Lovely property, very clean and comfy bed. Overlooks the rice fields which are very pretty. The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more for you. The breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary massage was a lovely touch. 10/10.

Slightly far from Canggu, however I thoroughly enjoyed the grab bikes in and out and with a circle k close by I was never stuck. No other issues.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, clean room with lots of space, nice bathroom, fresh water bottles, beautiful restaurant, nice and clean pool. It felt like home, I really enjoyed the stay.

The pillows were a bit high and hard, but no reason to stay away from the hotel. Tiny bits and pieces of mould in the bathroom.

Staff are super super nice , always smiling and extremely friendly. I had problems to pay for my Grab food ( didn’t have enough cash on me) and they helped me to communicate with the Grab driver. Also the massage was 10/10 , my partner is very picky with his massages and he absolutely loved it. Gym small but had everything you need for a workout and had a great views of the rice field. Plenty of choice for buffet breakfast and they also let you pick from the menu a meal that is included with your room. We also arrived very late at night and they waited for us, also decorated the room for my partners birthday and had a slice of cake for him. This was my first hotel during my stsy in Indonesia and could have chosen a better hotel, the staff from top to bottom were a perfect example of how I like to be treated in a hotel, ( not forgetting the lovely security guard that would always wish good me night and just even say Hi Sam and make sure i was ok😇) the hotels food was lovely also and reasonably priced. Perfect location if you want peace and quiet but a short drive into the hustle of Canguu if you feel like it! Rooms spacious and aircon was very good. All in all a great stay and will visit again- Thank you! 🥰

The staff was very friendly and accommodated our wish of getting a quiet room away from the busy street. They even managed to give us a room with rice field view, which we appreciated a lot! It was very beautiful! On the day of our arrival we got vouchers for a welcome drink, discounts for the hotel restaurant and a 10-minute massage (which we unfortunately couldn’t use since we were away most of the day). There was a water refill station near our room as well! The breakfast was a buffet breakfast but additionally you could order one item from their à la carte breakfast menu, which we liked the best. The location of the hotel is on a busy street and since there are no sidewalks and very little street lights we do not recommend walking towards the more central parts of Canggu. You can easily be picked up by a Grab or Gojek car in front of the hotel though. It is a bit outside of busy Canggu which made it a perfect starting point for day trips to the North without being stuck in traffic for hours.

The pool area looked very nice but I didn’t feel comfortable using it since the restaurant is facing it directly with some outside seats of the restaurant directly next to the pool as well. Our window only opened about 5cm (the ajar part was weirdly at the bottom of the window) and the balcony of the neighbouring room was directly next to our window so that you technically had to close the blinds all the time if you didn’t want anybody looking into your room. It is also a bit noisy since the neighbours were talking and smoking on the balcony a considerable part of the night.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had an excellent experience. The staff is incredibly kind, (Ria, Nurtini, Harum, Rihana) friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is very pleasant, clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they’re cleaned daily. Breakfast is abundant and delicious, just like every other meal of the day. I also rented a scooter for one day directly at the front desk for 100k. I asked to leave my suitcase at the hotel for 5 days while I visited the Komodo Islands, and the staff kindly agreed. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

- It’s a newly opened hotel (Feb 2024) and located near all the popular spots in Canggu. Convenient to get around with Grab Bike. - The staff were extremely helpful and efficient! Everything I asked for, they delivered promptly and even remembered my past requests. I’m also impressed by how all of them could call me by my name. Very welcoming. - The room had all the things that you need. Comfortable bed. Great value for price.

- It would be more perfect if the cleanliness were better. For example stains on the towels. Btw, the first room I got was basement. It was dark (obviously) but also not the cleanest either. I was fortunate enough to be able to change to a room upstairs but the hygiene of these underground rooms should be maintained as well.

The Best Value for money Hotel in Canggu you can find with Outstanding amenities and the Staff are now like family to me. Valstar is only just over 1 year old and still looks new. I always stay here when in Canggu. The cleanest, quietest rooms, and most pleasant place to stay. Breakfast is AMAZING and they just updated their selections. Buffet breakfast with now more Indonesian selections and you get to choose something off the A La Carte Menu. The Staff as I said are just the best bunch of people with a very high level of personal service. The pool is awesome and the view of the Rice fields is stunning. Thank you once again Valstar. We stayed in the Standard King Room with a view of the rice fields. The view was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with coupons and gave us a 10-minute free massage, a free dessert, and a free tapa. The restaurant is really nice, and the breakfast is very complete. They also have live music on Fridays. The WiFi is fast. I will stay at this hotel again the next time I come to canggu

The window was a bit shabby, and water entered the room when it rained in that direction. However, the staff gave us towels to put on the floor.

The staff were so so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent. It was nice being able to feed koi fish and also chill out by the pool. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a resort style hotel, as it has everything you need on site. Spa treatments were also high quality.

Nothing really comes to mind, however we’d recommend maybe having a few more lounging chairs by the pool 😊
