We were immediately blown away by the beauty and size of our room that had a balcony that overlooked the Ganges river. The location is unbelievable because it’s between the two pedestrian Bridges. The breakfast offered in the morning had everything for anyone’s tastes. All the other food at the restaurant was excellent and the service was excellent. We ate almost all our meals at that restaurant at the hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating for our menu requests and when we needed a taxi to get to the airport on our last day. I forgot to mention that the bed and the pillows are incredibly luxurious as well.

Pretty much every thing is right about this property. Staff are welcoming and ready to help out with everything (including the important sights and how to go about it). Rooms and corridors are royal and has a great vibe with views of the mighty Ganges. Paramartha Mandir is directly opposite and Ganga Aarti can be seen directly from the room itself. Back door to the river makes it lot easier to take a holy dip and also to meditate in early mornings and late evenings (however between 9AM and 9PM, the ghat gets busy with hawkers and folks getting off of rafting). Breakfast (and evening snacks) was excellent.

Not all the staff in the adjoining restaurant is attentive. About 20% overpriced IMO.

It was an excellently managed property with qualified and polite staff to help their guests in every means. Food was good. Cleanliness very good. Location very good.

Though Breakfast spread was good but need more options as only limited options were available. The roof of balcony of the premier room is made of metal sheet above in which pigeons keep coming and making noise which resluts in disturbance and also during strong winds these metal sheets makes too much noise. Its a suggestion if they can replace this metal sheets with some other material so to maintain the calm ambience inside the room.

Location, staff very attentive n happy to help. Love the quality n softness of the bed. Balcony in my room was amazing. Maharaja suite is spacious. I only ever stay in the maharaja suite. My 3rd stay now.

The bathroom leaks water everywhere. More attention to the shower spraying everyhere Towels can be bleached to be white, they were off white. Room is very expensive for that bathroom. The breakfast can be better for the price we pay. The dining hall needs to be cleaner. It's dusty n sticky in the corners n tables

The location is the best feature of this hotel. You can witness Ganga aarti from your hotel. Hotel right on Ganga river front. Get a River view room and see everything going outside, including river rafters returning. Nice inside and outside restaurants both with great views. Staff are helpful and nice. There is a complimentary yoga class in the morning. You can walk to the other side of Ganga as the hotel is positioned in between 2 Bridges in which to cross(15 min walk) to either bridge. The room was comfy and cool.

The BedRoom was a bit tired but adequate for a few days stay.

Excellent location and authentic local feel. Well decorated and clean. Comfortable room. Staff very helpful. Very good food. Right on the river bank between Ram jhoola and Janki jhoola and room with Ganga view. 100 yards from Ganga Aarti and next to river rafting Station. Excellent stay.

The location was excellent. The food was good too. Staff was super nice. I loved the fact we were just bang on river Ganges and could easily swing by the river at any time.

Rooms are too colourful. Decor is too loud and lights are very dim. Which I had seen in the pictures and understand that's how it is.

Great location on River Ganga. Ganga Aarthi organised in the hotel itself. Better than the big Ganga Aarthi at dusk in Haridwar.

On a busy main road and difficult to find the entrance to car park. No lift / elevator - being heritage hotel...

It is convenience to access anywhere, and good location for view of river.

It is better to provide annual how to use TV. And it needs tissue paper in room. It is necessary of bathrobes as standard. It needs to request by resident.

Fantastic location right on the ghats, welcoming and helpful staff. Beautiful views of Ganga ji from the Ganga facing rooms. Yoga sessions!! Delicious food. Amazing and tasteful decor ! Would go there again and again!!
