A clever little pod hotel which was good for a few nights in Malang. It was spotlessly clean and the pods were very comfortable. It is not a social place, but if you need somewhere to lay your head before and after Bromo or the waterfall this is a good spot that won't break the bank. It is safe and everyone who works there is very nice.

The coffee machine only works if you have an indonesian bank account / qr scan pay set up. This is mildly infuriating if you wake up and desperately need a coffee but there are a couple of good cafes serving great coffee just a few minutes walk away.

It's very clean. Very hot and nice shower. Quiet. Large and comfortable bed. Adjustable AC and lights. Indoor bluetooth speaker to play music.

To checkin you need to download an app, but it's just a one time thing. To enter the area you need to change into their slippers, which is fine. However if you left your slippers outside of the shower room some other guests might take them by mistake. Same thing happened to my friend. Personally I find it a bit uncomfortable to wear some stranger's slippers...

very clean room and bathroom,in general the place is very clean. very nice location and price for backpacker or someone looking a stay for 1-3nights. I took single bed in a cab called "Sky" everything was nice just you will find it hard to go inside/out because when you open the door there is literally no space left to move in haha especially with backpack,but its just fun,no stress for me. oh and be ready to register on their app,which is kinda boring at that moment when you arrive but later you will find it useful and smart.

Very nice big and comfy and clean and modern capsules. The sound of birds in the capsules (you could turn it off) and corridors. Clean bathrooms with many cabins. The object looks new and well maintained. They provide home shoes, so it's clean inside.

You need to install their application on your phone to check in and open the room anytime you want to enter it. Moreover, you need to create an account in the app, scan your passport, although they need your passport on the counter as well (duplicated process). Overall our check-in took some 20+ minutes, complete waste of time. A pure example of misusing technology. Apart from that really good stay.

Very modern and compact private rooms. Great location, in front of the park and only 15min walk to the Rainbow Village. Food court next door. You can book Bromo and Waterfall tours at the hostel, great prices :) There are many toilets and showers available and quite clean.

Children below 10 should not be allowed.. they started running around and knocking on doors at 05:30 a.m. When we would turn the light on after sleeping it would always jump to 61% intensity which is not nice when you are just waking up.

The hotel has a great central location, making it very convenient for getting around. The room and the common areas are clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

However, the noise levels were a big drawback. It was quite loud even after 10 PM and started up again before 6 AM, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. While the location and cleanliness are excellent, the noise might be an issue if you're looking for a peaceful stay.

The capsule was a good value for money. It was very clean and cozy. We usually don't sleep in hostels but would definitely come back! The wifi was also fast. We didn't use the breakfast. The bathrooms were cleaned quite often.

It would be nice to have cabins with a sink and mirror. Bed was a bit too hard. For longer stays a bit more space for luggage would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pods. It felt very futuristic and cool set up. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and it was a fun experience for sure. Great location and within walking distance from most things including the train station.

I guess for longer stay as it is a small space you can’t really unpack your bags but perfect for short stay.

Extremely safe, super clean, great facilities, toiletries and towels provided, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the dining area with the little kitchen is a huge plus and so is the water refill, the AC runs everywhere so no flying bugs or mosquitos! Highly recommend!

The stairs: it was difficult for me to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs/you can't use cash to purchase food or drinks just bank cards!

Bobopod is really the perfect hostel chain. The quality of service is perfect and consistent in two cities that I've visited in Java. I really hope it will extend to other regions of Indonesia. I always book with this chain if I can.

Nothing, super friendly staff. Everything is clean and quiet.
