Everything about our stay was incredible! The staff were amazingly kind, knowledgeable, and helped us with every question we had about visiting the local attractions. The food was delicious, and I recommend the candle lit dinner by the pool as the food was amazing. The breakfast is also delivered straight to your room in the morning at the time of your choosing. It is about half an hour outside of Ubud, but a free taxi is provided if you want to go in and out of the town. The hotel is right next to the beautiful rice terraces, which are stunning and fantastic to walk around. There are also several great restaurants right on the rice terraces which have the most amazing view and delicious food. I cannot write enough about how wonderful our stay was here. If you are coming to Bali, you must stay here!

Everything was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We loved absolutely everything about the hotel!

My husband and I loved staying here. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud City Centre, but this villa was so conveniently located walking distance from so many affordable restaurants with stunning rice terrace views, walking distance from a couple of convenience stores, and walking distance from a gym. The villa also offers a free shuttle bus to Ubud City Centre every single day, they drop you off and pick you up. So we barely had to spend any $$ on getting around each day. The daily breakfast was also delicious. Every day you get to choose a main meal, served with a juice, a plate of fruit per person, a basket of pastries, and a tea or coffee. It was really great value for money, highly recommend opting for the breakfast included booking option. The service was also exceptional, the staff were so friendly and accomodating. And the villa itself was even better in person than the pictures. So beautiful and peaceful.

You will encounter natural wildlife like geckos, frogs, and large flying insects around the villa but that is just due to the natural landscape and the bathroom being outdoors. We did end up with a wasp inside our villa once, but the staff were so helpful in taking care of it for us immediately. It wasn't at all a dealbreaker. Just something to be mindful of.

The location could not be more perfect, just across from the famous rice terraces, and the villas themselves are beautiful and authentic, with breathtaking views of the jungle. We loved our villa so much that, after trying another place we didn’t enjoy, we immediately returned here on the day of our departure. That says it all! A truly memorable experience – you feel cared for in every way, and all your wishes are fulfilled. We would return anytime without hesitation.

We spent part of our honeymoon at Anandari Ubud Villa and the service was exceptional. Koko, Wayan, and the team made us feel truly cared for — always warm, thoughtful, and a step ahead of our needs. The floating breakfast was a daily highlight, always fresh and beautifully presented. They arranged in-villa massages and curated day trips around Ubud effortlessly, making everything stress-free. Their personal touches made our stay unforgettable — we felt celebrated, not just accommodated. Can’t recommend it enough for couples looking for genuine hospitality in a private, tranquil setting.

Everything was done to a very high standard. Excellent private facilities. The staff were all exceptional and very attentive. The facility offers authentic Indonesian lunch and dinner at a reasonable price, as well as laundry service, which is ideal for travellers out for 2-3+ weeks. Ideal location close to the rice terrace. We booked massages and facials through the hotel also. Highly recommend this for couples on their honeymoon.

Nothing we didn’t like but only thing to bear in mind is that you are in a jungle and you might come across ants and mosquitos but if you close the door and use the nets you’ll be fine!

Staying at Anandari Ubud Villa was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The villa itself is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Ubud—lush greenery, rice fields, and calming sounds of nature. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with traditional Balinese touches. The private pool and view from the villa made every morning and evening feel like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—always smiling, attentive, and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming setting. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a honeymoon stay, or just a relaxing escape, Anandari is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud!

You need to stay here when visiting Ubud. It is a perfect oasis in the middle of the jungle. Staff is amazing - you get breakfast served directly to the room which you order the day before, free shuttle to and from anywhere in Ubud, room service and minibar is SUPER cheap and the dinner was tasty. Communication via WhatsApp was never a problem, they reply immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Just know that at the time of writing this review and my stay, they are building two more villas next to the existing ones. There may be occasional noise, but I didn't mind it at all! They are actually keeping it pretty quiet and the staff reassured us if there was too much noise to let them know.

The villa was absolutely stunning, with its private garden and pool and the unique open bathroom—an experience we enjoyed even during the occasional storms. From start to finish, we felt genuinely cared for. Every staff member was exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring our stay was smooth and memorable. We made use of several services, including laundry, in-villa dining, scooter rental, pickup from the centre of Ubud, and a couple’s massage in our room. All were handled seamlessly. The staff consistently checked in on us and were incredibly responsive. For instance, they helped decorate the bedroom with flowers and prepare a birthday cake, as requested by my partner. Their availability on WhatsApp was particularly impressive. Even when we messaged at 3 am before heading to see the sunrise, they responded within minutes. The team also showed great care for the surrounding nature, maintaining a calm and authentic atmosphere where the villas are situated. During our stay in the rainy season, a minor issue arose due to a thunderstorm. The manager personally followed up to ensure it didn’t affect our experience—a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference. We deeply appreciated the exceptional service and serene environment and will return with great pleasure!

The property is located at the most beautiful setting overlooking the forrest and rice terraces. It’s a bit far from Ubud center but they have a free shuttle that takes you there and back at your desired time so we didn’t see it as a problem. The staff was incredible and did everything they could to make our stay unforgettable. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Ubud

Nothing, literally everything was perfect

Wow, what a beautiful place. We didn't want to leave and will have to come back for a longer stay. The private pool, the lush garden view, floating breakfast and hospitality..it was such a dream!! Massages, activities, taxis and room service can all be arranged by the wonderful reception staff who were always available. Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. A couple of minutes walk from the rice terraces and restaurants. We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Anandari Ubud and really hope we can come back one day.
