asta house is very near to DPS airport. A slight walk out of the airport to the Gojek Motorcycle parking area where most bike e-hailing is available for non-family use. took me about 1 minute of walking to the gojek area and I can actually walk to asta if I knew the route earlier. But since I was traveling alone and it is already dark, I took gojek bike instead for another minute hahaha...amazing experience for me. Asta House is surrounded by easy access to Kuta Beach, Jerman Beach , even the malls ...eateries are easily available from cheap to expensive foods ..Though asta's compound is small but it is clean and well maintained. The room is clean and smell good. shower and water pressure are nice . soap, shampoo and toothpaste are available..linens are clean, towels are clean ..I am satisfied with Asta House. Only I did not get to try the food because I am on a specific dietary plan. But I think they smell really good from my room. Asta is easily accessible by Gojek Goride.

If I can use the laundry service for a small batch of clothes. But they only accept large service of laundry. 1 kilo and above ..

We booked a room here as we had a late night flight home so we didn’t actually sleep overnight or experience the breakfast that was included in the price. The location for our purposes was great . It was a few minutes by car to the airport and also close to places we could walk to during the afternoon like Discovery Mall. Along that route plenty of shops, stalls and eating places. The room was clean and air conditioned and the shower hot with good pressure. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I had a late arrival or departure. Definitely worth being taken to airport by their driver which cost $5 there. Pick up from airport is $10 ( maybe because it’s more time consuming when waiting for flights to come in). So yes -I recommend Asta House as a relatively cheap alternative to hanging out before flight.

1) Very convenient location in walking distance from both domestic and international terminal of Denpasar airport and a ver beach. Ideal if you arrive late as night or have early morning flight. There is also a cozy like restaurant around 50 meters away where you can have lunch and dinner easily and are very adorable prices. 2) Our room, albeit a bit small, was equipped very well and was kept clean: both bedroom and bathroom. 3) Staff was very welcoming and polite are ask times, during our stay as well as before our arrival. We would definitely stay again if we come to Denpasar.

Our host was incredibly accommodating with collection from the airport. Arrivals was a 3-hour fiasco going into early hours of the morning. He communicated and accommodated our needs at the time and graciously waited on us. Asta House is a wonderful "in transit" facility. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They were basic, but good value for money as a stopover, close to the airport and markets. Breakfast was great as an added extra. They will also allow baggage storage. We stayed at Asta on arrival and departure due to location to airport.

Asta House is a short ride from the airport (which is clean, modern and very good). It's hidden away in a back lane, literally just a few metres from a couple of local cafes serving snacks, simple meals and drinks at very cheap prices, eg Balinese dishes like Nasi Goreng, fried rice, noodles, omelettes, etc for between A$2 and A$5, with Bintang beer A$3 and tea/coffee A$1. Money changing was quick and simple at any of the nearby money changers, A$1 for RP9,700. (We mentally rounded this to 10,000 to make the maths easier, so all the prices mentioned in this review were in fact a few cents dearer—eg, a RP30,000 Bintang beer actually cost A3.09). The Asta House staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. Our ground-floor room was simple but very clean, with an efficient air conditioner, comfy bed, modern ensuite bathroom and bottled water supplied daily. No valuables safe, so we kept our passports etc locked in our suitcases—no problem. There was an electric jug and mugs supplied but no fridge. However, tea, coffee, soft drinks and Bintang beer were available at reception for the prices mentioned above. Our room cost only A$27 per night, and a simple light breakfast with fruit juice, tea/coffee and options of eggs, fruit, toast, pancakes etc was available for A$6. They also provided a transfer back to the airport for A$5. Great value! Asta House is just a short walk from the main road (dodging cars and scooters, as there's no pavement, just narrow laneways). This is a mayhem of traffic, money changers, massage/beauty spas, bars, scooter hire, souvenir sellers, hotels, pharmacies and 7-Eleven-type mini-marts selling everything (Cornetto ice creams for about A$1.40). Also, many more formal restaurants, Indian, Japanese, Indonesian etc. Lastly, it's only a 10-minute walk to Jerman Beach for sea, sand, snackbars and souvenir sellers.

The TV reception was very poor and the WiFi dropped out quite often. A small bar fridge with milk and some tea and coffee sachets would have been welcome, but the walk to reception or the nearest cafe was only a few metres so it's not really much to complain about.

Excellent location for stay near airport, small traditional Bali accommodation set down laneway, very welcoming staff , small but extremely clean and well maintained. Located a short walk from local restaurants and shops. Was a lovely place to stay for a short time before our late flight. Perfect and pleasant. Basic but very clean bathroom, has a kettle and cups, tv and aircon were excellent.

Nothing to not like, only suggestion would be cutlery, tea and coffee. Also no refrigerator would be the only inconvenience for a longer stay. But highly recommend this lovely place.

We stayed here during our 24-hour layover and chose it mainly because it was very close to the airport. The room is great value, as it has all the basic necessities needed for a quick stay. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning kept us cosy. The bathroom could use a shower curtain to separate the shower from the toilet paper, but it was still usable and clean. The staff were really nice and even let us borrow their umbrella to go out in the rain.

The sheets had stains and also felt dusty. It rained heavily during our stay and water leaked from the ceiling onto our bed, but luckily it was only at the foot of the bed. There was construction happening next door that went all day until 7pm, so we couldn't rest. While this is not the accommodation's fault, it's good to check if that's still happening, especially if you're planning to stay here to rest during the day before a long flight.

Simple, tiny but clean and cheap room 2 minutes from Bali airport. Located in a narrow little side street, perfect for a one night stay in transit. Don't expect anything extra beyond a towel and basic bathroom accessories and forget breakfast or a posh welcome. The property is a converted typical old style Balinese house with a central courtyard characterized by old artefacts and building decor which is enjoyable. Walking distance from restaurant area and Kuta beach - if you like the crowd, the rubbish and the mess there. The manager can arrange tours, taxis, transfers, etc.

No table, chair or a place to put your luggage and stuff. Steep stairway leading to the upper floor.

Great simple and clean accommodation 15mins walk from the airport. Great option for staying the night after the flight. It's much faster to walk than to take a cab (it can take an hour trying to get out of the airport). The staff was very helpful, our flight was cancelled and we were put on a later one arriving only at 2am and staff was very helpful with late check in. Breakfast 60 000Rp choice of omlet/eggs/banana pancakes plus fruit platter plus drink (tea/coffee/juice). Very comfortable bed and quiet aircon. Recommend.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The television looks very new and have nice channel choices. The location is also near the airport although you need to pass through alleys to get to the hotel. Motorcycles can easily go in but Grab cars might have difficulty reaching you. I kinda wished I had stayed longer in this area. It was just so convenient.

The aircon was very weak. It was set at 16 degrees celsius, but it felt more like 24. There were also no drinking water refill stations in the hotel so make sure to stock up on your supply. The wifi was pretty weak in some parts of the room. The bathroom already has a container for soap and shampoo so I didn't understand the need for additional toilet supplies, such as another soap and toothbrush. Please consider lessening plastic waste.
