The accommodation is absolutely beautiful 😍 The bathroom is huge! Nice pool with sunlight most of the day. Very helpful staff. Your pre order breakfast the day before - a nice selection, all of which was very tasty. The location is good as it's set back a bit from the business of the street but within around a 30-minute walk to the beach. On the way you will pass many food places too. There are so many lovely places to eat. In the evening we used taxis just so we didn't have to walk.

The only negative is that the lighting is very dark in the bathroom which the mirror is - if you're a makeup girly, it's tricky.

The staff were already waiting outside with big smiles and ready hands to help with our luggage — such a simple gesture, but it immediately set the tone for the entire stay. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell that hospitality here comes from the heart. Whether it was a quick question, a request for extra towels, or ordering food to the room, they handled everything with grace and a smile. After a long journey, we were grateful to relax in our room and order some food, which was delivered promptly and with flexibility. The kitchen staff even accommodated our tired state with a late meal, which we truly appreciated. We had asked for breakfast at 8am, and right at the dot, someone came knocking gently to let us know it was ready — such thoughtful service. And breakfast itself? Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It felt like a lovingly prepared meal at home. The resort itself is spotless, from the rooms to the garden paths. There’s a calmness in the air, surrounded by greenery and simple Balinese elegance. It’s a perfect place to unwind, read a book by the pool, or simply enjoy the quiet. What truly makes Planta Resort special is the warmth of its people and the attention to small, thoughtful details. We felt seen, cared for, and welcomed every moment of our stay. It’s one of those rare places where you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal, peaceful, and authentic experience in Canggu. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The resort was beautifully looked after we can’t wait to return the next time we visit Canggu! This is a perfect place to stay for couples.

Stunning oasis tucked away from the busy streets. It felt like we had the place to ourselves as it was quite private with only a few rooms. Staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and well organised in advance. Beds were really comfortable, and the blackout curtains meant we got a great sleep in each morning. About a 40 minute walk to echo beach or a short grab/gojek ride by car or scooter.

A little bit of construction nearby but it wouldn't put me off staying here again as the place was amazing and the staff were wonderful.

It is such a beautiful resort. The moment you enter you feel calm. The rooms are decorated so elegantly and everything is beautiful. The bathrooms are insta worthy. Best thing is the staff, they are extremely kind and helpful.we rented a scooter thorugh them and had lots of fun exploring. They served afternoon tea which was delicious. The breakfast was also one of the best. We loved this property. And would love to come back. Only one issue was that there were no.cups, plates or spoons and forks in the room which people may need. We asked the butler and he brought them quickly. And the toilet had a flushing issue which should be sorted. Other than that we give it 10/10. Just beautiful and calm. Thank you to the lovely staff.

Such a beautiful resort! The room we stayed in was gorgeous! It was quiet, and out of the way enough to give you a secluded feeling, but close enough to everything you need! The staff were the best thing about our stay! They made the experience incredible, they were so acomodatibg and helpful no matter what we asked. My friend who I travels with was really sick for our entire stay and they made her herbal teas with honey, and sent for a doctor when she needed one. They were always checking in to see how she was doing, and they were also heping me by telling me how to get around and what to do during my time exploring Canggu. I would 100% stay here again when I return!

There was some work being done on one of the rooms during our stay, it made the days by the pool a bit noisy, but I don’t really fault them for up keeping the property.

Beautiful jungly location away from the noise of the main road. Very quiet, you’d hardly know anyone else was there. Pool great. Stylish and modern but still feels very Balinese. Comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom and outlook. Very kind and helpful staff.

You do have to be aware of the mosquitoes but they supply mosquito spray and mosquito nets so it wasn’t a biggie for us. Location is a bit further back, but there is still a lot in the immediate vicinity.

The resort is very central located but when you enter you don’t hear anything. It’s just you and the nature. Amazing location with an very modern architecture. It is like in the pictures. Dream!

That the bathroom had no window. I know it’s common in Bali but with all the insects and mosquitoes I prefer a closed bathroom.

Very nice and friendly staff, always willing to help. Location itself very beautiful, peaceful and super green. Amazing coffee at the breakfast :)

Sometimes the cleaning in the room was not done properly and few times I founded hair of previous guests. No hot/warm water in a shower.

The resort is nicely settled in a green oasis. The room is spacious and comfortable albeit a bit dark. The common space is beautifully arranged with a swimming pool, sun beds, sofas, media room, big table, etc. There are only 5 rooms, so there is plenty of private space for everyone. It is very serene and lush green place - just perfect to relax. And the staff is amazing - ask them anything and they will make it happen!! I am definitely coming back!
