I recently had the pleasure of staying at Samsara Ubud Resort, and I can’t praise it enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Firstly, the location is a true paradise. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Ubud, it offers a serene and picturesque escape. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and the warm welcome we received set the tone for our entire stay. Now, let’s talk about the food. The dining experience at Samsara Ubud is nothing short of divine. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the flavors were simply exquisite. It’s a food lover’s dream come true. One of the highlights of our stay was the array of complimentary activities they offer. We went on a village walk guided by Mr. Nooh, and it was both fascinating and informative. Mr. Nooh’s insights into the local culture and traditions added depth to our experience. We also tried our hand at rock painting with the talented artist Budi. He patiently taught us the art of painting on rocks, and we got to take our creations home as souvenirs. It was a unique and memorable activity. The kindness and helpfulness of the entire hotel staff, especially Mr. Teja, left a lasting impression on us. Their attentiveness to our needs and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel truly pampered. Our room was a haven of comfort and luxury, equipped with everything we could possibly need. The private pool was a delightful bonus, and even on cooler evenings, it maintained the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip. To top it all off, the resort surprised us with a complimentary cake to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our special occasion even more memorable. In summary, Samsara Ubud Resort exceeded all our expectations. It’s a place where nature’s beauty meets impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and enriching activities. We left with our hearts full of gratitude and beautiful memories.

The food is delicious but they could add variety to breakfast menu.

Great Hospitality, Clean and Top-notch Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Must try complimentary painting, rice field walk and moonlight movie. Massage is great with ginger tea. Private pool gives you freedom to swim anytime. Restaurant food is top class. Room is very nice, netflix works, room serviced twice a day, one of room attendant wrote a very nice letter to us. Upon request towel cake on bed and actual cake was kept in room , with happy birthday made from bamboo parts-front desk did a good job arranging this for us. Close to Saraswati temple, and markets. Definitely recommend.

tip top service from booking until check out! the resort emailed me their list of activities (free and paid) in advance so we could plan our itinerary ahead. the bed and pillows were out of this world and we had one of the best sleeps! food at the kelusa restaurant was top notch. highly recommend the sup buntut, beef burger and steak. the breakfast options were good. there is an option of in villa breakfast (though options are limited) or in restaurant dining. special shoutout to musli, nuh and lia! nuh struck a conversation with us when we were waiting for our gojek. when he found out that we had to set off really early the next morning for our sunrise jeep drive, he offered a wake up call and breakfast box. i was feeling a bit bummed on having to miss out on the breakfast so i was super surprised and touched by the breakfast box offer which was substantial by the way! we really enjoyed our stay here and 100% recommend this resort. we will definitely return here when we come back to ubud!

Their kindness and attention made all the difference — especially when I was feeling under the weather with a bit of “Bali belly.” They truly pampered me with their special tea and an almost surreal amount of bottled water delivered to our room! The morning yoga sessions are a must — calming and beautifully led — and the rice field walk is a peaceful way to connect with the surroundings. Our villa was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and meticulously maintained. Having visited Ubud before, I can say that the level of care and attention to detail at Samsara is truly unmatched. If you’re looking for a serene, luxurious, and thoughtful stay in Ubud, this is the place. Highly recommended!

If I had to suggest just a couple of small improvements: a room fragrance diffuser would be a lovely addition, as the scent of the cleaning detergent can be a bit strong at times. Also, there’s some room to enhance the dining experience, though overall everything was more than satisfactory.

They were always ready to assist with a smile, offering thoughtful recommendations, seamless service, and making us feel like valued guests at every moment. Wonderful Hotel in the Forest behind Ubud. Ubud is a very busy city full of people. So it's nice to escape after a stressful sightseeing day back to this great Hotel with privat Villas and pools and additional outside shower. The arcitecture is lovely. So like the Staff. Everyone is so kind and helpful all the time. The hotel is very clean. We liked it very much and would always come back, when traveling back to ubud. Although the hotel is a little bit outside from ubud (like 20 Minutes car drive), there is a shuttle service two times a day organised from the hotel. Furthermore you can join Yoga, paint and Coffee classes. There are nights with live music and outside cinema nights. The food in the restaurant was great too. Great view in the forest. The breakfast with menu we liked as well very much. Thank you for the great time.

Hospitable staffs, nestled deep within a river valley so they offered quiet environment. Sufficient space for one bedroom pool villa, and we get amenities we need to stay for a week or so. Heated pool, perfect for family with young kids. Invigorating spa.

Restaurant does not provide a large varieties of menu. We start ordering takeaway meals on second day even though we stay in villa all day. They do not have much ample room for jogging and wandering inside the property vicinity.

Everything at Samsara was perfect! The staff, facilities and villa where all fantastic. For me, I love my food and could not fault them in that department as everything was delicious from breakfast to dinner! Also loved all the activities they provided at no extra charge. We did the village walk, painting class and big screen movie night (popcorn provided) and thought they were all great.

Only minor.... We had a few dramas with the tv for the first couple of days before it could be fixed properly. Also, the main pool only has limited pool lounges, so on a nice day it was hard to get a space there unless you were early.
