Reception was so quick to help with our every request & query. Plus all the staff were so so 'friendly & polite' The staff were so communicative between shifts. Unknown to us, a misunderstanding at dinner left a waitress thinking I was Gluten intolerant, when we went to breakfast the next morning, I was approached by a member of staff explaining all of their Gluten free dishes and offering to supply 'off menu' dishes if needed. It turned out that all waiting staff & chefs had been notified as they came on duty. It took a minute to clarify that I'd no issue with Gluten, then he both apologised for 'the mistake', said he'd let everyone know so I'd not be interrupted again and apologised for disrupting my breakfast...

Brand new resort. Rooms nice and modern and well equipped . We did have a bit of an ant problem but wasn’t their fault. The pool is amazing with an incredible view. We came for the dolphins and our guide picked us up at the beach it was perfect. We actually didn’t leave the resort as we had the pool to ourselves all day. The food is also good. The staff were amazing. Great with the kids. Shoutout to the barman who gave them extra cookies. The breakfast was a little basic but good for the price. The whole place is very clean. We didn’t stay in a villa but we passed them and they look incredible. I would recommend to book. There is some construction going on but we didn’t hear it or did it impact our stay at all. The staff also took the kids to feed the fish which they loved so much. A real gem .

Food menu was a little limited. But we did ask for special requests ( changing meat for fish ) and it was no issue for them.

Wonderfully comfortable bed, food and drinks were excellent too. Staff service was top notch! We did the Bali cooking experience which was FANTASTIC - note to any prospective bookers, don’t eat beforehand! We also went on the dolphin trip and snorkelling as arranged by the hotel, and these were both also excellent.

It wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed, but enough to be comfortable. It was also quite difficult to go anywhere other than the hotel grounds as so pedestrian access outside, but the food and drinks were good enough that it didn’t cause an issue

We loved our stay at Villandra. We upgraded to an ocean view villa which was very comfortable with a great lounge area next to the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful and were always willing to organise whatever we needed. A little far from the main area but the shuttle and pick up services were great. Beautiful location. Perfect place to enjoy a cocktail on the beach. Just down the beach is a little group of houses and an excellent Warung if you want a change. We would definitely come back.

Nothing major but there were no toiletries in the bathrooms. It would have been nice to have some soap or shower gel. We had to ask for glasses for the downstairs lounge area and for pool towels. There wasnt a problem getting them but they should have been there already. More scheduled shuttles in to Lovina would have been nice but the staff were always happy to take us and pick us up at a reasonable price.

When we went for breakfast, we were informed that it was available only for two people. I had to ask them to verify with the front desk, as I had paid for accommodation and breakfast for two adults and one child. This experience made me feel really bad, and I ended up not eating anything. I believe the management should handle these situations better by providing the breakfast staff with a list of room numbers and the number of guests, to avoid ruining the guests' day. I also mentioned this issue to the front desk.

We loved our villa with private pool (W9) as it was the closest to the sea and restaurant and pool. Staff were so friendly and happy. A very relaxing place. Food and drink reasonably priced.

It was pretty quiet when we visited so lacked atmosphere. Some of the sunbeds around the pool were broken. Not much to do outside of the hotel - ie you couldn't really walk anywhere.

We really loved our 2 bedroom pool villa. Large, clean bedrooms with lovely en-suite bathrooms, including a free standing bath. The pool was a good size. We spent a lot of time lazing by the pool reading. We must commend the staff at Villandra, they were great: friendly and helpful at all times😄. We loved our stay here despite the restaurant menu!

The Villas are a bit too far from the main area of Lovina. we didn’t know that there was a free shuttle until towards the end of our stay. We would have taken advantage of if we had have known earlier. Because getting transport to and from Lovina’s restaurants wasn’t easy (we could pay Rp150,00 for a lift in the shuttle) we ate a lot in the restaurant. Unfortunately the menu is very limited. We quickly went through the things we liked. We ordered a rendang which had hardly any meat in it and the meat that was in it was too tough. At least the flavour was good. We had the same issue with the sweet and sour fish: 5 tiny pieces of fish as big as a thumb nail. Given Villandra is right on the beach we found this quite odd.

It's a plentiful buffet, and they'll make eggs and smoothies on request. The staff is very attentive to allergies. They were only told once and remembered, and intervened if I was selecting an item that doesn't work.

The spa set up is one giant room with curtain dividers for massages, showers, mani-pedi, hair treatments. Could be built out a little better for privacy and quiet. The spa manager is very attentive to creating a good environment, but she can't overcome the lack of walls.

I loved how quiet it was, the room was very clean and spacious, service was outstanding, location was great, right next to the ocean. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, tasted very good at a good price. Very peaceful.

Breakfast wasn't that good, water fountain would be more cost efficient than bottles of water I believe. Would also help with situation the island has with plastic.

The villa was amazing!! Way bigger than expected and we hadn’t realised that we would have our own pool. The bed was so comfortable, would have loved to take the pillows with us🤣 The staff were so friendly and the free shuttle to lovina town was really handy.

Reason it’s not 10/10 is the restaurant, unfortunately the food isn’t great (selection or quality) and then also there is construction at the hotel which we didn’t mind until the last day at breakfast we just rushed to leave as it was so so loud. The server did apologise twice (the staff are amazing here they really are a credit to the hotel)
