Location near airport very good. Grounds and pool well kept. Staff on the ball with taxi booked early next morning and take away snack for breakfast.Reviews mentioned Hotel was only 10 minute walk from airport but for a cooler trip especially with luggage a Bluebird taxi AUD $4 takes some beating.

The hotel, derives its name from family elders, is walking distance from the airport and the Kuta beach. I walked almost 10 miles + every day while in Bali including the Beach Boardwalk. A great hot water bath was enough to be refreshed and the great beds were there welcoming to rest my tired but clean body. . Lunch and dinner has convenient options, mostly local food, right out of the lane opposite the hotel. A convenience store sells fruits and dry snacks <100m from the hotel and has juice and food outlets in its periphery. For breakfast, I had omelette and fresh homemade bread with butter and orange juice on all days. On a day that I was 45 min late than the time I had told them I would have breakfast due to a longer morning walk at the boardwalk, the breakfast was laid out on the designated lobby table and I was not denied for being late. It was delicious and the accompanying fresh cut fruits made it a great start to the day. On the previous day, I requested housekeeping to not clean the room as I wanted to rest and they complied with my request for an early cleaning the next day and I walked into a clean room after my long walk and breakfast. The room has a balcony overlooking the pool that I did not access during my stay but it does have a bean bag of sorts and I think some rods on one side to hang sweaty clothes to dry. Overall, a quant little property with a great bathroom and good beds to rest within proximity of airport, beach and food outlets.

A small property with less than 20 keys, no kettle in the room and an ac that cools the corridor before it does the guest bedside area. The first floor has no lift so you would need help from the staff if carrying something heavy. Breakfast, mine was included in the room, is prepared based out of few choices if informed a day in advance. I got a call on the 2nd day to confirm the time and the choice and had to inform them a day before for morning 3 and 4. Best to keep the volume down if with family or a partner as everything can be heard crystal clear late in the day. The property provides 2 small glass bottles of water per STAY, and has no water dispensers anywhere so buy your mineral water and coffee/tea elsewhere.

We loved our stay here because of how peaceful and quiet the place is. We had a good sleep! The room’s size is just enough for the two of us not too big and not too small. The location is perfect! We arrived at Gusti Ngurah Airport at 10:45 pm and check in at RakaAyu at 11:00 pm. The staffs are so accommodating! Complete with all the basic toiletries.

I think the breakfast. But this is personal preference okay. I’m really picky when it comes to food. This is not a negative comment but take it as improvement. Add more flavor, condiments and cook it very well. Other than that, RakaAyu is a great place to be for short stays.

I loved this nice and cool hotel accommodation, walking distance from the Airport. The look is fantastic, the room was clean and quiet, with a beautiful view of the large and clean swimming pool, which can be accessed directly from the room, and of the lovely Asian garden. I liked the breakfast choice and the fast internet connection. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive. Everything in this place contributed to a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you! ☺️🙏

Comfortable budget accomodation in walking distance to the Airport. Great accomodation if you have a flight to catch the next day, as you can easily walk to the airport with your luggage. hotel is really close to restaurants and shopping mall. Staff was excellent. We had breakfast included, which we couldn’t attend due to our flight leaving so early - which was no issue for us - however the staff packed a little breakfast takeaway bag for us which was very kind. 😊

Can’t find anything that I didn’t like taking into consideration that it was a budget accomodation - so you get what you pay for. 😊

To be fair we only stayed at this hotel for a few hours before our flight. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms dated but ok. Staff were really lovely and offered us lunch in lieu of the breakfast we would miss, and it was very tasty. Good location for the airport and a taxi was reasonable. Pool looked inviting. Great value for money.

Paper thin walls, I could hear my son’s phone conversation very clearly from the next room. We were only there for a few hours but I wouldn’t have like to be there for a long holiday.

It was ok for 1 night. Great breakfast and yummy bread.

Location is very good. Good staff. Helpful. They kept my luggage for almost 2 weeks during my travel throughout the island. (Not for free but minimum charge). The scooter they arranged for us was very good condition. They also allowed for late check out since our flgith was almost midnight. It was half the charge of the room for the whole day.

Nothing. We lost the card key and could not get our deposit (100,000IDR) for the lost but it was our fault.

I had a feeling that I was not in a hotel, but in paradise, a beautiful green courtyard with orchids, two live parrots, a swimming pool, sun loungers, a lobby bar where breakfast is served, reception. I was amazed when I entered the room and opened the curtain to look at the exit to the balcony and saw a beautiful terrace, stunning with an exit directly to the pool. It was such a relaxation. I have not been to such hotels for a long time.If I could give 100 points, I would give them all.

The location was very good for access to the airport. The hotel was modern, clean and the room was very light.

The basin in the shower room was very small but ok for an overnight stay. The staff had limited English and were unable to direct me to the area where there are restaurants ( just turn left out of the hotel and keep going!). Also I found it weird to be asked what I wanted the breakfast as soon as I arrived.
