied . Asked about it in reception but they smiled!😞😞😞

Overall, Sayaji Rajkot was fantastic. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, with fantastic customer service from staff.

Other areas of the hotel were not clean, especially outdoors areas. Additionally, the swimming pool was out of order because of the water quality.
