This resort is magical!! Easy to find, the landscape is so gorgeous. The cottage my partner & I stayed in was - big, clean, good bathroom & shower, hot water, kettle, fridge and no mosquitos/bugs. No maintenance problems. You have your own spacious porch area. Magical jungle sea view from the dining area, with good breakfast options. Prime location on the west side of Penida. Less than 10 mins from Gamat Bay, 15 to Crystal Bay, and 35 to Kelingking. And less than 15 back to the city. Giant pool that gets sun and shade! The owner was so helpful, friendly, great English and lent us their high quality snorkel to use. Can organize anything you need for good prices. We wish we spent our whole time on Penida here because it was so perfect! Thanks again!! We will be back!!

Absolutely nothing.

It was an excellent resort. Specially Mr. Idham made our stay more special with his lovely, sweet & helpful nature. He is an awesome guy who is always there for you and make your stay more comfortable. He has always a smiling face and one can feel the warmth of his truly honest nature. Overall Idham gets a 10/10 marks. The resort is in a awesome location, very very neat & clean, in the laps of the nature. You can see the Gamat Bay & mountains from the bungalows. Bungalow No 5 has the best location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage. Quite big. I suggest every one to select Arya Resort at Nusa Penida. Amok Restaurant is very near with the best views of sunset. They have a free pick-up / drop facility. This was also suggested by Idham . Overall, an excellent place to stay. You can have food at the nearby restaurants . Lamima, a nearby Warung provide very good food and also has room delivery system free of cost.

Beautiful jungle setting with a great pool & view. Bungalows were clean, comfortable & spacious. The woven ceilings were a work of art. The manager, Idam, was super friendly, extremely responsive to any needs, and helped us book excursions, restaurants and drivers. Would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like but similar to many accomodations in Nusa Penida you will need a car or driver but, drivers/taxis are very affordable.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, Nyonman was the person in charge and was very helpful since the beginning. The location is great if you are looking for a middle ground between the port and close to beautiful attractions such as Kelingking Beach and others. The property is sorrounded by jungle and has a pool that is 24 hours. Breakfast is included. They also rent scooters for 100,000 rupiah the day. The room has a lot of space and has high ceilings. It is very quiet so if you are looking for quietness and relaxation this is the place.

For future ideas in regards to renovations or upgrades. I think the bathroom should be one. I think it would be a more pleasant experience if they upgrade that section.

The varying elevation of the terrain creates a truly stunning and unique landscape. The pool is spacious and very comfortable, complemented by swings, cozy sun loungers, beautiful garden and a generously sized dining area. Every moment we spent here was pure enjoyment.

While it wasn’t an issue for us, keep in mind that the steep paths might be a bit challenging for people with limited mobility. Also, there was a shortage of soap in the bathroom soap dosator, but we stayed too short to worry about it.

Very nice resort in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful pool and cabanas. The host is very kind and took good care of us. He organized our tours and activities (including the best massage therapists) at a good price! Very tasty breakfast too…

A bit more on the quiet side and isolated but didn’t bother us as we needed a break from touristic and busy areas

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family in 2 bedroom villa. It has 2 king sized beds both with separate bathrooms and aircon units. They put a mattress in lounge area for my son to sleep on. Lounge has a kettle and fridge and a bench area if you want to put your laptop. Really IM’s are spacious and beautiful in teak with high thatched ceiling. The place is unbelievably quiet and peaceful away from the chaos of the town / roads and tourist attractions. The pool is stunning and surrounded by vegetation. There are few insects - I saw 1 mosquitoes during stay. Breakfast is great juice, coffee, tea, fruit and choice of Indonesian or eggs or pancakes. Bar is very limited- they only sell small Bintang and soft drinks / juices. Meal choice is limited but really good. All fresh and decent sized portions - better than restaurant around the corner - so we ate here and bought our own wine. They do not charge the joke /15% surcharge and are very honest! They rent scooters for 100k pd. pickup drop off from port is 150k by Yan in car. Drive to port is about 15mins but traffic when we arrived was gridlocked and it took us 1 hour! You can walk to Gamat bay in 30 mins which is great for a day out with a restaurant on beach and toilet etc. snorkelling is nice - and saw turtles. They can arrange snorkelling trip 200k and driving trip to Kellingking / Angel Billabong etc for 700k including entrance charges. Great natural wonders but tourism hell at its worst! Crystal bay is 10 mins on a scooter. Pretty busy loads of restaurants and bars etc snorkelling off beach. Overall this is a great place to stay with lovely peaceful ambience. There are small things they can do to make it better. However they did not bother me. People are warm attentive and genuine . But that makes it so wonderful!

Remote - need scooter or taxi to go most places.

Very beautiful place to stay in Nusa Penida. Convenient location. 15 minutes by bike to the port, half an hour to the Kelingking beach. There is a store nearby. And very close by there is a wonderful restaurant, Red Chili Penida, which was recommended by the hotel manager. The room is spacious and has everything you need. Lovely terrace overlooking the garden. Large swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast.

We only stayed for 2 nights but it was very good. All the staff was extremely helpful and very nice, especially Nyoman. The environment was really quiet and peaceful. The food was also really nice and will also be ready if you order earlier. Pickup was also there for us from the resort. A tour guide was also provided to us who showed us around the main tourist attractions in Nusa Penida. Overall our stay was great.
