I have visited this hotel three times already. My journey first brought me here six years ago. It is truly heartwarming to experience that, over the years, the hotel’s standards have not diminished in the slightest – rather, they have only improved. The service remains warm and attentive, reflecting the true essence of Indian hospitality. The food is rich and thoughtfully prepared, taking into account various taste preferences and the principles of Ayurveda. There are lighter, mildly flavored dishes that are perfect for guests who have undergone the Panchakarma process, as well as more nourishing and spicier options for those who require more energy. Mornings here begin with a peaceful yoga practice, where the instructor guides each participant with loving care. The asanas are carefully chosen to offer a pleasant challenge for experienced practitioners while remaining perfectly suitable for those who have yet to incorporate physical practice into their daily routine. After a refreshing yoga session, sitting on the banks of the sacred Ganges bathed in golden morning light, savoring a delicious sattvic breakfast, feeling the sincere smiles of the staff, and letting oneself be carried away by the celestial sounds of the bansuri – this is true spiritual bliss, a moment where the soul feels at home.

Staff, food, location, spa, yoga class, outside guide available through hotel (Pankaj Kothari Rishikesh) was all top notch. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate your every need. 5 star quality food, staff, spa service, tour guide, yoga class. Loved Arpana's yoga class-she taught to all levels in the room. I loved her calm voice and patience with students. Preeti was an amazing spa therapist. Wonderful massage, reflexology and shirodhara -will definitely put you to sleep. The restaurant manger, Rohit was over and above accommodating. He was very personable and such a delight. The front desk staff manger was very friendly, professional and extremely personable. I hired an outside tour guide and that absolutely made my trip the most memorable. We were treated like queens and had the VIP treatment when we went to both arrtis. If looking for a guide, you must hire Pankaj Kothari; the hotel can provide his contact details.

I did feel like we were a little rushed out of the room exactly at check out. That being said we lingered at the hotel for 1 1/2 hours and it was not a problem. They stored our bags until it was time to go and we were welcome to sit in the restaurant as long as we cared to.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, every staff member went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. Their kindness and professionalism were truly commendable. As if all of this wasn't enough, the hotel also offered complimentary yoga and meditation classes. This thoughtful touch added an extra layer of tranquility to my stay and left me feeling both physically and mentally rejuvenated. Everything, the spiritual ambiance of the hotel, the good, the quick service, everything. I would like to appreciate everyone, especially Kush, the Chefs Deepak, Avinash, Vivek, and also neeraj, shika, ashwini sir, the security, the front desk people who were very prompt in everything. The house keeping incharge, the person who was in charge of the locker, tv, electronics, and the flute music by Rohit sir in the mornings were mesmerizing, and the meditation 🧘‍♂️ 🧘‍♀️ session in the evening were positive loading and 😌 relaxing. I love them all. The food was good and easy on the gut. The chefs were so concerned to provide us with the south Indian dishes we asked for.

there was no hot water in the shower I find the workman ship in the bathrooms poor quality. The food is delicious and you should do more to promote your local food and reduce plastic by giving water not in plastic bottles and providing a general water filter where clients can refill their bottles also no plastic in reusable bathroom products please it is not necessary just refill soap bottles in the bathrooms. I loved the food chef very friendly and accommodating delicious!

Probably the best hotel in Rishikesh. A rare case where reality exceeds expectations. An excellently restored building. Everything is decorated with impeccable taste, it creates a real cosy atmosphere. Very good location almost on the banks of Ganga. We left with a great desire to stay in this hotel for at least one more day :)

In my opinion, the hotel lacks the word Hotel in the name. Or some other explicit indication that this is a hotel and not a retreat centre or something similar. As a foreigner, it was a bit confusing for me when choosing a hotel to stay in.

The location is perfect; a dip in the Ganges is literally a step away from your room. Staff is helpful and friendly, food is to die for.. the garhwali thali set us up for a memorable trip... Also, the location is just so convenient .. its in the middle of rishikesh... ram jhula is where the hotel is, you have laxman jhula and janki jhula on either sides making it perfect to cover all of rishikesh. The flutist during breakfast was a special treat. We will cherish the malas given to us as part of the welcome

with an extra bed, the room becomes a little crowded BUT that is not really a downside if you are NOT looking to spend time indoors

Everything was good especially housekeeping and restaurant staff service. Spacious and well decorated rooms. The restaurant served exceptionally quality and customized (on request) food items. Prime location with direct access to Ganges ghat. Yoga and meditation services (all inclusive in room rate) were nice add-ons. High tea was amazing and well laid out.

Few fittings in room and bathroom need updating. No lift makes it difficult for people with less or no mobility.

The location is fantastic with a great view. Book the rooms on top.The staff were polite and courteous. The food was nice with good quantity. The hotel has activities like Yoga ,meditation during the day. The place is walkable to Sivananda s Ashram ,both the bridges . There is a nice walking path along the river right outside the hotel. The room is of decent size with a comfortable bed and had all most of the options like kettle, fridge , safe, etc. The hotel provided me with a taxi for sightseeing.

The bathrooms i felt need to be redone. They were neat and clean but were a little small and felt a bit old .It is slightly on the costlier side but for that view and location, you don't mind paying more . The shower had an issue . It was either too hot or too cold .. It was not an issue for me but there is no lift .Overall, it was a nice and comfortable sta

Everything was world class and even better than our holidays in Europe . We enjoyed our stay very much . Every minute detail was taken care of.
