Lamandau House is in a lovely old (Dutch?) building next to a very nice park. The staff were great and I enjoyed eating in the on-site cafe. I'd been a little concerned about some reviews reporting noise and mosquitos but I didn't experience either. There are lots of restaurants and cafes of all kinds within easy walking distance I really appreciated that Iman waited up until 1am for me to arrive from the airport (normally, the front gate would be locked for the night by then)

This is a nice part of Jakarta but it is about half an hour's drive from many sites tourists come to visit -- museums, Chinatown, Batavia. On the other hand, taxis are easy to get and very inexpensive in Jakarta., so this wasn't a big problem for me.

The most important think about this palce it that it is a renovated Dutch colonoial period villa. The new ownver made on strong investment to bring it back into live. Now it has a couple of indivdually styled rooms, all with balconies or terracces. You can stay in+tdoor under the veranda and can enjoy jour cappcino in a beatiful arranged garten, while just in front of you the heart of the ciry beats. It's such a beautiful area with parks where the cats are feet in the morning, with the Warung corners, their small freiendly social communities, Block M with it's more tempting charme also is nearby. In short the best place place ti be in Jatarta, if you are not only for busines there, if want to have all, relaxing in a stylish athmosphere , enjoing the true Jatarta day and nigtlife and dont forget the exccelent food which is served in the cozy coffeshop of the Lamandou but also at serveral lovely places places nearby. Westerns love your place and sometines they beg for a glass of wine or beer to drink it on the veranda, But IT's not a serious problem, bevause shops to buy alcoholic drings are nearby,

The staff were fantastic, Mahesa, Dias and Iman could not do enough to help us throughout our stay. The building is wonderful, with a lot of history and beautifully designed. Location is very central if you like the ability to walk to malls etc. Food was stunningly good in the cafe adjoining.

The old building could do with an update/renovation- such is the nature of old buildings. The central location means that it is very noisy with traffic during the night. The rooms are quite small compared to a regular hotel. A presence of mosquitos that was particularly uncomfortable. Not really ideal for a family- more for couples. Bathrooms don't have extractor fans.

A charming place, that is well taken care of! Very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff are very attentive. Although they're not always in the lobby area, they're easy to contact via WhatsApp. Located in the trendy area of South Jakarta, walkable to Blok M and plenty of restaurants and cafes.

As there are a lot of street-food carts by the park, opposite the hotel, it can be quite noisy until later in the night. It quickly gets noisy again, early in the morning.

- It has a rustic mansion feel that carries through to the beautiful room ID & landscape. - In house coffee place serves good breakfast, we liked the nasi uduk in particular. - Walking distance to MRT & there were many places to eat along the way. - Good amenities in the room, sofa bed was a nice touch so my 2 kids feel comfortable in their own little space. - Attentive & friendly staff, we communicated via WA mostly & my requests are promptly attended.

- Room facing the road can be a bit noisy at night - Housekeeping missed some spots & it was pretty obvious after 3 days of staying there, i.e old coffee sachet on the balcony table, some old tissues under our bed that i dare not touch, & we found an old hand written welcome card meant for previous guest. - The balcony door at Waduk Pluit room need to be fixed because it was baring rusty nails. Conveyed this to the staff on the 1st day but it stayed unattended until our last day.

The room I stayed in was very spacious, pretty and comfortable, despite some noises from traffic (but they provided earplugs, so that's a plus). The location is really good, near lots of restaurants and MRT, and overall the feel of the place is very relaxing, wish I stayed longer.

I could not check in at 2 PM since the previous guest was late (but still) And this is not the hotel's fault but I kinda wish there's an information in the third party's (like this) booking platform that you'd get free breakfast if you book via the website. And I forgot to inform the housekeeper (sorry) that the eletric socket near the fridge (in the taman menteng room) was broken and the fridge was leaking.

The Lamandau House is situated strategically nearby the other commercial establishments and also along with other residential spaces. I like the place's interiors. The adaptive reuse of this particular property strikes a balance between functionality and aesthetics. I love the industrial design of my room, well lit and the space is enough for one person to move around. I like the helpfulness and generosity of the hotel staff who helped me get transportation when I needed it the most.

I did not like the smell of the room when the air condition is turned off. I had to make sure that the temp is really low so that the smell of the room remains good.

Room decor was quaint and cozy. Beds were very comfortable and ameneties were good. Staff was excellent in responding to any questions and requests. Earplugs provided were great as the hotel is located right in front of a bustling road and the cafe on the terrace means you will hear quite a lot of noise. Location is good, about 15min walk to M block space

Cleanliness could have been improved slightly, as when we arrived there was some debris in the shower floor. Also the shower drain was slow to drain water so it tended to pool in the shower area

Location wise, it’s excellent! It’s very close to every hip places in Jakarta.

Unfortunately the room that I stayed in was not so quiet. I can hear all the motorcycles from the street and they were quite loud. And since it was during ramadhan, ppl like to stay until sahur time, a bit annoying I would say. And the room was a bit dark. Nice and cozy but when you need a bit more light, not much you can do.

A great little stay that is walking distance to a lot of the new bustling F&B establishments. Location is also great if you are in town for work and need to travel in and out of SCBD without paying premium price for location!

It can get a bit noisy since you're at a junction where there's lots of hawkers on the roadside. After 10PM the main gate closes and you have to do a walk around if you are using a car to get dropped off at the main entrance, although the security is just a Whatsapp away from opening the gate for you.
