Thank you Daisy and Kadek, you were such wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much to ask. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a delightful stay. They organised for us to be picked up at the airport, driven to the ferry, booked the ferry, picked up from the ferry and taken to their front door. Their premises are 10-minute walk from the beach in a quiet part of town. We connected to the extended family and made dear friends all around. They organised for us to go snorkelling and we enjoyed fabulous fresh-caught fish each night at the local family general store/restaurant. We had a stack of massages and some great walks to local sights.

Of course leaving was a little difficult and the road was a little bit bumpy, but not too bad. We had a torch to walk at night and it was fine.

Always a pleasure to stay with Dessy and Kadek and their wonderful family. Lucky COttage has an excellent location (2 min to Mushroom Bay, the beach, restaurants ...) in a quiet spot. You can rent a scooter or hitch a ride with a 'taxi' to other parts of the island(s). Questions about what to do, where to get a massage, ... they'll help you. Breakfast is basic and nice, freshly catered to your wishes. The rooms are kept spotless. It's just the best place to come and relax and enjoy Nusa Lembongan/Ceningan/Penida as much as possible.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The room is spacious, very clean, and airy, with a large bathroom and constant hot water—definitely a great plus. You have everything you need in the room, including a fridge and a kettle, making the stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the omelet was my favorite! Daisy and her husband are amazing hosts—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They assisted me with everything I needed. They helped me to get to Ceningan Island and also organizing my transfer when I left. I truly felt welcomed and safe here. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful stay, just a 3-minute walk from Mushroom Bay Beach, where you can find several restaurants. I highly recommend Mola Mola for a relaxing dinner with an ocean view. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! 🤍 Suksma! 🙏🏻

We had an exceptional stay from start to finish! The property is beautiful, including the huts, pool and landscaping. The service is absolutely top-notch. They helped organise our transport from the airport to the ferry to the hotel and then onto Uluwatu. The breakfast each morning was fantastic (especially the banana pancakes) and they were so helpful in making recommendations on what to do/where to eat and helped us organize a snorkelling trip. We would visit again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend you stay with them!

We loved our entire stay!

The location was perfect just 8 mins from Mushroom Beach and some nice restaurant. The staff was amazing, they helped us with everything from organising tour to book a ferry and taxi transport. The location was very peaceful and clean only 4 bungalows so it’s perfect if you want enjoy a bit of quiet time. The breakfast was good too everything been made fresh in the time morning. I was very happy with everything especially with the staff how kind they were.

The only problem it’s the street around the area were the hotel is located but it’s nothing to do with the property. It’s very bumping has its a lot of stones and it’s a bit tricky trying to drive a motorcycle especially in the night as it’s not many light, but nothing major.

Daisy and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. They did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable, even taking me to Nusa Ceningan on my final day because I didn't hire a scooter. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and the fruit and coffee are incredibly flavourful! The rooms are beautiful and private, with a massive bathroom and the location is perfect as you are a 2-minute walk from Mushroom Bay, and a 12-minute walk to Sandy Bay/Devil Tears/The Cliff Top as there is a secret path that runs out the back so cuts 20 minutes off your journey. I would recommend anyone to stay here

Everything was perfect

One of my favourite stays while travelling Indonesia. The premises is beautiful and the hosts take very good care of it. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and comfortable beds. The banana pancakes were amazing at breakfast! It’s in a nice quiet location with walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Daisy and her husband are two of the kindest people I have met. They are so welcoming and friendly and offer to help with anything. They told me lots of information about the island and booked my trips for me. They gave me breakfast earlier on the days I was going on the trips. They definitely made my stay so much better. It was honestly perfect!

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed at. A cute family run place with 4 villas! It was a 5ish minute walk to mushroom bay and all the restaurants that way, about a 10ish minute walk to sandy bay/devils tear area. The owners, Desi and Kadek were fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about them, they were the most helpful, kind, and hospitable hosts. They helped us arrange transport to and from the island, as well as took us themselves to the yellow bridge to catch a boat to Nusa penida. They were always around the resort somewhere for anything we needed. Very friendly anytime you see them throughout the day as well, easy to have a conversation with! They also have water and beer to purchase which was very handy to have close. The included breakfasts in the morning were simple but delicious meals they make right there, there were 3 different options you could choose from each morning. We also rented a scooter from them but we did find it more difficult to drive on the island as the roads are very narrow and bumpy so keep that in mind if you’re not a confident scooter driver. Overall I couldn’t recomend this place enough, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

We spent three weeks at the Lucky Cottage. It's just a short walk from Mushroom Bay beach and within walking distance of convenience stores and many restaurants. Daisy and Kadek were incredibly accommodating, providing daily room cleaning. Our bungalow had everything we needed, and we appreciated the option to use either the AC or ceiling fan, as well as amenities like the small fridge, hot water shower, mosquito net, and mosquito liquid plug-in repellent, pool towels, flannels and bath towels in the room. The entire place, including the small pool, was kept clean and tidy, providing a refreshing escape during the hot, humid days. We also appreciated their recommendations on places to have Indonesian dishes, and watch Balinese dancing. Our favourite part of breakfast was the Balinese coffee and fresh tropical fruit. The omelettes were also delicious. Daisy and Kadek also helped arrange our transfer from the airport to the island, which went smoothly. We also hired a motorbike from them for the 1st couple days to explore the area. When leaving, They even kindly escorted us on their motorbikes with our small backpacks to catch our next boat back to Bali. For the majority of our stay, we were fortunate not to encounter any bugs like cockroaches, although a few appeared during the last two nights (possibly from a neighbouring property). However, Kadek and Daisy promptly addressed the issue and provided us with spray. Their quick response and care made our stay.

We had the best 3 nights at The Lucky Cottage. Desi and Kadek were wonderful hosts. So friendly and warm - nothing was too much trouble. Renting a scooter was so easy from them and really cheap, and they helped us arrange an impromptu snorkeling trip one afternoon which was so much fun. The breakfasts were freshly prepared to order each morning (banana pancakes were lovely and the omelettes are yum!) along with fresh orange juice and a pot of hot coffee. The room was gorgeous, very tastefully decorated with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, air con AND a ceiling fan! The decking on the front of each little hut/bungalow was lovely to sit out on each evening. The location was also fabulous, just a 2 minute walk to mushroom bay beach with a few amazing restaurants, and about 10 mins by scooter to the yellow bridge for Nusa Ceningan (a cool day trip. Recommend Suku beach club!) Close to other warungs, shops, restaurants and bars on the island. All in all a lovely and unique place to stay on a beautiful little island. We would recommend it to anyone!

The only downside was that our shower was pretty weak! Only seemed to get more than a trickle if you flushed the toilet (a funny discovery) and the temperature was either scolding hot or a bit cold (which is fine if it's a particularly warm day!). No big issue if you have short hair but washing my long, thick hair was a mission! A small shame as it would have been a faultless stay other than the shower.
