Molamola House with bungalows and restaurant is a perfect paradise if you want to be on the beach with top seaviews on Nusa Lembongan and like to eat a range of freshly prepared food. Komang is the very friendly and really helpful local owner of these beautiful bungalows on the waterfront in Mushroom Bay. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and you can walk across the beach and into the clear blue sea for swims. Molamola is also perfectly situated next to where the Dream beach ferries arrive from and leave from Sanur. We can only extremely highly recommend to you if you are looking for a beautiful authentic Balinese bungalow beach holiday

The room and the bathroom were very big. There is an overhead fan as well as the aircon. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the evening before dinner and in the morning before dinner. There was a big undercover area under the villa with bean bags.

The steps up to the villa and the steps down to the bathroom were steep and the spaces between them were large. I found them a bit scary. However it should be noted that I am 69 and my husband is 73. Despite the curtains open and all the lights on it was still quite dark, even in the day, I needed a torch to find things in my suitcase. My eyes are good.

Paradise awaits you at MolaMola. Ocean view hut is absolutely divine. Walk down the steps from your hut straight onto the beach and into the water. Sit on your deck and watch the waves roll in. Sun chairs, umbrellas and a beautiful tree for shade. Breakfast lunch and dinner all available at the cafe. I recommend the CapCay! Beanbag on your lower deck for afternoon relaxing. Room was spacious, bed super comfortable, clean, wonderful bathroom with toiletries, air con cold, wifi great, beach towels provided. Staff are super. Rooms seviced daily, and they will arrange tours, snorkelling, scooter if required.Take the fastboat directly from the beach. The ultimate beach front accommodation. You can spend days here in natural luxury. Swim, eat, sleep, repeat. Snorkel right off the beach and surf hire and minimart close by. Just perfect 👌. Already planning a return visit!

That I didn't book long enough!

The location is amazing , right on a cozy beach with several different restaurants and beachclubs. Great for swimming, sunbathing and going out for dinner. The beach huts are amazing as well, we especially liked the small balcony with amazing view where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning (which you can make yourself in the hut). The staff is great too , they arranged everything for us , trips, motorbikes and above all they serve delicious food in the evening at very low prices. Special shout out to Tinu who is the most friendly person you can encounter. This guy is just continuously smiling and is just amazing.

Mola Mola is in a great position right at the end of the bay. We stayed in the far right cabin at the front, giving us a beautiful view along the bay. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The restaurant, which is right on the beach, had nice food and cold drinks.

Beside our cabin were the kitchen and toilet, so there was some noise from that and the restaurant nearby. On the last night we had a rat visiting our room again and again, chewing through plastic bags and bottles.

The staff is super nice and friendly. They work long hours, so smile at them, and be a nice person. I really recommend their tours, we did two days in the morning and it was incredible! The boatman did not speak English, but he was lovely and we did not have any problems with it. Another thing I recommend is to eat at the MolaMola restaurant in front of the beach. My wife is prone to having stomach problems and we had all our meals over there (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and all safe - we had juices/smoothies with ice and no problem! The food is fresh so it takes time to prepare - don't go in a rush there, relax. I saw some reviews saying the beach was not clean, but it is not true. It is clean and we swan over there. The bed was comfortable, and the room and toilet were super clean. The accommodation is very simple, so if you are looking for luxury this is not your place.

Our air conditioner was not working very well. The material of how the room is built doesn't isolate the aircon as well. When we asked for a fan in the reception, they offered their only one at the reception, but of course, we didn't accept - the staff were working and we were on holiday! So, thank you so much for everyone being so kind. Was hard to sleep in a room with a hot temperature, but if you don't have problems with it, go for it!

We loved our stay at MolaMola house, perfect location right on the beach at beautiful Mushroom Bay. It was the cheapest accommodation during our 5 destination trip, so great value. We are a couple in our early 60’s and thought it might attract a younger crowd, but the clientele were actually a nice mix of younger and more mature couples, so it suited us well and we felt very comfortable. The 5 beach view Lumbungs have been refurbished and the bathrooms repositioned upstairs. The 5 garden view Lumbungs still have the downstairs bathrooms, which aren’t exactly great and are a bit of a pain, but the owners told us they are being refurbished later this year. We had garden view Lumbung 6, which still had a bit of a restaurant and beach view and was nice and private too. The beach is great for swimming but we still missed not having a pool. The included breakfast was pretty basic but the restaurant is actually very good and it’s a lovely place for a casual dinner. They light a bonfire on the beach each night, making for a very cool vibe. The staff organised a snorkelling trip to Manta Bay and Chrystal Bay, so for 550k we got a little old man in a traditional outrigger. It took about 3 hour total, swum with Mantas and the fish and coral were the best I’ve ever seen. So, MolaMola house is a great little rustic place on NL’s best beach, cool vibe, sandy toes, tasty food, good value, great location, lovely hosts.

Beach is beautiful for swimming but we still missed having a pool.

Mushroom Bay Beach is lovely and staying in a lumbung at MolaMola is so romantic, especially the beach view lumbungs. Choice of breakfast from the menu (continental, American or Indonesian), lovely food & drink available all day, or wander along the beach and inland and eat at one one many restaurants and warungs. You are right on the beach so there is sand, which inevitably travels into the hut, which wasn't a problem for us. The shower was great, the bed comfy, aircon and mosquito net in the room. You can arrange transport via MolaMola from/to anywhere in Bali, the boat lands on the beach just 50m from rooms.

The room would benefit from a bit more storage for clothes, as in somewhere to hang or shelve clothes.

It's amazing value for money. The bamboo huts are incredible charming. You are directly at the beach, the restaurant is great, and the room has all the essentials you need, including AC. The bean bags under each hut are great to hang out and relax in the evenings. It is very easy to rent a buggy, scooter, or do tours from the hotel. The staff is very friendly. We love Mushroom Bay!

You get what you pay for - don't expect luxury. The facilities are dated, and towels/sheets are older/ stained. The rooms are on the smaller end, and bathrooms are very simple. There are stairs going up to the main bedroom and down to the bathrooms, so if mobility is an issue, then this might not be the place you want to stay at. It was not an issue for us. My 4 year old did just fine (with help). Again, in relation to what you pay for, you get really great value. The location is unbeatable on Nusa Lembongan!

Great location just in front of the Mushroom bay beach. Luckily my room was beach front (they have 10 rooms, and 3 of them are beach front. The rests are garden view at the back side), so it takes 0 minutes to the beach. I could always enjoy the sound of the waves. Don't expect luxury hotel service here as you know this is Mola Mola "HOUSE", but you may receive friendly and cozy service at the reception and restaurant. Room was simple and clean. For me it was something like glamping with so much fun. My 4yo son was also pretty excited with the room. They have all day dining restaurant. The menu was sufficient and price were also lower than the tourist area of Bali. They offer room service also, so you may enjoy a cup of coffee at your room balcony. Their bed is canopy net style, so you will be able to sleep without being bothered by mosquitoes. (but don't expect too much because their location is on the beach of a remote island rich in nature. Have fun!!!

This is not a complaint, but be careful if you swim in the sea in front of the hotel because the tides can be strong at times, so please be careful, especially if you are with children.
