Martie & his brother (the hosts) were excellent & attentive to any special requests. Ketut who works at the villas was also excellent and no request seemed to hard. Indeed, all the staff at Sunset were lovley and welcoming. The morning pot of Balinese coffee brought to our room was especially a delight. The bungalows are extremely large and opposite a large swimming pool that has shade covers which was a welcome relief in the heat of the day. The resort itself has 3 or 4 swimming pools so we were spoilt for choice. The most amazing part, however was the ocean views from the resorts large upper deck & bar/restaurant. This location was particularly popular at sunset and/or when having a cocktail. Al in all I would highly recommend Sunset resort.

The bed could have been more comfy or at least a mattress topper provided.

Loved the pools, nice peaceful area. The bungalow's felt private and right next to the pools. Sunsets were incredible.

The room had a huge ceiling and was quite dark. The mosquito net was a bonus. We had an outdoor shower attached to our room which was a fun experience. Others had internal showers however needing to use stairs in the bathroom from the door. May be of concern if someone was wet and slipped or feel down the stairs in the night when accessing the bathroom. The view of the cliff was great and quite memorizing - when calm and rough. The owners were friendly and some remembered you by name. Zelda, the resident dog was super friendly and help those in the group with some comfort therapy. Having food cooked on site is a bonus and very convenient as you are not close to a variety of dining places. The breakfast was great and all that you would need. There are a couple of small markets near by for water and a little further away more food. Getting around from this location isn't easy. Ideally a scooter is the best option. There is only so far you can walk however ideally a truck is better for a large group though it is expensive so it limited how often we explored.

Overall it felt like it was at a nice tropical caravan park, rather than a swanky hotel which suited our needs and budget. Some maintenance could be improved; such as the deck chairs by the pool cleaned more regularly, weeding in the cement areas or garden bed could be looked in to, rather than sweeping leaves daily. To access the hotel by truck was a very bumpy road the last 100m or so.

We stayed 4 nights at Sunset Villa Lembongan and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet spot with breathtaking views, yet close enough to explore everything on the island with ease. The villa itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after every detail with genuine warmth and hospitality. Communication was smooth and effortless, and we felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived. Sunset Villa really lived up to its name – the evening views were unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Nusa Lembongan. We will definitely be returning.

Large pools Large gardens and space between bungalows. Fabulous views of the sunset with good music/vibe One of our best stays in Bali.

We loved our stay at Sunset Villas' Lembongan! A very quiet and peaceful location, a beautiful traditional balinese villa and 3 amazing pools included in the resort as well. Only about a 5-10 minute drive or scooter trip into the main areas of Nusa Lembongan. The best view in Lembongan for breakfast each morning, and a very affordable option for dinner as well. Highly recommend this place for an easy going stay!

The spot is the perfect place to see the sunset and did not disappoint, The rooms were well position to view the one of 3 pools and the chalets had plenty of room. We arrived at 11am and had no problem getting in earlier, The breakfast on the deck overlooking the amazing ocean view seeing dolphins and Mata ray's jumping out of the water was the icing on the cake, and the pineapple pancake were the key

There was nothing to not like about this place, but beware the bathroom is outside and a big step down no problem for us Oldies loved the sun shining in

Lovely position close to lots of restaurants, Sandy bay beach and Dream beach/Devils tears. Lovely pools and great sunset views. Loved watching the turtles in the bay while eating breakfast. Staff are lovely and can organise anything you need.

Sunset Villas, on the clifftop at Mushroom Bay Nusa Lembongan, are not just worth the view but the wonderfully priced rooms, great bed, and fantastic open bathroom 3 x pools on property, including 2 lap pools, good restaurant n close to Devils Tears, Dream n Secret Beaches n a Yellow Bridge to get a bike to Cennigan for great sunset cocktails n dinner. Blacky, the owner, and his staff are attentive, friendly, and accommodating. And, of course, the sunset and general vista are amazing. Saw dolphins, surfing waves, and even a turtle going past. I deffinately recommend a stay here.

Caught the Tannis Fast boat from Sanur Harbour to Mushroom Bay. Difficult for boat to get in on a rough high tide. Disembarked into the water. All driver prices gone up in Lembongan, so at $10 Aus (flat rate now) to drive 5 minutes up a hill did not make me happy. I know people need to make a living but as a Solo female traveller, watching the pennies is a thing !!! No sharing costs here... Also just be aware the water in shower, and pools, is quite salty due to wells in this area.

It was quiet and within walking distance for eating out. The view for sunset was unimpeded. You can see the island in about 4 hours by car. Suggest you don't drive it yourself as it is highly likely you will get lost. There are 3 pools which we used every day (the same one). The villa we had (number 15) was spacious and has a TV (which you had to request). We stayed there for 4 days.
