My wife and I stayed at Maua Nusa Penida for three nights and from the moment we arrived we were blown away . The view from this resort is nothing short of spectacular our villa had an even more unforgettable view . We had breakfast, lunch and Dinner and thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had . The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was ever too much trouble . We stayed at four Hotels on our Bali trip and this one is a must return.

the quality of food is varying a lot, breakfast is great but dinner options lack and does not live up to the high price they are charging. they take a heafty markup on transport from the harbour to the hotel and the snorkelling trip they offer is simply them booking a trip which would take you 20 mins but they charge you with at least a 40% markup on the price.

Totally amazing, very friendly, highly skilled staff. Wonderful pool with astonishing view. Nice mixture of balineze and international cuisine, high quality, delicious dishes. Superb spa services.

Overall the roads of Nusa Penida are totally devastated, but I guess a 5star hotel like this should invest to some road maintanence. Also, some of the services adverted are not available due to the third party yoga instructor (you should arrange such needs days before your arrival). While the location is awesome, not so much to do in the nearby, and as the roads are awfully bad condition, the hotel does not provide scooter renting due to safety reasons.

Our private villa had the most stunning pool and view. Loved the privacy. The room was so clean and spacious. Loved the outdoor shower. Comfortable table bed, and great AC.

Had an amazing stay at Maua. Probably the best hotel, with the best views, I’ve ever been at. The pictures online doesn’t do this place justice. Looks so much better in real life. Got an upgrade to a Pool villa, and it was the most beautiful hotel room, I’ve ever stayed in. If you ever stay here, get the room with the private pool! Its worth it. Staff was great, got a really good massage at the spa, great food at the restaurant. 10/10 can’t recommend enough if you’re ever visiting Nusa Penida

If I have to say something, the gym could have some more equipment, like a a cable machine and some heavier weights. Other than that I have nothing negative to say.

In one sentence: by far the best hotel I’ve experienced in my life! Many thanks to the incredible crew that makes the magic happen. Many thanks to Bastra as well, who was really kind to us and spoke French fluently. We really appreciated feeling close to the team. They made us feel at home. On the other hand, the room completely immerge in nature, had a breathtaking view of the ocean bay, making the experience even more unforgettable. World Class finishes, outstanding menu, service that you only hear rumours of. This is a remote island for day trippers seeing its natural beauty. There is nothing else here. But that didn’t matter, the service and facilities in the hotel meant we could stay for weeks. The spa is outstanding, the infinity pool is wonderful. They brought a Yogi in from Bali to provide a 7am yoga class for my wife and I. On our last day, we were driven by a private guide in the Hotel car around the island to see all the beauty spots, taken for lunch and then professionally transferred to our helicopter to take us to the mainland. The guide tracked our Heli in from Denpasar and sorted all the luggage etc for us. I cannot speak highly enough about the attention to detail and quality of this stay.

Our stay could not have been any better. Everything was amazing. I’ve stayed at countless 5-star hotels and resorts around the world. MAUA Nusa was definitely a 5-star experience. Modern and clean rooms, wonderful staff and a delicious restaurant with breathtaking views all over the property. Had such a wonderful time here!!

Everything. The staff are really nice and friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. The food is very high quality and delicious. The views are incredibly beautiful. Its close to some amazing local attractions in the west of the island. We organised transport to/from bali through the hotel which was super efficient and good price. Its a luxurious and relaxing stay in a beautiful slice of paradise. Really nice for couples looking for a romantic getaway (we went on our honeymoon). Facilities are very well maintained and clean. They communicate really well and always are one step ahead of their guests ehich makes you feel very looked after. Just amazing.

Everything! The hotel is exceptional in every way! The staff were amazing. Went out of their way tl give us the smoothest and most comfortable stay. Beautiful location. From our villa you could see the sunset and mount agung in bali to our right. Loved the architecture and their amenities. Loves everhthing about it.
