- the location, menteng is always close to any where in central jkt. - street food at the side of the hotel. This is the main 'WHY' this hotel is choosed, with atm, starbuck, money changer at the lobby what else one could wish for.... - a few eating outlets just across the street and behind the hotel. - a mosque just behind the hotel. - close to Sarinah, Grand Indoesia, Plaza Indonesia, Tanah Abang, a mere 30 mins drive to Mangga Dua, again the location is close to anywhere and the malls. - AC, is good, pillow and bed is great. - budget hotels so the toilet is a bit budget also, a bit crammed in shower for the big size people but still manageable. - good tv channels, with locals channels, AXN, movies.

The smell of the towels is awfull, the management should change the cleaning soap frangrance due to the smell, feels like a smell of human body odours...it sucks!!!

I've already stayed here at least a half a dozen times since this hotel was inaugurated in 2007. The rating here isn't so amazing, but I've to say, I can't understand why. For the price, it's by far the best hotel in Central Jakarta. Sure, it's getting up there in years and there's a weird smell in the hotel (I'd check the air vents, smells like a rat has died in there?), but I'm used to it. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and they've also put in some work to keep the hotel up to date, unlike other hotels. There's now the possibility to refill water for yourself and the doors and walls have been re-painted. The WiFi is top notch, beating out hotels with a far higher rating or price. The nearby park is also great and it's in a top location. You can walk to GI or Plaza Indonesia in 8-10 mins.

Had some very noisy neighbors (Indians or Arabs) that made a ruckus all night. The little store and Pizza Marzano and other tenants apparently have moved out now, so it's difficult to get something to drink or snacks (however, the night market and some nearby stalls offer cheap water or drinks if you can speak Indonesian. Don't go to the warungs, while they're not expensive, you pay more than at the stall).

Smoking rooms available, clean room upon check-in, consistent hot water in shower, working elevator & escalators, water dispensers available in the hallway, good breakfast (honestly, there were only a few options but better than nothing), coffee shops on the ground floor (Starbucks & Tomoro Coffee plus more cafe/coffee shop options across the street), courteous staff (they all tried their best to communicate with us in English, which we genuinely appreciated), helpful security personnel (thank you!)

Not exactly didn’t like, but I wish the hotel upgrades their facilities. I understand that this is a budget, less expensive accommodation, but a little makeover wouldn’t hurt 😅 also, I wish the front desk would be more responsive to online inquiries. I had to make an international phone call just to confirm my reservation because they never responded to my inquiry up to this day.

Good location near LRT/MRT/airport train station and still in walking distance to Monas monument and surrounding area. Functional good room, ok for good sleep and rest. Good price

Room rather dark, only view to inner courtyard All is a bit old, but don't complain. Room rates very reasonable Breakfast served in a ugly corridor. Don't expect lot of choice here for this low price. Typical chemical cheap marmelade Not to blame the hotel : short walk from Sudirman Station is horrible, no pavements, difficult to cross the road. That's typical for Jakarta

Bed, pillow etc was very comfortable I got a good night's sleep. The receprion staff and security staff where extremely polite. Location was good Their whas various Food places to eat from across the road ie. Bagels, Vietnamese restaurant, Thai restaurant and a coffee shop. A Dunkin donuts and Quezinos was 2 minute down the road. The Thai restaurant was reasonably prices and nice. Their was also a super drug kind of shop in the centre across the road. Also their was a local food stall street just on the side of the hotel. Also a Starbucks in the same building as the Hotel. It was easy and reasonably priced to get Grab or Gojek from the hotel. So definitely recommend.

Their weren't any net curtains so if I opened my curtains everyone could see in. But that's me knitpicking

Great location, if you don’t want to move too much, everything is there for a budget stay and even more. Exchange office in the same building as well as two good coffee shops - Starbucks and Tomoro, across the road a small shopping center with various restaurants and more coffee shops. Because I changed accommodation, I can say that this is a PRIME LOCATION to other two that I’ve been to. Also, after 5pm there is a pop-up street food in the side street with cheap prices and great food and fruits. Room was good, AC worked well but was a but noisy. First I was give a room without a window, but when I refused they changed to a room with a window and a lot of daylight so it was very comfortable for me. Free water refill available. Receptionist Baby was extremely helpful and serviceable!

That the water refill wasn’t giving cold water but room temperature. But, there is a fridge close to reception, so you can leave your water or fruits there.

Good Location accessible and near to the Center - Grand Indonesia, Bandaran HI, and tourist attractions. There is a Starbucks and other Coffee Shop and money charger on the ground floor and a small street food beside the hotel. Quite Place. Room is fit for business and budget travellers. The staff is so accommodating and pro-active. and I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff. Thank you for making our stay in Jakarta more memorable. I recommend this very cozy hotel and I will come back again.

The location was in a clean neighbourhood, very close to the destination I was heading for the next morning. The room was okay, given that it's a budget hotel. They didn't have twin beds though, but it's not their fault. I didn't have time to go for breakfast, hence marking it not applicable.

For the third time, I hate the taxi operations at the airport, but this is none of the fault by the hotel. There is nothing that I hate from this visit as the hotel staff were courteous and the rooms were readily available when I got there.

Location wise it is perfect for very accessible, near to tourist places and central like Grand Indonesia, Bandaran HI. The room is quiet and clean. I booked again for a week with my family and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and proactive. There were a lot of coffee shops on the ground floor, Starbucks is one of them and beside the hotel, there was a mini food street that opened at night. I recommend Ibis for business and budget-conscious travelers a place to stay when you are in Jakarta.

- The location cannot be beat. There’s a local Starbucks downstairs and there’s escalator to the second floor - Strong hot water in the shower. Have free body wash - Have distilled water outside - Price is amazing for what you get - Service with a smile - A quick Grab away from major malls

- Aircon can be colder but for the price, who can complain? - Needs more light in the room. Can be dark at night.
