Very friendly hosts! With a scooter, easy access to the ocean. In the meantime you are in the midsts of nature and a local tast of Bali. We enjoyed that a lot! The bungalows have spaceous rooms with spaceous balconies. Nice that there is a pool as well! And a cosy garden. We had a very good experience here! Thank you for the welcoming atmosphere!

The smell (and visual trace) of humidity and mold is quite strong in the rooms. But we started to understand that we probably had to accept it as a part of the climat of Bali/Nusa Penida. I guess it is not the easiest thing to keep houses dry and fresh.

This family hotel is a gem in Nusa Penida. We booked 5 rooms for our large family of 10 people. All the rooms are exceptionally clean and the room costs are reasonable. Even though the hotel is not close to any beach or main attractions, it's location between the Kelingking beach on the east side and the Diamond beach on the west side makes it convenient to visit both locations. The communication of the hotel owner/staff was great. I messaged them on Booking.com and they arranged taxi to pick us up from the harbor. They also arranged taxi to take us to the Kekingling beach for sunset on our first day and the diamond beach for sunrise as well as a snorkeling trip on our second day. They helped us negotiate the price for our snorkeling trip. They even have a restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if we come back to Nusa Penida in the future.

In my opinion they could have more options for food but I understand that they try to keep their staff small as this is a family own hotel.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and helped us organise a snorkeling trip and various taxis to and from the port during our stay. The pool was delightful and the area was very peaceful. The owners' two puppies roamed freely and they were so cute and cuddly!

The location was good for Nusa Penida but required a taxi or motorbike to get anywhere other than a couple of local restaurants (which were good though). The accommodation could have been a bit cleaner (especially the bathrooms) but not out of line with other places we've stayed in Bali.

Best place the stay! Nice quiet area but still close drive to the town. So clean and looked exactly like the pictures! Also the comfiest bed and GOOD aircon :) the family are so lovely and so helpful - we rented scooters from them and they arranged our taxi and offered to arrange our boat. Also really nice breakfast :) Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for having us <3

We loved the hospitality of the people at Alam Selumbung Garden and very much enjoyed our stay there! We can recommend it to everyone, especially when you're looking for a good cost/performance ratio! - Very lovely service and people! - We felt safe and comfortable - Outdoor area was absolutely beautiful with a nice and clean pool! - Comfortable bed with lovely decorations - Ac was working fine! - Bathroom was big and clean - Good location, very close to both Crystal and Gamat Bay, 13 Min drive to habour

Nothing major, just small details!! - almost no storage in the bathroom, a towel rack next to the washbasin would be very useful! - because there is no shower tab / shower curtain the bathroom floor gets quite wet after using the shower. A bathmat to dry the feets in front of the bathroom would be very nice (the mat provided didn't dry the feet properly, so we had wet feet in the bedroom) - there were loud noises from outside of the resort (animals, kids playing drums), if you have a light sleep, earplugs might be necessary

It feels Really familiar, cute dog. The staff are kind. The pool was wonderful. The room was comfortable and lots of space.

It gets noisy quite early in the morning with the construction around and the cars. It’s not so bad but they don’t have a restaurant there you have to walk 5 minutes.

My stay was absolutely perfect. The room was cool and the pool area was beautiful and a great place to relax. The owners were very kind and even drove me to the pier after my stay. The restaurant on site was fantastic but there are other options in the area if you want to explore. I highly recommend.

The family running it are just adorable, always available, always beat advises for beach, eat or go out. They help arrange snorkling trips and others. Very cozy, pool is a plus.

The team is really welcoming and nice. Really want to help as much as possible. The place is lovely and there are only a few rooms so it feels very private. I came for diving in nusa penida so I had to wake up early. Wayan always made sure I can have breakfast before I leave to dive. She also help for taxi bookings, laundry and much more ! Very charming, unique hotel with a swimming pool in a central part. The surroundings are perfectly maintained, including the garden flowers, paths and cleanliness in the rooms, so you can easily relax. I recommend it to everyone.
