We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at Welcomhotel ITC Savoy, Mussoorie, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for our family. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by warmth, hospitality, and a sense of old-world charm that this beautiful heritage property is known for. The hotel has a rich legacy dating back to 1902, and you can feel its history in every corner – from the stunning architecture to the antique pieces like the 1820 billiard table and the vintage piano from 1895. It truly feels like stepping into a different era, yet with all the modern comforts one could ask for. One of the highlights of our stay was, of course, the food! We enjoyed a mix of flavors at The Grand Dining Hall, indulging in classic dishes with a touch of local flair. The Royal Afghan was a treat with its amazing North-West Frontier cuisine – the smoky grilled kebabs were an absolute delight. And for those who love a good drink in a cozy setting, The Writer’s Bar is the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the historic ambiance. Apart from the birthday celebration, this trip also turned into a beautiful family reunion. The lush green surroundings, cool mountain breeze, and the hotel's peaceful vibe made it the perfect getaway for all of us. The little details – from the personalized service to the unique Savoy postmark at the hotel’s own post office – made the experience even more special. ITC Royal Mussorie is a amazing heritage hotel, you feel like you was walking across the History walls and every part of the Hotel has a story to share. This is clubbed by amazing staff members who go the extra mile to convert every transaction into a memorable experience for its guest. The Food and beverage is outstanding, and the Royal Afgan is a restaurant that all should try, if you love North West Frontier Cusine. The Welcome assistance is a amazing concept by ITC hotels that track every request of all guest till completion. The Breakfast is amazing and has got a good choice of North Indian and South Indian flavours

The evening Hi- Tea can be uplifted more. The choice of hot snax can be made better. Shower curtains needs to changed periodically by housekeeping.

It was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived , the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming stay. The rooms were immaculately clean,spacious and well decorated with a stunning view of the valley. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious ,with plenty of options to suit every taste. Evening with the bonfire and games and music worked like a cherry on the cake. What truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive and accomodating , always willing to go extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Overall, our stay at Savoy,Mussoorie was flawless and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Leaving the hotel 😢

Over the years we have traveled extensively all over the world and The Savoy definitely ranks amongst the top 10 hotels we have stayed at. The beautifully manicured gardens, gleaming hardwood floors, the marble corridors, the stately dining hall and tastefully furnished rooms all add to the old world charm of this magnificent heritage property! The staff at the reception desk, dining room and housekeeping were always available to ensure that all our needs were met! The service is par excellent and the food outstanding!

Location is very good, just near the Library, the starting point of Mall Road. Breakfast and food quality was excellent. Very cooperative staff. Room service was excellent, though rooms are a bit small, but keeping in view the heritage status of the building, it was fine.

Although I don't believe in superstations and Ghost stories, but the story telling session about the death of a women in hotel was scary for some guests. It could be avoided as some guests were not feeling comfortable, Though I liked it , being linked to history of hotel and I being a Professor of History.

Besides its historic character and beautiful architecture, the service we received at Savoy was truly exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday and New Year's Eve, and the staff ensured our stay was truly memorable. Akshita at the front desk gave us a room with a stunning view and even arranged a birthday surprise. The dinner buffet at Savoy was excellent and the Writer's Bar was an absolute delight. Very highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Our stay felt like we went back in time. The hotel is full of history and you can tell they try hard to preserve it. The service is exceptional, they go above and beyond. The bedroom we stayed was very cute, with amazing views from the terrace. High tea was included in the price which was a nice surprise.

The hotel was built in the early 1900s, structurally not much has changed since then, everything is made of wood, the rooms are not isolated therefore are not soundproof. The price is justified with the amazing service and range of activities, and of course the scenery.

This hotel is incredible - it was our first time visiting Mussoorie and we're so glad we stayed here. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi for us to visit Lal Tibba (20mins away). The hotel is located just off Mall road, and so is in a fantastic central location. The food at the hotel was incredible, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner buffet and breakfast, such a wide choice and everything was delicious. The hotel grounds are truly amazing, high up in the clouds with the most beautiful scenery, it felt like we could have been in the Swiss Alps. The hotel also provides lots of activities for guests, which included a bonfire along with a guitarist who sang to us under the stars. If you are visiting Mussoorie, then you must stay here.

it was cozy and comfortable stay, breakfast was amazing, nice clean rooms with wonderful staff, interiors, structure, history of the property is the USP of this hotel, they have kept it well maintained, would love to come again

afghan restaurant was too costly for its totally basic taste. the mutton kebabs werent fresh. didnt like the afghan section food. considering the name and legend this hotel has, some of the places were closed and not a huge property as you would imagine seeing the videos and photos, reception area is tiny.

The heritage property is stunning with beautiful lawns and spacious rooms: maintaining its old world charm with wooden floors and high ceiling, the history of the property is conserved which makes it more delightful to stay there. The rooms maintained their old world charm with comfortable beds, a study, walk-in wardrobe and sitting lounge. The hotels staff was just so friendly and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Lots of activities to keeps kids and families engaged.
