It’s very kid-friendly (family paradise). The waterpark, pool, playground, and lots of activities for kids and adults ;) Staffs are very welcoming and they will assist you in every way. In main building I think they lack of staff and they can’t do it for the guest most especially in the dining area. Its just there’s more selection in main building but otherwise I love the staffs in family paradise 😍

We spent 5 days in Grand mirage and the selection of food for breakfast is almost the same from the mains to the desserts. The food on our last day like the pasta and nasi Goreng is very spicy 🌶️ unlike last 4 days it’s for everyone’s palate and bit disappointing as my baby love pasta.

The staff were very attentive and quick. The facilities were nice, and great variety for breakfast. All pools were clean Room was nice and big

We didnt enjoy the fact that everything felt so disconnected. From the main area there 'seems' to be a little walk way from within the resort, the leads you to the family side, however it ends and your in some dingy area and still have to walk around to get into the family side. Also the lazy pools seems very disconnected from the resort as well. Need more lounges/beds that actually lay flat or more of the beds that they have on the family side on the main side.

It was a really good property for kids.

We were travelling with grand parents. We didn’t know there was a kid paradise part which we were booked into the grand parents were booked into the adult part of the hotel. It would be helpful if we knew it was 2 different hotels. One of the water slides in the kids pool is not fit for kids my 5 year old daughter hit her head on it it didn’t hurt her to much and my 8 year old cut his finger on the water slide. It was the blue one.

This was our second time staying at this resort; Dec 2023 & Dec 2024.The kids (12,11,5) enjoyed it so much last year, we just had to come back this year but this time with my parents.We stayed one night at Dynasty Resort in Kuta and we could not wait to check out and go back to the Grand Mirage.The cleanliness, facilities, the crowd, the location -it is so much better!House keeping are super attentive and the friendliest people.Cleaned our room in the morning, replaced all towels, then come back in the evening to empty bins, replace towels again if needed.If you're not in the room, they remake your bed with a cute frangipani arrangement saying "Good night". It's the little things that we love about the Grand Mirage.The resort is split into 2 buildings, a short walk between the 2 either on the street or on the beach.Family resort is obviously for the families with children who can enjoy the pool with the water slide, playground, water park and games room.The Thalasso is mainly for families with older children or just for adults which features an adults only pool with amazing beach view and another pool.My parents stayed at the Thalasso and we stayed at the Family resort in the Juniors Suite.Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite - highly recommend!Each day we would alternate where to have the amazing buffet breakfast.The Chopsticks Chinese seafood restaurant with the voucher you receive from the resort brought our dinner bill to $130 and that was for 7 people.For reference, we're islanders so we can EAT :) Coco mart situated directly opposite to the entrance of the resort was a bonus for cheap snacks. Plenty of spas and tattoo parlours on the street too. Each night we would try a different restaurant on the street. Highly recommend Happy Buddha sports bar and restaurant; owned by a lovely couple from Melbourne that's only a short walk from the resort.

No fault of the resort, but the family in the room above us (we were in room 112) were very noisy. You could hear the children's foot steps as they run around and would bang on what seemed like everything.

We came here on a family holiday for 10 days, some of the family had kids (aged 4 and 5) and some didn't but this did not change how we enjoyed the resort. The family area for the kids was fantastic! The kids had a great time making friends in kids club, playing in the pool and on the waterslide or splash park, movie nights in tipis was brilliant and all the additional little activities, animal shows and free fairy floss, all of which included even though we didn't take the all inclusive package. The kids were also allowed in the pool on the other side of the resort with the swim up bar, of which they loved sitting at the bar with an apple juice. The Adults only infinity pool is great, very chill, great views of the beach and ocean. Drinks can be ordered here. The beds are limited as its a smaller pool but made no difference to us as we were in the water. The rooms are absolutely spotless, a fantastic size and have everything you could possibly need. They are cleaned daily with clean towels etc... We didn't pack or lock any belongings away, phones, laptops, jewellery etc... There was absolutely no issues about security (obviously our choice). All the staff were extremely friendly, always happy and smiling, always say hello, go above and beyond to be helpful and expect nothing in return. The free breakfast was good with a big selection on all food and drinks. We at in the resort a lot, lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks etc.. and after 10 days we were dreading the final bill but we were surprised on checkout at how cheap it was, even though the menus are priced, after days we just lost track. There are shops, bars and restaurants across the road from the resort. This was great to be able to find a local bar that played the AFL whilst away! Even though the food out was good, a couple of the party got really sick after this including both the kids so maybe be careful.

Great stay, the place is top notch and facilities are in good shape, the breakfast is great and has wide variety of cuisines, the pool is very nice and the infinity pool have chaise longues where you can lay down and watch the ocean while relaxing. The staff are super nice and super friendly, I asked for connected room, and on check-in date it was not available, but next day they arranged for the connected rooms and made sure that we moved everything with us to the new rooms

The beach is not suitable for swimming, it has seaweed and is very shallow to some distance (it is unfortunate as the water was nice and the beach was sandy). The restaurant dinner options were not always good (the Seafood night was good, but the Indonesian one was not so good). The water sports advertised at the beach are a little bit expensive.

We stayed at the Grand Mirage Family Paradise. A resort with a load of facilities. No lack of family activities, great pool with slide. Enjoyed the new Lazy River (over at Grand Mirage Thalasso) Friendly staff and clean room (we stayed in the family room). There is a convenience store just outside the resort, across the road and there are a few eating places around. But there are already quite a number of restaurants within the resort

A number of the facilities are actually over at the main resort (Grand Mirage Thalasso), such as the main dining spot for breakfast (much larger than the one offered at the Family Paradise Resort) and the games room (with pool table etc). As for the beach front, will need to walk over to the Thalasso side to enjoy it. The beach at the Family Paradise end is not suitable for any beach activities at all. Finally, we were assigned a room that was at the front of the resort, just steps away from the main entrance and main reception area. This means that there were a lot of families passing our room. This resulted in a lot of noise very early (6am) in the morning due to the children and people passing by and talking loudly. No fault of the resort but now I know better.

Our second time staying at the Grand Mirage. The kids club is amazing, the additional activities are terrific too. Our 4 kids loved the turtle release and animal show visit, and the foam party. All the staff are so kind, and go out of their way to assist you. The breakfast is terrific, and the ability to move between the Family Paradise and main Grand Mirage for breakfast and using all the pools is excellent. We loved that they cleaned rooms and topped up toiletries every day.

Cost of food and drinks within the hotel itself is quite pricey. But quality is good nevertheless.

We had a wonderful family holiday at the resort. Its truly kid-friendly place. My son absolutely loved the kids swimming pool and entertainment area- he had such a great time every day. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also liked that there were two places available for breakfast. Overall it was great experience for the whole family and we definitely would recommend it to anyone travelling with kids.

The only downside was the laundry facilities - when i did some washing, the tumble dryer unfortunately ruined a few pieces of clothing( some got burned and ripped in spots). I wouldnt recommend using the laundry.

Grand Mirage had everything we needed to just switch off and enjoy. You could honestly spend your whole time at the hotel without needing to go anywhere else. The lazy pool was so relaxing and peaceful. The other pools were also great, and the beach had all the activities and experiences you’d want, right there. We tried a couple of their restaurants and the food was delicious. The service was just as good – friendly and attentive every time. All the staff were amazing and really went out of their way to help. A special thanks to Wardana and Kohe who were both incredibly kind and helpful during our stay.
