Nice hotel, friendly staff. Large room.

My room did not have a window, which wasn't too bad because the room was spacious, but I personally prefer a window.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff allowed us a slightly earlier check in (12 noon) which was nice. Hotel can store luggage (arranged at the concierge). The hotel is close to Tjong A Fie Mansion and the Grand Mosque, which are the 2 key attractions in Medan. It was easy to take a Grab from Medan Airport to the hotel (local Uber equivalent; download and set up the Grab app beforehand and follow the instructions in the Grab app to get to the pick up area; Grab personnel at the pick up area gave us a discount code to make the booking). We also had a look at the airport train station option, but there was definitely a lack of footpaths from the train station to the hotel which would be inconvenient to navigate with luggage.

We requested a non-smoking room and the hotel put us on a non-smoking floor which was perfect. However, there was still a faint smell of cigarette smoke coming in through the air conditioner - probably someone smoking too close to the air-intake for the air conditioning unit.

I like the spaciousness, alcove for luggage and clothes, bathroom layout. I like the comfort, security and friendliness.

Air-conditioning was limited to 25C so was quite warm in the day. Perhaps it was because of the renovations so the power was limited. My unit faces corridor so was noisy at times, could insert foam under main door to dampen noise. Three legged stool is not as stable as a four legged one, at one point I nearly fell off while sitting to make tea. There isn't a bar fridge which would be handy for cool drinks and fruits as Medan is hot. Could put in a small armchair or sofa as there's plenty of space under the wall mounted tv. Room Phone seems not functioning cos I had trouble calling room service, front desk and trying to ask about the Ramadan buffet.

Everything. It is well located in Medan. The staff are exceptional and couldnt do more for you. The room (for which I was kindly upgraded) was spacious and comfortable, with great facilities - safe, fridge, hairdryer, aircon. Breakfast was accommodating to most / all diets - I was concerned as a vegetarian but I left having had plenty.

Rooms were decent sized, toilets were slightly small but usable. The room we had, had a slight odour but was easily fixed when the toilet door was kept closed. The staffs were exceptionally friendly, and there are staffs working throughout the night. Location of the property was quite central and overall felt safe in this hotel.

We always stay here when in Medan. We love the staff members, they are always warm, welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is great and so is the food from the restaurant. The location is great too, close to the train station, to Centerpoint Mall and Pasar Ikan Lama, the textile market.

For the breakfast for me ...full of variety u can choose....all staff very good.... Environment calm....maybe for the next trip I can stay here again

Don't have YouTube or Netflix channel. ...only a few channel u can see ....and for room maybe hotel management must put room fragrance....

The hotel is a calm and quiet place in the city that is Medan. There's lots of things to see and do around the hotel, one street from the hotel is a night market with great food and cold beers (across the street enter a small alleyway). The center, malls, train station and Little India are not far away. Maybe a bit far if it's hot outside, but you can always get a taxi in front of the hotel or ask the helpful hotel staff.

The location was great. Nearby to the city centre. Plenty of restaurants and food stalls in walking distance. The room is clean. The bed is comfy. Wifi is working fine, even though some might be blank.

There is small window only for the street side. If the door can be fixed to be more quiet when opened/closed, so the sounds will not distract when neighbors back in the middle of the night.

Stayed here for a few nights recently and would highly recommend! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the room (deluxe) was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast is really really great.
