The property is placed in a beautiful setting, nestled on top of a cliff overlooking a valley. The rooms were clean, well maintained. The breakfast was excellent. Always a challenge to counterbalance the weighing scale! But the stand out feature was the excellent service provided by the staff; right through from reception checkin until checkout. When we had an issue with one of our rooms that was facing the valley, they changed the rooms immediately. The room services were excellent. This aspect of our stay makes Treehouse M A R S Valley View the accommodation to look for whenever we next visit Shimla.

A suggestion which I hope would be helpful. The rooms facing the Valley gets the sunlight coming in that caused a greenhouse effect and makes the room really warm and humid through the day with the windows misting up in the night. Therefore, these rooms would benefit from having air-conditioning fitted in.

The cottages are extra ordinary,nice ,clean and a scenic view and garden outside especially the family cottage with jacuzzi

Food can be improved

We stayed here when the hotel was known as Dew Drops Hotel, Shoghi. Infact my stay was so memorable that until very recently I took a detour to have lunch here (while on way to Narkanda). Coming to the hotel, this is one of the few properties that is away from the hustle and bustle of Shimla. It’s for those people who either want to stay away from mainstream crowds or break their journey in between. A little away from the main highway nestled in Shoghi the hotel is primarily surrounded by soothing views. What I loved - * Parking (Lots and lots of it, no issue at all) * Ambience ( Decent considering the price) * Food ( Breakfast is not to be missed, quite a lot of options served by courteous staff) * Staff (Courteous people who know how to value host guests) * Snacks were good (Try their Veg cutlet)

What could be improved- * Quality of Rooms (Even though the rooms we got were good and spacious, I observed that the linen were not that fresh. Sure they were washed but there were visible stains which was kind of disturbing) * Interior walls need rework especially in rooms as the colour is fading * A branding of the hotel should be placed within 2-3 kms away from the hotel for people to stay on track.

Food was excellent...staff very polite and attending all guests in very good way. Restaurant service was wonderful. Admin upgraded our room at no extra cost. Very good place to stay that too not far from noise of Shimla.

A small glitch i can say was the non availability of bathroom sleepers

Excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms, amazing view from the terrace and room window, extremely hospitable and respectful staff and the food is yummmm..
