Standard rooms close to road and road noise

Very relaxed environment on the beach. This hotel has a working salt farm,between the hotel and the beach, which was very interesting. The room was basic, no fridge or coffee making facilities, but had a very comfortable bed, and hot water for the shower. The breakfast was adequate and enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful and one staff member-Bayu-went out of his way to help me when I was sick. The sun beds were old and need replacing, back rests on sun beds were held up with planks of wood. The pool was nice and cold, so refreshing compared to some of the warm pools you get in Bali, and there was a lovely ocean breeze while lying by the pool. Staff organised a fantastic snorkelling experience for me. The boat leaves directly from the hotel. Shops and restaurants were all walking distance from the hotel. I would 100% stay here again. Lovely atmosphere.

The sun beds.

Ideal location, directly on the beautiful black sand beach of Amed village and such easy walking distance to the Main Street of Amed which has everything a traveller could need! The staff were so relaxed, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. They connected us with an excellent local dive company (Ocean Tree Bali) who we spent 3 days diving with. Bayu also helped us with a well priced, great little scooter to rent for our time. The Javanese huts are stunning and have a real old style Indonesia feel. The gardens were beautifully kept and the pool was perfect.

Nothing! We just wish we had more time. We were so comfortable here.

The perfect little rustic hideaway, with the villas and the furniture made from reconditioned timber. I loved the outdoor courtyard bathroom with lots of privacy, epically when it rain. The staff where very helpful, friendly and actively provided information to assist in a better holiday, from transport, places to eat and activities and places of interest. The pool and view was wonderful, plenty of shady garden around the accommodation. The freshly made breakfast including fruit was divine and I appreciated the bottomless coffee, tea and water avoiding the plastic waste. For a quality massage, I would definitely recommend organising an inhouse masseuse, who are will to come from early morning to the evening.

The villas residential cats were entertaining, but may be a problem for those with allergies.

If fancy hotels are your thing then this isn't the best place for you and that's okay, but if you enjoy great staff, customer service and a fantastic location then these are great villas. The staff went above and beyond to make our family holiday great. The prices in the bar were great, close to restaurants. We went fishing and the staff cooked our fish perfectly, they arranged our snokling trip we can't praise the service enough.

The hot water wasn't good, and WiFi sparatic.

The room was bright and big and it was beautifully decorated, with part of a boat as a dresser! There was also a desk and nightstands and a huge balcony with a table and bed. The property was beautiful and well maintained. It was right on the beach and in the middle of plenty of restaurants on the beach and the road, within walking distance.

The beach is right there and the water is super clear, but it’s not a place to snorkel, there is nothing to see but rocks. It’s a short 5 minute drive from Jemuluk

The staff was super friendly! I was in Amed especially for diving and I had to be earlier at the dive school than breakfast was served. It was no problem for them to come half an hour earlier so I could have breakfast before diving. Also they let me check-out half an hout later due to diving so I could shower and pack my bag. When I needed a long distance taxi, all was arranged in 5minutes. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this accomodation!

I’m nit sure how Amed is if you are not there for diving. It is really all about diving and for me it was exactly the reason I was there. But for other people it might not be the place to be

I felt home right away, as the ambience of the bungalows have a relaxed rustic feel. The breakfast is lovely around the pool with other guests, plenty of fruit, pancake or omelete and coffee. Comfortable bed & mosquito net so can sleep with doors open. The bathroom smells fine and has an outdoor part to it. It has hot and cold water. And toiletries are provided and updated by house keeping which is done daily upon requesting, they even bought me a knife for cutting fruits and fridge is inside room. The cats sit with you in the outdoor area. Over all it’s cozy right on the beach with many local waurungs all this for a at a good price. Thank you for having us to stay.

Dark rooms

Old school Bali bungalows. Stayed in Deluxe Double Room with Side Sea View. Clean rooms, aircon, mossie net, clean linen, comfy bed, nice verandah with table chairs and day bed. Pool shaded so water cool and view to beach. Breakfast simple but good, coffee, fruit, eggs or pancake. Staff helpful and trustworthy - you just have to ask for what you want and they will go get or sort out. Even went out and got insect repellant when i couldn't find in local supermarket. Beach clean and water crystal clear. Warang Amsha to the right of hotel food good and good mojitos.

Take a light if you want to read at night in bed.

The pool was lovely with very easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the breakfasts sitting by the pool in the shade. Nice warungs on the beach next to the property. The garden was lush and shady and afforded privacy. Gorgeous views of Mt Agung at sunrise and sunset. It was an easy walk into Jemeluk where there were more trendy restaurants and cafes and music bars. Beach was clean and the water was so clear.

The bathrooms needed a bit of TLC and the rooms were very dark but the outside veranda with day bed was very welcome.
