Absolutely beautiful traditionaly styled property. I loved the free car shuttle service into Canggu. The staff were delightful & mostly accommodating. The breakfast was small and not great value but still fresh & delicious. Fruit platter, eggs anyway with vegetable sides, toast, coffee/tea. Can be served in the small garden side foyer/restaurant or on your poolside portico. There aren’t many options yet for restaurants in the area. I loved Genius French bistro just down the road. One of the best meals I ate in my month traveling. In the future, as all the many building sites in the area are finished, there will be more options opening I’m sure. This location was an awesome escape from the shocking scooter noise in the rest of Bali.

The pool doesn’t have poolside sun lounges right next to it. They are located on the grass area behind, over looking a rice field behind the pool area. This was ok for me but wouldn’t like it once the hotel/villas are finished being built next door, they will be looking straight over this area. The noise from the building sight next door was shocking in the early morning some days starting before 6am. Looks like they will be building for many more months as they are only at foundation stage. The tradesmen sleep on site too so at night you can hear them talking behind the bungalows on the building site side of property. No biggy but be aware it’s not peaceful 24/7.

We had the pleasure of staying at Premadhan Cottage for a full month – and it was nothing short of incredible. The accommodation is exactly how you imagine Bali: beautifully cozy, with so much love and attention to detail in every corner. What truly stood out to us was the amazing team. From the very first day, they made us feel completely at home. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind – you can feel the heart behind everything they do. The cottage itself is a peaceful little oasis tucked away in the middle of vibrant Canggu. Despite the central location, it’s quiet and serene – the perfect place to relax, recharge, or even get some work done. One of the most special aspects of our stay was how much the team invites you to connect with Balinese culture. They take the time to explain their traditions and even offer guests the chance to take part in cultural rituals and events. We had the opportunity to create our own Canang Sari offerings – a beautiful and memorable experience that allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of daily life in Bali. The atmosphere is absolutely magical. There’s always a gentle scent of incense in the air, and in the evening the property lights up beautifully. A member of the team even comes by to light mosquito coils in the semi-outdoor bathroom – a lovely touch that adds to the authentic Bali experience. What we appreciated most was the outstanding service, which truly goes above and beyond. Whether it’s the thoughtful details, the cultural warmth, or the genuine care – everything is done with so much love and intention. We would return in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend Premadhan Cottage to anyone looking for a soulful, unforgettable stay in Canggu.

We stayed for five nights at Premadhan Cottage in Canggu, Bali, and overall, our experience was wonderful. The first night we experienced some noise from outside, but this was something beyond the accommodation’s control. When we mentioned it, they quickly offered us an upgrade to a quieter part of the property to avoid the noise. After a much better night’s sleep in the new room, as compensation for the remaining part of our stay, we were offered a beautiful private villa with its own pool. Additionally, our scooter rental was fully reimbursed, which was a lovely gesture. What truly made this stay special was the friendly and considerate staff. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and made us feel very welcome. Thanks to their care and attentiveness, we ended up having a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Premadhan Cottage to anyone visiting Canggu!

An Exceptional Stay with Heartfelt Hospitality Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived—late at night, close to 11 PM—we were greeted so warmly and welcomed with a refreshing drink. Even though it was outside normal hours, the staff made us feel instantly at home and cared for. When we experienced some noise issues early in our stay, Anggun went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive, and made sure we were moved to a more comfortable room. Her compassion and professionalism really stayed with us—she made all the difference. The rooms are stunning—clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with thoughtful touches. Each morning, we’d find spiritual offerings placed outside our door, and every evening, the scent of incense added a calm, magical feel. The bathrooms, with their indoor-outdoor jungle design, were such a unique and luxurious experience. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, with many drink options including coffee and fresh juices. The food overall was wonderful, and room service was upscale, prompt, and detail-oriented—they never missed a beat. The staff also arranged amazing massages for us, which we highly recommend. And on top of everything, they helped my boyfriend coordinate a surprise for my birthday, which made the day incredibly special and memorable.

Construction noise nearby, which can be a little disruptive but a sound machine app on your phone goes a long way.

The place is very nice, the rooms are big and comfortable and the staff is so nice and kind. The breakfast is good and the coffee is amazing. The hotel is walking distance from cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The place is highly recommendable, even with some little things to improve.

The rooms are not soundproof, and you can hear people from other rooms if they are loud speakers. I think that we were in the room next to the staff room, so we could hear them talking, laughing and even taking shower. The bathroom wasn't spotless, the cleaning could be better (nothing serious, but some dust in furniture and floors and hairs in the corner of the bathroom). The restaurant would be great with some ceiling fans.

The staff here were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived. The property layout is extremely unique with a delicate balance of primitive-living, but with all the normal creature comforts you'd come to appreciate. The staff bend over backward to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The cottages are very close together which limits your privacy. We also booked a couple's massage which was conducted in our private room. The room is not big enough for two portable massage beds, so my wife received hers on the portable massage bed and mine was conducted on the actual bed in our room. We were hoping for more of a relaxing spa-setting, but they were great nonetheless! All things considered, we loved Pemadhan Cottages and would go back again if we ever had the chance to come back to Canggu.

Great location and a beautiful property. The staff were superb, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The location is very handy to Canggu and to Pererenan, with lots of great restaurants easy to reach (personal favourite was Shelter in Pererenan, just superb). It is just tucked away nicely so that it is out of the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. The pool is very close to the rooms and very refreshing for a dip when it's hot. Premadhan was a great place to stay, and our first stop in Bali. We loved it!

The one downside was that there isn't much sound privacy - only a problem if you have noisy neighbours. The in-house restaurant was very good, but only open for breakfast. Not much not to like about Premadhan.

A beautiful lot with just a few traditional style villas, very peaceful and quiet with a pool in the centre and rice terraces in the back. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE, the black rice was so yummy! Bed was comfortable and I like that they lit mosquito coils and sprayed for bugs at the turndown service. Shuttle into Canggu centre was very helpful and all the staff were beautiful and so attentive, there is also push bikes to use for fee if you want. Special shout out to Anggu who had the most positive attitude and showed us around our room and the property. We loved that we could just text the concierge if we needed anything and for our breakfast orders. Definitely a perfect spot if you want to stay away from the craziness of Canggu centre. We also loved the outdoor bathroom.

The hotel is better than in photos, decoration, treatment and details. All the reception staff, room service and manager were always willing to help you and with a smile made our days a special place. They offer you the services you need, motorcycle or private tour and with exceptional treatment like friends. We spent a day with Raditz who gave us exceptional service, very respectful and helped us all day. We will definitely return to this place in Bali.

Staying in the Premadhan Cottage made us feel much better for our trip in Bali. The area we visited including Ubud and Canggu are overdeveloped with congested narrow roads. A fleet of scooters stream down the streets causing polluted air from day to night. I would say this villa is the most beautiful place in Canggu. There's not much to see in Canggu anyway, staying in this place you will be calm and really enjoy your vacation.

We liked this villa very much, there's nothing we didn't like about this place. But the whole area needs to be improved, including the sidewalks, narrow streets, public transit, poor air quality.
