The hotel is breathtaking, and the staff can not do enough for you. The room was amazing with everything you need and more. The little touches like the turn down service and cookies before bed, we're very nice. The staff remember your name and details about you, making your stay feel very personal. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible effort made to celebrate my husband's birthday. The room was beautifully decorated, and the celebration included a delicious cake and heartfelt festivities. It was a memory we will cherish forever. Stunning hotel in the heart of the jungle - has the "wow" factor. The staff were amazing, super friendly - big shoutout to Kris and Risky in particular! The pools in the main area are amazing with some great views over the local area. Room was big and had everything you need. We appreciated the free shuttle to/from Ubud that the hotel offers. The complimentary sunrise yoga with Andi was an amazing experience - would highly recommend!

We felt that the food in the restaurant could have been slightly better considering the price of the hotel. Also felt like there could have been more of a "vibe" in the evening - would suggest going into Ubud town at night if you are looking for that.

The villa we stayed in would be the highlight. Private with our own pool, room was spacious and attention to detail. Resort pool and area was excellent with attentive staff. We were celebrating our anniversary which the resort went out of their way to make special with wine and cake in our room, as well as the room decorations, thank you Windy

We weren't really able to use the restaurant for breakfast due to unfortunate abundance of bees which swarmed the food and tables. Food overall we thought was average. Accessibility and time to get to the property was also a negative for us. We are an older couple and found for the most part the other guests were much younger

Wow! Kayon is absolutely incredible, the amazing photos represent exactly what you get! Three tiers of amazing pools, jacuzzis and views of the jungle. We had a private Villa and the room and amenities blew us away - indoor and outdoor shower, private pool, deck chairs etc as well as personal buttler. Great gym, excellent food and drinks and a special touch welcoming ceremony. The staff are just phenomenal and bend over backwards for you with nothing being to much to ask - a Massive thank you to Citra, Lia, Adi, Windy and Marta for all they did for us in making our stay so incredible. A must stay if in Ubud!

Privacy and vibe in the jungle

Location wasn't too close to the town

We stayed in the premier room - these rooms are furthest away from the main resort with plenty of privacy to enjoy the personal pool and jacuzzi. They’re nestled in the bottom of the valley overlooking the waterfall but still have a beautiful outlook. They come with a butler service (Krisna was very attentive!) and buggy transportation up to the main resort if you’re not up for the (very steep) walk. The main resort area is also spectacular with multiple pool areas to choose from. They open their doors to visitors from 11 so recommend house guests grab a spot by the main pool before then as it can get a bit busier later on. Recommend a cocktail by the main pool before dinner once the day guests are gone - lovely place to watch the sunset. Food selection is great, perhaps not 5 star but a broad range of cuisines both Indonesian and international which meant we always found something we liked. Finally, if you want to see more of the surrounding areas, the resort can put on a day tour with one of their drivers which we did and had a great day out )a visit to jatiluwih is a must!)

The resort is located 30 mins out of Ubud… longer if during day with traffic. Not a problem if your destination is the resort (and why not, it’s amazing) but if you’re like us and want to see more of the area it can be a little tedious going back and forward from town. The resort puts on a free shuttle 4 times a day which helps. Note if you’re in Ubud for dinner it can be a challenge to get a driver to agree to take you back to resort as it is a 1.5hr round trip for them, best to arrange collection with resort first.
