The staff was super good and helpful. The hotel is cozy and right opposite Assi ghat. There is a medical store right opposite and some cool eating places. But the best part of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant. It is vegetarian, and the food is good. The view is terrific and it's really nice to sit here in the mroning or evening when it is not too hot to watch the river and the lights.

We booked the most expensive room - Executive with River view. The room was really bad. It was cramped with furniture, was dark, had a small window and the bed was lumpy and the duvets were heavy and old. The bathroom was large but the room was terrible. We shifted to the Superior river view room which was much better. But since we had booked the executive room through this site they charged us all the same, which i think was unfair.

Overall it was a good experience inculcating all the services like accommodation, food and guide. And don't get misguided and fooled from boatmen as they will charge you hefty amount for the features like visiting all 84 ghats And ganga aarti which you can also see directly at the ghats or if really want to do boating,go on sharing basis, also try to explore the city yourself if going first time and don't get trapped in unnecessary money hefting lobby. Public convenience like auto is easily available in front of the hotel.The hotel was situated in proximity to assi Ghat. And had tried to maintain their levels of quality and hygiene

Staff can be more cooperative

Located near Assi ghat and hence ideal for a boat trip in the evening. Good hotel, especially the Hotel staff and the Banaras tour guide, Ajay Pande. Pandeji can be very useful to you, he arranged the boat trip, Ganga Arati trip and also Vishwanatha Darshan. Everything well arranged, no confusions in an extremely chaotic city, which is really helpful :)

Food can be better.

When I have started searching for a hotel in Varanasi for my family trip-I was fed up of fake review writers, who made my searching of good hotel -a very complicated/challenging task. Thanks God, finally I have ended up in Haveli hotel. Being a pilgrimage I just wanted to have a decent , clean hygienic accommodation at Varanasi that too near the Gangaji... HAVELI fulfilled all of them, Thank you. (I am not bothered about TV , WiFi etc unwanted things- though they have provided, But, Lift- I appreciate). When ever I requested for cleaning of room, water , tea powder, soap- they provided. The Food was nice, safe and good preparation. The only not so attractive was- the price...!! which they have kept on little higher side I felt...These are my sincere un biased comments.

Room size was bit smaller for 3 Beds

Hotel Room was good & well maintained; all the staff were polite & helpful at all times;room service was prompt & good; location of the hotel is good

No cupboard in the room; room service starts very late after 7.15am which is not convenient for guests with early morning programs;The spread for breakfast buffet is very limited and no south Indian food available in the Restaurant; the worst of all which I didnt like is the check out time of 10am. Hotel should offer 24 hrs stay for the tariff charged.

Location. Staff behaviour. Food was ok though we didn’t try much. Best was the Murtikar’s shop just near the hotel where a well reknowned artist runs a non descript yet amazing shop - so much to discover in his shop.

The common toolet near reception stinks very badly. Reason being the men’s urinal inside which retains the urine and the whole bathroom, otherwise nice stinks badly

Location close to Assi Ghat is fantastic. It makes walking along the ghats very easy as it is the main attraction. Gets very busy before and after evening ceremony, but not much noise makes it into room. Fantastic roof top.

Breakfast was a bit hit or miss

Locationwise great place. Room size is acceptable. The staff behabious is very good and restaurant food is veg and tasty. Breakfast Puri sabji is much better than famous Ram Bhandar. Try this plate is a must here.

Room was lack of drawer and or alimirah to keep clothes. Few hangers were available only. At least one small almirah will enhance the phase value.

Nice place close to Assi Ghat. Very friendly staff who made sure that we had a great stay in the hotel. Size of the could be slightly bigger. But overall, our stay was good.

A clothes rack in the room would have been helpful since we took multiple dips in the Holy Ganges.
